[Resolved] Vodafone India — Worst Response from Customer Service | |||
Worst customer service I have ever faced. I have ported my number from Reliance to Vodafone which was registered under my mother's id and using it for the past two months and I kept reciving a text intimation to pay my outstanding bill in reliance to continue service with vodafone to which I have cleared my account in reliance but I was not able to submit my bill to the near by vodafone store and my number was deactivated for obvious reasons (I have paid my bill for the current month to which the transaction was stopped by the service provider but the amount was debited from my account and I have raised a complaint about it in customer care chat support and the agent named Roja did not intimate me about the pending confirmation from my previous service provider or to submit the bill). By 10th of oct I went to the near by vodafone store to convey this message and I was ready to do the neccessary but the agents in the store on the other hand were not even ready to explain me polietly and was quarelling and answeing me rudely that I could not submitt the bill or contact customer service. How could I possibly contact customer service(111) if my post paid number was deativated and none of my acquaintace or neighbours use vodafone postpaid.Online chat support was disabled after 2nd oct.Here's their answer after I submitted my bill which I had fortunately even after 20 days(I paid my bill by 13-Oct): Agent name Vinod Counter number A(Velachery vodafone care):I have sent the request and your number will be activated within one hour (which was activated after 2days) in a rude way to which was very much iritating Me:Gud, but why is it happening like this, I was getting bill more than I expect but even I was ready to pay the bill and there was no email intimation to submit my bill(to which they have record that an automated email was sent to my reg.email by 26-sep-2014). Agent Vinod:c, you are not a customer to us(the number was registered under my mother's id) and we don't have to answer your question. I have sent your request and your number would be activated within one hour. Me: How could you answer like this to a customer and you are not answering my question either Agent:This is the way we can answer, I told you that your number would be activated in one hour and you can leave if you dont have any other issues. So after this incident I spoke with their team leader(Ratna) and Manager(Swati Singh) who were poliete enough to hear my problem but my number was not activated even after 24 hrs. I am not goind to refer this service even to my foe and am about to cancel the service. Please do whatever you could to upgrade the service or take severe actions against them.
