I ported my number airtel sim to vodafone on 14th july 2020, the porting has been completed and received the signals on my new vodafone sim, but it's not yet activated, had a word with vodafone customer care executive but he gave wrong info, trying to call customer care again but reaching to an executive is a hercules task, still trying to connect with vodafone care executive.

Now, my decision to port from airtel to vodafone, seems a wrong decision due to bad field and customer care executives.

    We have been facing too much problems with Vodafone Services regarding poor network since the past 2 months.
    Verbal complaints then personal visit to their office and complaints over e-mail have not helped us.
    Finally searched their website for contact details of their Customer Care Services Head o[censored].P. East Circle, which displays Mr. Vinay Saxena. We called on the given mobile number and narrated our problem, some person named ROHIT attended the call and assured that our problem would be resolved by 16th July 2020 5p.m. That too was just a false assurance.
    Again called on 17th July, but another person answered the call and again wanted me to narrate the whole story once again to him. When we asked for the person (ROHIT) who spoke to us earlier, he was un-available. Every time I have called, the mobile number of Customer Care Head is picked up by different persons and he is un-available.
    Really ridiculous and disgusting state of affairs.
    We are now left with the only option of porting our connection to another service provider.

      Phone Number 0 [protected]

      He asked me he will guide me to initiate Refund amount of RS 11870 from Shine.com and walked me through process, of Google pay UPI Voucher Redeem code.

      he asked me to pay amount
      24999 RFCAZ
      29999 RFCSHINEREFUNDAZ to [protected]@okicici

      and by this i will get refund and no amount will get deducted from my account.

      Amount 24999+29999+24999 got deducted from my account and no refund was made.

      This is Fraud from your side
      I am Going to File FIR if this will not get resolved within 2 hours.

        Dear VodafoneIdea,

        I have been trying to send request to PORT out for my vodafone number [protected].
        But everytime it is failing. I checked my plan's validity and balance, both seems fine and still I am unable to send the PORT SMS.

        After a google search, found out that many people have faced this same problem.

        If there is a facility provided by the Regulatory Authority (TRAI), you must adhere to that. By not allowing users to be able to send this message OR Blocking 1900 for outgoing message, this is a clear case of Defaulting with the Rules and Regulations.

        I reported the same issue via Twitter as well. Several Customer Reps came into DM just for 1 message and message was same with all of them.

        their message read:
        "Hi! We apologize for the trouble caused. As per our records, your service validity is expired. You can do a minimum recharge of Rs 49, in which you will get Rs. 38 Limited Validity Talktime+All Local/National [protected]@2.5p/sec+100 MB for a validity of 28 days"

        Tried asking the executives to explain the Balance but no one replied.
        At this moment, Vodafone had already blocked my everything.. Outgoing Calls / SMS /Data

        Finally I had to forcefully do a recharge of 39/- after which, Vodafone resumed the services and i could send the SMS.

        This is clearly loot going on from Vodafone. And their system too seems full of faults. Moreover no one responds, tried to reach Customer Care Executive via IVR.. but it seems they have removed that option completely.

            Vodafone has failed to provide pre-paidinternet service despite several recharges. There is poor internet connection for long 3 months. Vodafone has robbed my money. Despite several attempts to reach out vodafone customer executives for failed service, no connection can be done with them.

              See i have done recharge of 149 in vodafone number [protected] after that i couldn't send msg to anyone specially for upi.. I again place your sim in first position nothing happen
              Again do recharge for sms
              This is worst thing
              I pay 149 for my sms service ok please restore
              Otherwise i will go to consumers court...
              Your company will not able to handle more court case...
              Monday saturday i will file complain if you don't allow to send sms... I pay for sms ok [protected]

                Hi,

                I had the above mobile in my personal name and given deposit of rs 4, 000/- plus to activate my roaming connection. However few years back, my mobile no was converted to corporate account. However i have not received the refund of security deposit placed when it was a personal number so far.

                I had placed the complaint at your sunder nagar, malad west, mumbai 400064 store in january for the refund.. However the store has been closed and i cannot follow up with them now.

                Please refund the deposit at the earliest.

                  I recharged vodaphone on[protected] but when i'm trying to call or balance message is coming. I have recharged rs.40. Iam not able to make calls. Sms has come from bank as well as vodaphone that recharge is made. Vodaphone even smsed the talk time is credited. But it is not accepting. The voice says no balance. Can you please look into this?

                    Last 1 week vodafone deducted rs 10 twice from my balance. Got an sms saying that i have downloaded carban_game from carbun8, but i didn't. I have checked installed apps as well as downloaded files. But no such app/file found in may mobile. When it first happend on 9th july, i have called customer support. They said they couldn't refund deducted amount but deactivate that service. But again on 14th july, rs 10 deducted from balance.
                    Dear vodafone, if you are in loss, cheating customer is not the right way to earn money.

                      This is not expected from vodafone. Previously i'm an idea postpaid customer, now my number moved to vodafone by idea. This month i got a very huge bill amount. I don't want to continue in vodafone. If possible i want to move back to my favorite network of idea or else airtel.

                      Without any intimation, they raised/increased charges. I don't want to wast my money.

                        I am tired of complaining to vodafone since last 15 days but have only got false commitment that i will get a call from their network team.
                        Sir this is on going for the last 15 days and i am now tired with this.
                        Today while i was registering my complaint (Complaint no: mum-v[protected]) an advisor has hung up the call. This is utterly a very bad experience, sir we invest our hard earned money and get treated like this is so not right.
                        I am suffering loss as of work from home and my children cannot access data for online schools.
                        Please pick this up on a priority.

                          Dear all,
                          I have raised a complain regarding network connection issue to vodafone on 12 july 2020 (Reference no - mum-v[protected]).
                          Vodafone network team is closed my complain without informing me anything. I called customer care to ask the current status of my complain.
                          Customer executive told me that there is no problem in your area and your complain has been resolved because your phone is not reachable.
                          I request him to reopen my complain but every time they are closing my complain without informing me.
                          Apart from that i have tried everything what they have told me regarding network issues i have changed my cellphone also. (Mobile data pack validity is valid till sep 2020)
                          Please suggest what should i do and request you to help me to resolve my issue.

                            Since vodafone is not able to provide data service to my location i am trying to port my number to another cellular network service provider. When i am trying to generate porting code i am getting below message.
                            "upc cannot be generated as there are subsisting contractual obligations with your service provider"

                            The phone always shows 4g and full range but the speed is so poor that it doesn't run even the most basic apps!!

                            Vodafone has a whatsapp help service which is only a user manual and does not help at all.

                            It finally provides a number 199 for consumer complaints which is an invalid number!!

                            Stores are shut due to the lockdown and hence there is absolutely no way one can get the issue resolved.

                            Maybe even the company wants to prompt its customers to shift to jio.

                              Vodafone gujarat billed me rs. 1080 + gst for "calls - special numbers".

                              I have been voda customer since 15 years. This month july 2020 i received my bill which has an exhobiant charge of rs. 1080.00 + gst under the head of "calls - special numbers" under value added services!,

                              I asked for the details of these 'special numbers" from customer care, they were not able to give me any details about these numbers and did not have any solution to this.

                              Next day i was not able to connect to any vodafone customer care call from my phone and the ivr keeps on taking for a ride for hours.

                              I have attached a screensot of the bill.

                              Please keep an eye on your vodafone bills.

                              This is really unfortunate that Vodafone denies to accept the billing system issues and causes harassment to customer.

                              This is crystal clear I have not made 200 sms to a fictitious number 53488 .
                              July bill - special number charges ~1000/- came as big surprise.

                              Charged in May bill for International SMS where none of the numbers are known to me.
                              Look at the data
                              It's on a single day at midnight in the span of 1 min, 39 sms records . Is it possible for a human to do this SMS typing so many big numbers and then send sms.
                              In spite of multiple follow ups Vodafone customer service continues to overlook on that and continues to pass the blame back to customer.

                                Dear sir/madam

                                I am a vodafone customer from more than 6 years. Now in my location, lower bhanu nagar, sevoke road siliguri, pin no.- 734002, west bengal. The internet service is very poor as you can see in the screenshot image. As par image upload by me 4g internet i have but i cant open a google page i can not play any online games.

                                So we recharge more than 1000 rupees plus for me and my family but we can use any internet services i call many times to vodafone customer care but they not responding so i can found any solution for this problem.

                                Now in my location no internet available. My location is not a tea garden or remote area my recent resident is siliguri a beg city of west bengal. I can expect better service from vodafone but now vodafone network is worst service provider.
