[Resolved] Vodafone India — transfer of name of a pre paid sim card | |||
I went to a Vodafone store to transfer the name of a pre paid sim card which was in my mother's name to my name.They asked me to get an affidavit from the court in my mother's name that she wants to change it to my name.I went to the court with my mother and got the affidavit done, now when i went back to the vodafone store they were now saying no they need an affidavit in my name stating that I take the responsibility of the sim card.They tried to push us hard to change my connection from pre paid to post paid.I believe as I did not agree to it they deliberately harassed me by saying different things each time.Later they said that the name transfer is not possible if I dont change my connection from pre paid to post paid.I took all the pains to get the affidavit done go back to them and each time they demanded different things.I felt harassed and they wasted my time.
