[Resolved] Vodafone — Unauthorized deduction from balance without any service | |||
Hi, I have been using vodafone since many years. After this unlimited pack recharges started, i usually keep my main balance 0. Last nov 2019 i recharges my mobile with 100 + 100rs and realized that balance was 0 in few weeks. I though it may be because i had traveled to bhutan. I started keeping tap on my balance. And since jan 13 2020, i cam to know that vodafone is deducting 21/49 or some amount in name of some random package. I had heated conversation with vodafone customer executive and they said in good will they are returning the amount. However till march 2020 21 then 49 then 21 then 49 and 49 rs got deducted in some some amount of time. Its was till the time i warn them that i will port my number. The deduction stopped happening. Now in may i recharged my number with 3 month pack. And as expected again the deduction started. This time they deducted 29 rs on 24th may. For "dnld-wwap_dls0029_ppu_kin01467053" package. Again there is no service activated on my number and no such name of download file in my mobile.in fact there is no download history on my mobile for 24th may (Same for all previous deductions). When i asked what is this download and what it does there customer care have no reply. They simply say they don't know. Now i don't understand any reason to pay even 1 rs if there is no service on my number or no download on my mobile. On searching this on google, i came to know there are many consumer of vodafone who face similar deduction with no information of what the deduction is for or what the package actually does. This is a scam they are running to deduct main balance and after complaint they give that package name and say they cannot return the balance. Kindly raise a strict action against these type of activity of vodafone india. I have a 30+ mail chain going on with them since january. This time they are not even replying me. They have blocked my on fb messenger & on twitter they only give one reply as the charges was valid. If i am not even getting any service nor i have any download on my mobile how can the charge be valid? I have attached trai cms screenshot saying no active service.
