Airtel Broadband — Billing and Shifting

I had shifted my residential premises and requested for connection to be relocated. Airtel did honour that in a few days time after receiving all documentatins. Unfortunately since 6 months i had been trying to get the address changed so that i can receive bills on time and nothing happend. I escalated to their escalation dept., but everytime it was a blanket promise that the bills will reach the same day and apologies... frustrated i disconnected. On top of this after disconnection, i got the bills and the courier representative was showing faces to my family which is the most irritating part. If companies cannot take care basic address update i wonder how they will handle technical problems!!!! God Bless Airtel!!

Airtel — Worst After sales services

I strongly recommend not to buy this Airtel DTH
The after sales service of online DTH is very poor. These people don't even brother to call on the committed time. Its the worst organization without any process. Knowledge level of help desk executives are very poor. They don't even allow us to speak to head of the department and nor the provide any escalation matrix till we loose our patience

I completely agree with Ranjith Shetty. Airtel has one of the worst customer service ever. I called airtel customer service on 8th Dec for add-on connection (HD-Recorder) and was promised that installation will be done the next evening(9th Dec 2011). Only on the commitment that it will be done on the next day did I go ahead with the payment via credit card. I waited till 6p next day before calling airtel for status update as i did not hear back from airtel nor anyone came for installation. On providing customer details and ref number[protected], I was told that they do not have set top box in stock and it will take longer and how longer no one has any freaking idea. Well on the contrary, when I was placing the order, they never told me abt the shortage in stock but kept promising on installation the very next day itself. The worst part however is, they don't even have a single responsible person/engineer who can speak english, who is willing to sort out the issue nor who is willing to help.When I asked to put someone responsible enough to make decision on the call, I was put on a long hold which hung up after 15 minutes. I called again and had the same @#$#$% experience. I am totally pissed with airtel service and again this not the first time, I am always promised that they will improve service next time, but it is always getting worst and not any better.

Airtel Broadband — Amount deducted but neither connection provided nor refund.

I have a complaint against Airtel Broadband.
Complaint is “ Airtel NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE NEW CONNECTION AND CLEAR MY CHEQUE AFTER 2 MONTHS of my request for new connection and not returned yet”

Brief Description of issue:

I have filled a request to provide me a broadband connection on Customer form number -2593239 on 12 Jan 2011after assurance from their sales executive that service is available in my area.

Later after a week there is no contact from Airtel then I contact the same sales person he informed that it is not possible a connection to me due to technical reasons.

After two month at the March 2011 end to complete their target they submitted the cheque. I provided along with the application form for clearance and it was cleared.

Then I contact again the same sales executive he told within 15 day will receive the DD for the refund of amount which was not received yet.

After that I send a mail to [protected]@airtel.in on[protected] and on that there are some mail exchange between me and Airtel.
After my mail on April 19, 2011 I got call from airtel that within 90 days I will receive my amount refunded but yet I haven’t received my refund.

Recently I request for the update on this issue but as usual no response from Airtel.


Please look into the matter and help me to get my money refund from Airtel.

Airtel Broadband — illegal Charging for deficient services

Dear Sir / Madam,

Greetings!!

NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN ON MY COMPLAINT. I am being billed for services that were either NEVER given or were deficient.Phone outgoing blocked EVEN AFTER PAYING ALL LEGITIMATE DUES.

Below please find Date wise details of complaint that started due to poor internet service (sequence of email have been shared with AIRTEL APPELLATE as well).

1) Calls and emails sent to to Ms. Sangita (AIRTEL customer service) informing her of poor internet speed on 19 & 23/Sept/2011.

2) Due to “DELAY in her response” and no action to correct deficient services, an email was sent on 25/Sept/2011 to customer care as well as Appellate.

3) Due to “FALSE ASSURANCES” of Ms. Sangita that “SHE is looking into the matter” I waited for a long time (ALMOST A MONTH WITHOUT ANY PROPER INTERNET SERVICE”). After that on 24/Oct/2011 an email was sent to Appellate and customer care with DETAILS and proof of poor internet service –This was done because Ms. Sangita was playing “HARASSMENT GAME”, "FRUSTRATE CUSTOMER WITH LONG DELAY" and not responding to customer complaints.

4) This led to long delay in any response from AIRTEL to resolve the issue. I have been harassed and denied proper service. This led to a situation that I am being made to pay for services that were either never there or were deficient and did not deserve payment.

5) On 24/Oct/2011 an email was sent to Appellate and customer care with DETAILS of proof of poor internet service –This was done because Ms. Sangita was playing “HARASSMENT GAME” (FRUSTRATE CUSTOMER WITH LONG DELAY) on behalf of AIRTEL without responding to customer complaints. THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM AIRTEL ON COMPLAINT dated “25 SEPT” and “24 OCT.” Instead of responding to complaints and correcting the deficient services “AIRTEL BLOCKED INTERNET SERVICE” ON 29/Oct/2011. Twice complaints were lodged with Appellate and customer care ALONG WITH PROOF OF EXTEREMELY POOR internet service.

6) Restored service on 30 Oct. BUT IT WAS DEFICIENT - Complaint was lodged on 31/Oct/2011.

7) THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM AIRTEL- ON 3/NOV/2011 A COMPLAINT WAS LODGED WITH AIRTEL & TRAI. The complaint also contained proof that AIRTEL WAS DELIBERATELY PLAYING WITH INTERNET SERVICE SPEED AND QUALITY.

8) AIRTEL blocked the outgoing services on 3/Nov/2011 to INCREASE HARASSMENT. Complaint was sent to AIRTEL and TRAI.

9) In total disregard to customer service AIRTEL BLOCKED INTERNET SERVICES ON 4TH Nov.

10) AFTER PURPOSEFUL DELAY, AIRTEL replied by email. REPLY was full of FALSEHOOD very cleverly covered by deliberate DELAYS IN RESPONDING SINCE 24TH OCT.

11) The falsehood was exposed AS THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO RECTIFY COSTOMER COMPLAINT BUT ONLY DEMAND FOR PAYMENTS.

12) There were complaints sent on 9/Nov and 12/Nov. Again there was no response by AIRTEL. After that there were only HARASSMENT phone calls and SMS.

13) Internet service was restored on 1 Dec. it was acknowledged on 3 Dec. – ALL DUES LEGITIMATE PAYMENTS WERE DONE & NO BALANCE WAS PENDING as on 6/Dec/2011 from previous bills.

14) EVEN AFTER Getting full payment for the offered services there was no action from AIRTEL to restore my outgoing service. A complaint was raised on 12 Dec and 16 Dec. 2011.

Airtel Broadband — Refund Cheque not received

I was applied for New Airtel Broadband connection on 29 August 2010.

Airtel agent told that Port is not available so we are in situation to give new connection.

Complaint number 6548152 was filed on 17 November 2011. But Airtel closed without delivering refund cheque

Again Complaint number 8706212 was filed on 13 December 2011. But Airtel again closed without delivering refund cheque

Now Complaint number 9674282 was filed on 2 January 2012.

The customer care representative give me the Consignment number CB2661523 for overnite courier to be delivered refund cheque.

But till now i have not received my refund cheque & unable to track CB2661523 on overnite website with error invalid consignment.

Over-nite representative[protected] told that they have 10 digit numbers only for tracking and CB2661523 is wrong.

Request you do the needful to get delivered my cheque.

Airtel Broadband — not reactivating

airtel is not reactivating my internet connection .....they told me that it take 7 days...to reactivate...i first complaint them on 17th december 2011.....now today is 5th january.....i have called them 5 times.....and every time they it takes 7 days....it have17 days now.....i want my account to be reactivated as soon as possible..... please contact me on [protected]@gmail.com

Airtel Broadband — WRONG POSTPAID BILL

I AMAN PRATAP SINGH ONLY USES THE BROADBAND 22 DAYS ( NO IS [protected]) AND STOP IT DUE TO ITS BAD SERVICES. COMAPNY MADE THE WRONG BILL AND SHOWING THE DUE AMOUNT 2448/-. I HAD ALREADY COMPLAINED IN CUSTOMER CARE FOR THIS MATTER AND URGE THEM THAT THEY GIVE THE GENUEN BILL AND DISCONNECT THE CONNECTION.
THEY GAVE ME THE COMPLAIN NO 40854089. AND TODAY CUSTOMER CARE CALL ME FOR DUE PAYMENT.

The airtel people are not transferring my connection for last 4 month and are telling us that airtel facility in not available at my new address. All my naighbours are using Airtel facilities. The airtel 2-3 marketing people are approaching us daily for new connection with promise to put new connaction within a day while the shifting department is telling us that airtel facilities are not availble in my locality.

It seems to be a propaganda developed by senior executives of Airtel to sell new connections with higher monthly rentals and to harass customers with lower rental plans so that they buy new connection and leave the older connection so that company may get more revenues.

Airtel Broadband — Negligence and tomersIgnorance in Serving Cups

Hi,
This is in reference to my application number 464322 which is for the Airtel Internet Broadband Connection.
I have applied for the connection last Saturday with Rs. 1699 plan of TURBO 75 which I paid while applying for it.

Now here is the problem am facing. They came to my place to install the connection in the afternoon when I was in the office.
As informed by them I requested my Team Lead and came back to my room by evening 5:30 p.m. so that they will instal the connection, where as i suppose to work till evening 8:30 p.m.

When I called after reaching, the connection people started playing with words ignoring my call and giving me excuses that they won't be able to come now.
Talked to customer care but they said they cannot do anything in this regard.
Now that person who has taken money from me is not picking my calls despite of my numerous calls.

I was suppose to work from my room for the office work, which is noway i can and have to go to office now.

It seems that Airtel is taking the benefit of its monopoly.
Is anybody answerable to this?

Internet plan — Service not given against of money taken

I paid 98 rs for one month internet plan of 3 GB but same service not recd till date.
No Response from Reliance cust centre & from cust care also even i called number of times.

I requested a customer service agent on August month end to cancel my subscription as I moved by August month end but he said that they can ship to my new address but requested me to clear my balance due.

I cleared my balance and requested for shipping on September 3rd and they never came back. On September 15th I called them and they said that they cant ship to the new address as they do not have feasibility for that place. So, I requested for cancellation.

On September month end I got a call from Airtel stating that they can ship for free of charge with the same phone number and again they said that they do not have feasibility.

But I got bills for every month even though I didn't use their service. Now they say that I have a due of Rs.3500.

I contacted their customer service manager yesterday and he said that you can email to airtel customer care. Then what is the purpose of him in a call center???????

Why dont you(Airtel) guys listen to the calls which I made from August month????????? Why should I pay when the service is not used? And why dont you cancel the service when you can not ship the connection to new address?????

hi my land line phone is not working in past two days. i cant able to see any display and land line keys are also not working only incoming call is coming if i attend the incoming call means other side person cant able to hear my voice i cant able to dial any of out going calls........ my land line no is[protected]
