Since vodafone is not able to provide data service to my location i am trying to port my number to another cellular network service provider. When i am trying to generate porting code i am getting below message.
"upc cannot be generated as there are subsisting contractual obligations with your service provider"
After discussion with vodafone helpdesk on 4th jul'20; they asked me to visit vodafone showroom. The resources at vodafone store mentioned that there was some technical error and will be resolved in 48 working hours. The issue is still not resolved and today is 15th jul'20.. 11 days post raising an initial request.
I have been sending request to generate a upc code regularly but have not been able to do so.
The issue has already been escalated to the vodafone india ceo, ravinder takkar. However, no resolution so far. There have been several correspondence from their service desk teams with a confirmation to resolve the issue but as expected, i have not yet been able to generate a upc code.
Vodafone service desk is unable to provide any solution. They even are not able to share the details for which i am getting this message.
Ticket numbers opened with vodafone are
4th jul: c003-[protected].. Opened as issue for port out/noted as issue with network
13th jul: c003-[protected]x
