Vodafone India — security amount refund | |||||
Devki singh (Unhappy vodafone customer) I had deposited 5000 rs as security deposit for activating international roaming on my phone, when i was activating the services the customer care had told me when i will be back and when i will deactivate the roaming services the amount will be refunded back. Now it is almost 2 months i am behind customer care asking for the refund, i had multiple tickets which were closed without any resolutions. Every time customer care tells me a different solution, i have an email saying that amount will be refunded within 7 days, then again when i followed up they told me that it will be refunded after 3 months when i will deactivate this number of mine, in other words they are directly asking me to get lost without having any hope of getting my 5000 rs. The worst experience ever, i was with airtel from last 5 years with the same number i never had any such issues, this year in january i ported my numbrer to vodafone and i now know that this was my biggest miskate of my life. I dont know how will a common customer fight with these people to get their hard earned money... Worst mobile network provider, i will never ever ask any of my family or friend to use vodafone. As per our telephonic conversation on 25/09/17 at 7:56 pm on your vodafone number [protected] regarding network related concern. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to you. With regards to your query, we would like to inform you that we have raised the request for refund of rs.5000/- to your bank account through which you have made the payment and the same will be credited to your account within 7 business working days. International roaming service was deactivated on 22/08/17 so as per the process after 30 days from the service deactivation date we can initiate refund of the amount so previously we didn’t initiate the same."
