Vodafone — VI - SIM Verification Call Dropping Problem

I got a new Vi sim card yesterday. I was told that the sim will be activated within 2 hours and then I have to dial 59059 for tele verification. I have been trying for more than 9 hours but upon dialing 59059, the call keeps dropping. I am not able to complete verification. There are network bars showing on my phone for the sim, but I am not being able to get through to 59059 for tele verification
