Vodafone — Main Balance Negative, Failed to send SMS prompt

I'm a prepaid user. From past many plan recharges, I'm facing the issue of sms failed to send. I found my main balance was negative at Rs. - 0.78, I check this through Vi messages, both customer care numbers 199 as well as 198 and the Vi app, it cleary said and says and shows Rs. - 0.78. So I went and did a top up of Rs. 10 once and Rs. 12 twice. It still shows the same. I got connected with customer care executive, I was said my messages are failed as my balance is in negative. I then went and explained, then I was said my balance is Rs. -78 and not Rs.-0.78, the person then corrected by saying no sorry, its -0.78 itself and asked me to do another top up which I denied. They then forwarded my call to a superior executive, who kept on saying my main balance is -78 Rupees and asked me to do a Rs.100 recharge.
I don't understand, that even if its Rs.78 which its not, it should show Rs.68 right ? Or even less. But its still the same.
Plus there no proper reply to what my number did from my main balance to go in negative, they gave only the possible outcomes that must have happened and not exactly what I did.
