Vodafone India — transfer of ownership of sim card

Hi Team,

I went to Vodafone store(ITPL main road, Kundanahalli, Bangalore) on 31st Aug 2018 to transfer ownership of the SIM card from my friend's name to my name.

After spending one and half an hour time at the center( waiting in the queue, filling the forms, verification of documents and payment of advanced bill) finally the customer executive informed me that it is not possible because you are not blood related. It was not informed us at the start of the procedure that transfer of owner ship is possible only if we are blood related and when I asked him about the same he told that he forgot.

when I asked him that such things has to be informed to customer, his reply was, "why should we inform?, we don't do that" I really didn't expect such irresponsible reply from the customer executive.

If company is changing any of its policies, it should be informed to the customers either via SMS or email well in advance so that customers will be aware of the changes, but it didn't happen and it is no where mentioned on VODAFONE website also that transfer of ownership is possible only for blood relation.

As it is not informed to us that transfer of owner ship is possible through blood relation and no where mentioned on VODAFONE website am looking for change of ownership

Could you please look into the issue and help us to get it resolved.

I can only receive messages! Since two months I'm trying to send messages but it fails. So basically I can't send any message I can call I receive messages I get data but I can't send a message
