[Resolved] Vodafone India — my prepaid number has been discontinued and allocated to someone else without any intimation to me | |||
Dear team, I have been using one vodafone prepaid number - [protected] for the past 10 years or more however i took a new postpaid number last year and has not been using the prepaid number from last few months. All of a sudden, i noticed that my number has been provided to someone else even though i have not discontinued the number by any written application or through phone. I immediately called vodafone customer care and told them about the issue. They told me that that it has been discontinued and allotted to someone else which is atrocious and unacceptable. It. I am really disappointed with vodafone for this as they did not bother to intimate me even through mail or a simple letter. Just to get new customers they cannot just ignore existing customers. I have all my banks connected to me through the previous vodafone number. Even my bank statements go to that number. And also i have some professional connection connected only through that number.
