Vodafone India — Unethical behaviour | |||||
I was a happy airtel customer, but one day i had received a call from vodafone asking if i would like to port my number to vodafone. Vodafone offered a plan which was quite an unresistant offer: 500 rs monthly rental unlimited local/std calls plus 6-gb internet free for life + 9-gb of additional data pack just for three months and subsequently i had applied for porting and successfully ported to vodafone. Now recently when i checked with their mobile app only 5-gb of internet data it was showing and i immediately called up their customer care on sunday (28th may 2017) to inquire about my missing additional 10-gb of data, they said this plan no longer exists and asked me to switch into another plan of same rental and calling features however in this plan i will get 5-gb internet for life + 10-gb additional for next three months, again i happily opted this plan, and their executive told us 5-gb will be added instantly and 10-gb after 48 hours. 5-gb data did come in my account but now after 3 days i. E. Yesterday (30-may-2017) i rechecked again for additional 10-gb, now their executive was telling me, there is no such plan and you will not get any 10-gb of data. I felt cheated with this incident and since i am freshly ported to vodafone as per mnp rules i cannot port back to my original operator unless i complete my 90 days of porting cycle. I would like to take strict action against vodafone who is cheating people and giving them hard time with their unethical behavior. If required i would like to go consumer court as well. I just dont want to sue them to get some compensation but want to teach them lesson about morality and ethics. Its not my fight anymore i am sure if they must have done this other people as well. I am also filing up the petition on change.org for change in mnp rules. We live in a democratic country, cheaters mobile providers like vodafone mustnt go away with such behavior easily.
