[Resolved] Vodafone India — Wrong communication which resulted in heavy bill | |||
I'am sick of not getting any response to my complaint from last 2 days! I had requested change of my plan from red family plan Rs 899 to Rs 149 basic plan on 10th of July. Their helpline executive told me that because it is red family plan it will get changed from next billing cycle I.e. from 9th of August which means same Rs 899 plan will be active till 9th August which has some free 3G data, calls and smses and different cheaper tarrif AND I SHOULD BE CHARGED AS PER RS 899 PLAN FOR BILLING CYCLE OF 9TH JULY TO 9TH AUGUST. But now you have charged me according to new plan for the said bill cycle i.e. Rs 149 which has no free 3G, calls and smses and higher tariff. As a result my bill which never crossed bill amount of Rs 2500 has come to Rs 12000. This is not right their executive has given wrong communication or they are trying to cheat their customer. And their helpline executives / senior executives / corporate executives are saying these charges are correctly levied. I mean come on how can these guys are not able to understand simple case that they changed the plan in advance which is not my fault. How is this thing correct in any way? On mail your executive Ms Swati is saying she called me at 12.10 on 11th Aug and 5.20 on 12th Aug and I did not respond but it never ringed. All other calls are answered around both times but their calls are not ringed or missed. #Liars. She says we have credited some Rs 2000 or so as a special case. I don't need any favors alright!! I need resolutions to my problem. On their complaint helpline people are saying they can't do anything about it. they are helpless than how come its complaint helpline? They are not able prove it and tell me on why should I bear the charges because in back of the mind they know I' am right from my end. All they are saying if Ms. Swati from corporate has said these are correct than nothing can be done. If tomorrow they put Rs 100000 as bill and their corporate guys say these are also correctly levied and ask me to pay I have to pay the same? come Rs 12000 is not small amount. Where do I go and discuss the case? These are sick / cheap practices never expected this from Corporate like vodafone I' am not going to pay the bill till you guys prove me with reasons that it is my fault in changing the plan before date communicated to me.
