Airtel Broadband — Billing and Shifting

I had shifted my residential premises and requested for connection to be relocated. Airtel did honour that in a few days time after receiving all documentatins. Unfortunately since 6 months i had been trying to get the address changed so that i can receive bills on time and nothing happend. I escalated to their escalation dept., but everytime it was a blanket promise that the bills will reach the same day and apologies... frustrated i disconnected. On top of this after disconnection, i got the bills and the courier representative was showing faces to my family which is the most irritating part. If companies cannot take care basic address update i wonder how they will handle technical problems!!!! God Bless Airtel!!

hi I too have lost my money and patience with such frauds. Recently they disguised as Airtel guys and showed me all details with Airtel logo and Airtel broadband forms. I could not believe it was such a perfect forgery without making customers suspect. I paid Rs.2200 for plan+modem. The next day onward, I received no calls rather, their contact numbers are all switched offnot-available. Even I received a payment for which the phone numbers referred to Airtel are incorrect. Will Airtel take immediate action against these fraud activities?. We have heard enough of this.

Airtel Broadband — Regarding Airtel Broadband-Never try to get their Services

Dear all Broadband Users,

All of you to inform you that if you want to get the broadband service then never ever try to get Airtel Broadband becoz I am using or was using a no.[protected], I logged a complain on 7th Sep 2011 becoz my Internet connection is not working but they can't resolve the problem even it 16 days crossed today.The only thing they can do they can revise your complain no from 3676314 to 3873788 to 4356664 and if you dare to try to call their customer care no 121 or 198 then you are simply wasting your expensive time becoz they will communicate to you like you are wasting their time they can't resolve the problem but they can repeat your conversation what you have communicated earlier or that will be aggressively.Becoz I am facing this since 8th Sep11.

And this is not the end they will also charge you for this as your rental will continue even connection is working or not or customer has whatever problem due to this they even don't care.If the airtel have raised the bill then you have to pay.

The other solution is email to Nodal: that is also a very blunder mistake if you want to do this.

This information is only for the users who want to live in this internet era then never ever try to get AIRTEL BROADBAND becoz this will kick you to Harappa Era.

Since last 2 yrs i m customer of air tel broad band service. I always pay the bills before time. Although the service was good but since last 3-4 months it is getting spoiled Air tel is not able 2 find the fault of my connection and this is going to be very irritating day by day , I used to complaint them daily. all of them are very interested to know the status of the complaint but nobody is bothering to resolve the problem technically. Like so many operators from different cities used to call daily 4-5 times with there sweet voice and they say Mr So & so Your , complaint no is this, Your mobile no is this but nobody sends some one and no body resolves the complaint my latest complaint (probably !!th ) No 4060194.
I m fed up now and wants to got disconnected the connections and there a few relatives and friends who are also very fed up with the air tel's poor service.

Airtel Broadband — Unfair Billing System

Airtel is currently fixing there broadband backend software. Due to the issues in their System they have been charging higher download charges.
For two months in a row I have received higher broandband charges with no explanation. They randomly put any downloaded amount in the billing sheet and expect customer to pay the money.
They accept that the billing system is being fixed but allways charge the customer extra.

I request everyone to take proper precaution before using their Services.

Airtel Broadband — NOT LINKING TO CERTAIN BANK'S CUSTOMER LOGIN

Our account no. for Airtel broadband is 16324400. For the last almost 15 days we are not getting connected to the customer login of the Tamilnad Mercantile bank Ltd. through Airtel broadband. In our other associates' offices where ever they are using BSNL or Asianet broadband services no such issues are faced. We have contacted the Bank authorities and they have also confirmed that this issue is faced with AIRTEL only. We have written them many times including their nodal officer and Corporate office but still the problem is not resolved. On 17th of September one of the Airtel representatives visited our office and told us that the fault is somewhere in the Chennai server and they will come back to us once the same is rectified. Till this day thereafter they have not contacted.

Airtel Broadband — Bill Clarification

We made a compliant on 12/09/2011 regarding our broadband bill of no.4065 0094/95.We were said that it would get solved by 13/09/2011.
The issue was we made a call to Madagascar sor 2 mins for which we were charged Rs.2200.We need a clarification on the bill amount....till then payment is on hold...please draw your attention towards the matter.

Airtel Broadband — Pathetic Service on Airtel Broadband

I would like to provide you an update regarding the pathetic services provided by Airtel Broadband team after my Broadband stopped working.
My Broadband stopped working and Phone was also Died at 24 Sept 2011 9:30 AM: I called Airtel Customer care (12190) at 11:14 AM and reported this issue and got the complaint registered as 4603830 and I was informed that it will be resolved by 4:35 PM on 24th Sept 2011 itself.
It was not resolved by the given time, then I called Airtel Cc once again at 5:35 PM to ask the status, they said it will be resolved by 9 AM on 25th Sept 2011.
It was again not resolved by this time, then I called Airtel Cc once again at 12:55 PM for status and the call got disconnected.
I called up again at 12:59 PM and asked for the status, they said they’re working on this and will resolve this ASAP.
It was not resolved by end of the day. Hence I called up Airtel Cc again at 10:27 PM on 25th Sept 2011 and they informed me that at there end, issue is already resolved and they’ve closed the case already with confirming from me. Then I’ve informed that issue is not yet resolved and then they’ve REOPENED the case and assured me they’ll update this to be taken on priority so that this will be resolved by tomorrow.
It was not resolved by 26th Sept end of the day also and called up Airtel Cc care again at 8:25 PM on 26th Sept 2011. Requested to escalate this to their escalation team, they disconnected the call three times and I couldn’t speak to escalation people and my issue was neither resolved, nor escalated.
On 27th Sept again I’ve received an SMS on my mobile ([protected]) that my issue has been resolved however actually it was not resolved.
I then called Airtel Cc 4 times on 27th Sept 2011 and requested everytime to escalate this case to Manager/Escalation team however they were unable to do so. Finally last time I got an escalation person named as PAVITRA who took my query and promised me that it will be resolved in 24 hours, however still the issue is not resolved.
After calling 14 times, there is no resolution to this issue which was due to some cable broken somewhere outside on the road. My Internet services are down continuously since past 6 days and no clue to be resolved in near future by looking at the response from Airtel Customer Care people.
I request you with an expectation that you'll do something to push Airtel to resolve this issue asap as I am kind of handicapped without internet services. I am at the verge of losing my Job now.

Airtel Broadband — Defective modem

I have purchased AIRTEL broadband connection in FEB 2011 with Rs: 1399/ month plan, i was given with a modem free of cost. 6 months later ( Aug 2011) the modem got repaired and AIRTEL is not reasy to replace the modem, and i found that the modem is made in MAY 2006. Also billing has to many problems so please avoid Airtel B band connections.
Airtel offering waiver on our bill for non working days of internet connection. Inspite o[censored]s getting the waiver for non working of the internet services. This month again they have started the same. Its a waste of time for Airtel staffs to generate a bill for us and again giving us waiver, better give us full month discount from non payment of the internet bill.

Now a days AIRTEL has become to behave fully money minded without providing proper service. Today we have made the payment to Airtel and internet connection got disconnected. Even last month they insisted on payment for non working days of internet connection.

Last august 5.8.11 the problem started and ended on 29th august. - complaint no 1832446, 2171962
This month started on 4.10.11 and it is going to end only on 31st October ? - complaint no 5154606 Your customer care persons are going to simply drag the days.

Its a more waste of time for both o[censored]s to give a complaint daily and the problem keeps continuing. Better give a free of service for this month. Anyway AIRTEL is not going to lose anything by giving this one account a free service.

Hi,

I gave airtel broadband connection on sep 26 th at that time they gave wired modem.
Now i requested for WI-FI but now they are saying there is no stock and it will take sometime.
If that is the case I plane to discontinue the service and move to other vendor.Please take necessary action to have it for my laptop.

Airtel Broadband — Bill not correct

I have a Airtel Broadband connection. 2 Months back I changed my plan from 777 to 999 unlimited. When i received my bill after this change it was for RS 7600 and I had to call 20 times to get this issue resolved. Finally they resolved after calling 20 times. But this month I got my bill and again same mistake and now it is 4800. I have lodged a complaint and again as usual Airtel service is pathetic and till now no update on that. Airtel service has become worst and they don't care at all for customers. I asked them I will disconnect but for that also they are not calling me back.

I am using this connection from past 4 years and this is what you get back being a premium customer of Airtel.

i am facing regarding bill of sep.2011 bill ,airtel given me 18200 bill of one month...when i called them they told me my plan migrated into 549 plan..but when i requested them to migrated my plan on 11 sep. 2011 they mailed me "your plan bill be migrated into 549 and will be effcted from next bill cycle 11 oct. 2011" it means my plan wolud be change in oct. but they given me sep. bill according this plan....when i requsted them to resolution they told me your plan is migrated from 14 sep. 2011 ,if my plan is migrated then why they not mailed me....and when i used more data then why not mailed me ,normally service provider inform that you uses more data n your bill may be these these....
when i complained about bill customer care called me on 15 oct. near abt 2 O'clock and told me"you are our reputed customer be arrange your bill near abt 5000,i[censored] don't cancel connction(on 13 oct. i requsted them to terminated my connction due to bill problem)...we given you discount ....i told them when last i used the unlimited plan of 799rs,i payed only that" they disconncted call n never reply...

when i called again on oct 19 customer care told me my requste has been close beause my plan convert into 549...

i want to Know----

1- if my plan converted into 549 plan on sep. then why maild me it will be effected from next bill cycle.
2-when i used 100% limit why r u not mail or called me.
3- why are u not informed me i am used more data..
4- you know why i converted plan into lower plan beause 799 high to me....after all you know customer problem u never informed me about high bill
5- credit limit of 549 plan is 1999...then how to given me bill of 18200
6- when i always told that 790 rs is high to me then why are u given me this type of bill i mail you on 8 sep. 2011 at 12.52 regarding lower plan
7- u made a mail that your plan activated from next bill cycle means from oct..( next bill cycle means next month beause when i mailed to termination connection on 8oct..your re presenter told me me on oct.9 that will effect from next bill cycle means after oct ...bill(nov-11)..
when in termination your bill cycle is next month and in billing this is current month...
8- when plan changed that u told from sep. then i[censored] called me ,i asked about activation of plan(but u not called me only mail).

from last 7 days i am in mental problem...today 20 mailed in nodel office given time to solve problem 23oct abt 2 O'clock....
hen problem is simple then why are u taking time...

this is clear how many time i called you near abt 20 times i spend more then 250 rs on calls....
please solve my problem ....what can i do i can't pay...

Airtel Broadband — Not refunded

Hi,

I applied for new broadband connection on 28th Aug 2011. The service was not provided even after 15 days so we decided for cancellation.

I called the Airtel and informed about the cancellation. They said someone would call us to get the confirmation on the cancellation & the amount would be refunded in next 45 days. But in vain.

We called them again on 28th Sept 2011. This time, too, it was the same respnse. The history continued.

I called them again on 2nd Nov 2011, this time too it was the same response.

Can anyone help us on this. Would highly appreciate your help/suggestion.

Airtel Broadband — Refund Amount not received yet

I applied for AIRTEL Broadband connection back in May 2011. I have given a cheque for 899/-, and it got deposited immediately. My application was cancelled as there was no network feasibility at my location. I have been requesting to send my refund amount back. I have been raising the complaints to customer services. Even after several complaints, the response from the customer care is the same, my issue is on high priority they are still working on the same. Every time I raise a complaint they will tell the resolution date. If I call them back they will raise a new complaint and will give me a new resolution date.
My recent complaint number: 6182218
I am not really sure, will it take 4 months to send a refund cheque to the address available in my application. I am totally tired of doing this any more. Hope atleast I will get resolution by this.

Airtel Broadband — Internet speed not increased

i had request for increase in my broadband speed from 512kbps to 2mbps and airtel people told me that the change will take effect from 23rd november but there has been no change yet
