Airtel Broadband — Billing and Shifting

I had shifted my residential premises and requested for connection to be relocated. Airtel did honour that in a few days time after receiving all documentatins. Unfortunately since 6 months i had been trying to get the address changed so that i can receive bills on time and nothing happend. I escalated to their escalation dept., but everytime it was a blanket promise that the bills will reach the same day and apologies... frustrated i disconnected. On top of this after disconnection, i got the bills and the courier representative was showing faces to my family which is the most irritating part. If companies cannot take care basic address update i wonder how they will handle technical problems!!!! God Bless Airtel!!

My problem: This issue is still not resolved even after 1st complaint and 1st complaint was closed without
my approval - could have called my alternate number before closing ticket. Please get issue resolved on urgent basis as I am losing on my home business.

I have not recevie any legal notice yet but I do get call and SMS regularly to pay bill of the connection which I have already disconnectedand I am not living that place due to change in my residence.
I have paid my bill before disconneting it.
same is the case with me.I think this is common with AIRTEL connection.

(1) kindly refer my complained dated 10/10/10, wherein I have lodged a complain about non usage of broad band connectivity with phone no.40144712 & account no 15130133. I have not received any solution to my complain. I am sorry to state here that your officials have not responded to my complain. This is the kind of bad service you have offered to me till date that is 25/10/10.
(2) i have received the bill no[protected] dated 27 sept, 2010 for rs.5888.97, to be paid immediately and or rs.6183.42 up to 16/10/10. It seems that your account department and your legal department and your day to day administration department have a single motto to harass & create hardship to customer like me, for no fault of mine.
(3)I have already paid the sum of Rs.5888 vide receipt no[protected] dated 5/10/2010 in your Lower parel office, for your wrong billing and interpretation. Because i cannot use 2 broadband connection at the same time on single desktop.
(4) I am presently using only new browser 699 plan(new no.40147034 & account no.[protected].
(5) I request you to look in to the matter and restore the justice to me by reimbursing the amount of Rs.5888 and punish the culprit and not the customer. I once again state and confirm that i am not using the old connection (connection.no.[protected].

I have shifted my residence from Apana enclave railway stion road gurgaon to near
by sector -4 and applied for shifting.Repeated requist the telephone connction is done.My telephone no is [protected].But my connction is not activated.Every time when I call customer care centre they ask to wait 48 hours.I do not know whom I have to contact.Why this delay.I have been using this connection from 2004 onwords.The airtel do not understand credibility of customer what we can do.The airtel become big co but service standards are going down every day

Airtel Broadband — Broadband Billing

Hi,

I placed request for the cancellation of Airtel Broadband connection [protected], on 29th August 2010 as I was shifting to a new residence. I paid complete bill for the bill cycle 8th August to 7th September even if I used services till 29th August 2010. But still the connection is active and I am receiving bills. Around one month back, I received a call from a recovery agent,hired by airtel, for payment of next month bill for the services I didn't use.

Again, I took new Airtel connection at new residence after paying Rs. 1750/- as their various charges. But still their services were so pathetic that I had to place request for the cancellation of second connection just after one month.

Airtel is such a shame in the name of service providers that they cannot earn money by providing good services and are making money by harrassing the customers. They should be banned from running this business.

I request you to please look into this matter.

I had send this email to customer care on 5th oct, 2010. I
have not received any reply from customer care. I am re forwarding
the same for your consideration and an early reply.

I had taken the broadband
connection under the tariff lan value combo 649 on 25/8/2009.From
Deepak mehta marketing person of Airtel. I had paid a sum of Rs.
3245 by cheque no. 676402 dated 25/8/2009. This connectivity was
discontinued fron feb, 2010. The oral intimation was given through
phone and through your marketing person.
I had taken new connection of Airtel broadband on
20/3/2010 with new plan of browser 699.I had paid a sum of Rs. 3855
by cheque no 424195 Dated 20/3/2010. I had handed over the old
instrument and modem to Deepak mehta (for connection no[protected].
I had discontinued the usage of old broadband
connection and was using new browser 699 plan(new no.40147034 &
account no.[protected] & therefore no question arises for any payment
for the old connection. How ever i continued to receive the bill
from airtel for the old connection. Time and again i had informed
the customer care and the person from malad office with contact
no.[protected] that the bill raised by airtel has not been in use
with us. your official had personally visited my residence and he
was equally informed that the said old connection has been
discontinued from our residence since 20/3/2010.
Today in the morning, I have received a call from
your advocate Shri A.K.Singh with no.[protected] and shri Rajveer
with phone no. [protected] - stating that a legal proceeding is
being charged against me for not paying the outstanding amount of
Rs.5888.I was instructed to pay the above amount which i have not
used. I have paid the sum of Rs.5888 vide receipt no[protected]
dated 5/10/2010 in your Lower parel office.
I request you to look in to the matter and restore
the justice to me by reimbursing the amount of Rs.5888 and punish
the culprit and not the customer. I once again state and confirm
that i am not using the old connection (connection.no.[protected].

Airtel Broadband — REQUESTING TO DISCONNECT MY INTERNET BROADBAND CONNECTION

i want to disconnect my internet broadband connection. i tried to reach through customer care but i was asked to enter my landline number that i dont have..mine is broadband connection and not a fixedline one.so i wasnt provided with a landline phone.however, MY ACCOUNT no. is 15954989. with USER ID tblr0141914_kk.
hope, you do this for me at the earliest and i dont want to receive any unwanted outstanding charge later, as i learnt that airtel people keep calling ,those who already requested for disconnection, to pay their outstanding charges.
i already paid my current bill.it would be much better if i get a call from airtel for any clearification.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Iam totally disappointed with the AIRTEL broadband services nowadays.My wireless broadband gets disconnected everytime i connect with my laptop and working on some important stuff.I complained about this to airtel customer care and they are not even bothered to check what is the issue related to broadband.I have complained several times and even called the airtel person who visited our house and verified my airtel landline without rectifying the issue.
It is better to CHANGE to some other broadband services and to tell all my friends and colleagues to not to select AIRTEL broadband connection.
This is my last try with AIRTEL broadband connection.

Dear Airtel,

I wrote a mail 5 days ago regarding non termination of my airtel broadband service on time but i haven't received any response from Airtel till now.

But i did received 3 calls 2 from retention department and 1 from collection.

I had a long chat with the retention team and the gave the following information.

1) they informed me that i cleared all my bills by octomer.
2) In total I called 3 times to cancel my broadband connection.
3) The first time I called it was for change of address on 1st October. But I was being informed that there is no airtel broadband connectivity in the area of my new residence ( Mahavir enclave, dwarka). So i put a request to cancel my connection on 3rd october.
4) The retention team called me on 7th october to retain me. But I asked them to cencel my connection as there is no connectivity in my area.
5) But the retention agent still put a note that he has retained me by waving off Rs 350/-!!!
( now how this possible that I specifically told them to disconnected and I still got RETAINED!!!)
6) Yesterday, one more retention agent called. I told him that I have disconnected my connection in october. He advised me to visit Airtel Office ( customer care). I visited 3 Airtel office in Dwarka today only to be told that they have no idea what to do about broadband connection!!!


If you check your records than you will definetly notice that I have no Broadband usage since October.

Than, why I am still being as asked to pay?

Why my connection is active?

Why is it so difficult to disconnect my service?

Why there is no support from Airtel?

Why there is a clear definite procedure to disconnect connection?

Why there is no physical location where we can go and write a letter or something to disconnect?

This is horrible experience for me. I hope that some sense will prevail and end all this!!!

I moved my house on 1st October and called airtel to cancel my broadband
connection. I had cleared all my dues by that date. The customer support agent
advised me that I will receive a confirmation call to enquire if I want to
cancel the broadband connection.



I received 3 confirmation calls in 2 weeks from Airtel to whom I confirmed that
I want the connection to be discontinued. I mentioned then categorically that I
do not want the connection any more. To which I was being assured from Airtel
that the connection will be discontinued.



Now after 2 months I am receiving calls from Airtel Collection informing me to
make a payment of Rs 1032/- . Today the caller even threatened me that Airtel
will take legal action against me if I don¿t make the payment !!! I tried to
call customer support but they are not responding and are not helping me out.
They are telling me that it¿s my fault that the connection is not cancelled and
I will have to make the payment.



If I still receive any threatening calls from your end than I will have no
option but to report the matter to Consumer Court and take legal action. I have
all the documents regarding my last payment that clearly Poilts that I had
cleared all my dues before moving.



My humble request to you is please look into the matter and resolve the issue.
It is not my fault that Airtel Customer service didn¿t cancel my connection
even after repeatedly asking them to.

I thought I will hear something from you however it seems that you do not have time for your customers.

Mean while I would like to update you that yesterday after writing a mail to you I got about 3 to 4 calls from your office & in the last call it was confirmed by Mr. Sanjeev Kumar [protected] who reports to Mr Mr Kunal Dhavan (Team Leader) that the two calls made to me were not from 30 Hazari Court or any Police Station and it was from a collection agencey.

I have also got the same information that Mobile Number [protected] belongs to some Mr Chandershekhar of Delhi Cantonment and not to some Vijay Rathore.

Torturing someone for just 1500 bucks up to this level is heard for the first time. As per the TRAI guidelines you have no rights to call some one's relatives for collection of amount. Your people have made threatening calls to my relatives. Please tell me how much amount should I ask your company to pay me for this insult.

You are not authorized to use any Government agency's, respected Court's name directly to collect amount from some one.

I do not know but after writing the mail to you your company has logged three complaints in your CRM 41212650, 41208944, 41208808 without any information provided to me.

Any ways........

I am writing again to close my account with the company & I do not want to use your services.
I again promise that I will never refer your services to my relatives & friends...................................... !
