The below response does not resolve my query; Do you mean to say that if one orders a shoe worth Rs. 4999 he might even get a shoe worth half the price??? I had placed an order for a shoe worth Rs. 4999 (Roller Coaster - White Color) but received a very low end model (Literide) that too in Green color; no one would ever pick this shoe even it is offered for free. Please stop sending standard response from your email template; arrange to send any color of the model that I had ordered (Roller Coaster) at the earliest. INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB/ BAG IT TODAY — Delay in delivering product and Refund for the cancelled product

Sir,
My Name is Hemant Patil. On 14th of April 2010 i recieved a call from India today bookclub saying that i am the lucky winner of some contest and if i purchase products from India Today book club i will recieve Cash price Rs.30000/- along with the booked product. So i booked two products
1. Samsung Super mobile (Rs.12498/-) booking I.D.[protected]
and 2. Phillips Home Theatre (Rs.5198/-) booking I.D.[protected]
by making the payment through credit card.
After two days when i called to customer care, i understood that there is no such cash price award along with the booked product. I rejected the Parcel of 1st product as told by the customer executive for refund. The parcel was recieved by India today back on 25th may 2010, today is 26th July 2010, but still i have not recieved the refund of the 1st product after several follow ups through mail or by phone. Now since 2 weeks i am getting no reply to mails.
When i enquire about the 2nd product (Phillips Home Theatre) which i have still not recieved while my money was deducted on 15th April 2010, the regular reply that i am getting is that your order is not punched in our database. Does it takes to 4 months to punch a order?
I am truely frustrated with the service of India today book club. Near about 4 months have passed but still i am waiting for the refund and product.

I FEEL THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON COMPLAINING ABOUT LIVING MEDIA. MY BROTHER HAD RECEIVED A CALL FROM LIVING MEDIA INFORMING THAT HE HAD WON A SAMSUNG CAM SMX-20 AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE ALONG WTIH A PHILIPS HOME THEATER AND DVD PLAYER. EVEN THOUGH HE DID NOT HAVE A CREDIT CARD HE WAS ALLOWED TO USE SOME OTHER CARD.

ACCRODINGLY HE MADE A PURCHASE ORDER SAMSUNG CAM AND WAS ALSO OFFERED A GIFT VOUCHER OF SURAT DIAMONDS FOR RS. 598 ON 04.08.10. HE COMPLETED THE TRANSACTION WITH THE HELP OF MY CREDIT CARD.

AS SOON AS THE TRANSACITON WAS COMPLETE I RECEIVED AN ALERT FROM ICICI BANK THAT THERE WERE THREE TRANSACTIONS DONE. ON CHECKING WITH HIM HE INFORMED ME THAT HE HAD DONE ONLY TWO TRANSACTIONS.

I IMMEDIATELY CALLED UP LIVING MEDIA/BAG IT TODAY WHO INFORMED ME THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY DETAILS.

ON CONTINOUSLY FOLLOWING UP WITH THEM THEY HAVE CONFIRMED THE FOLLOWING DETAILS.

If they send it by Bluedart, why should it take 1-2 weeks for delivery? I wonder if BD guys would be carrying it on their back and sending someone on foot by road for the delivery ;-)

Just for information...You get delivery within 2 days anywhere in India using Bluedart!!!

Before 4 months i got call from bagit. They were calling me everyday to purchase their products with new offers like jwellary vouchers.

I have purchased some of products and pay them by my creditcard. After few days i have tried to contact them about status of order. All are disappeared now. No one is giving answers of my questions.

I wrote 100 mails to them I got always formality answer.
"We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.With reference to your mail we would like to inform you that we have already forwarded your complain to our concerned department and we are following the matter with them. We request you to kindly wait for few days. We will do the needful soon. We appreciate your patience and hope that you shall bear with us in the interim.

I got an SMS from Bag It Today stating that there is some special offer wherein I can get a Bata Bag for Rs 1300 odd and was also mentioned that I'll get Vouchers worth Rs 7000 which I can redeem to buy Air Tickets so I replied to that message. About 2 weeks later they sent a Parcel to my House without even calling or confirming about the Offer. Since I was not at Home at that time and my friend was there at Home he accepted the Parcel and paid the money. When I came home he informed me about this so I opened the Parcel and found a Book and a Bag for which they charged me Rs1300 whereas it is hardly worth Rs 200 - 300 and there was an Invoice on which it was mentioned that to claim my free air tickets I need to go to a particular website so I logged on to the website and registered here and then they asked me to call on a number to claim the Tickets. I called that number and I was asked to pay Rs 7000 to claim my free Air Tickets worth Rs 7000. I seriously fail to understan that what kind of free tickets are these and why do they give misleading information. After that I called them on the Customer Care Number and they asked me to send an email for returning that and geting my money back so I snet that email but have not heard anything from them after that.

I would request you to look into this at the earliest as it seems they are running some kind of Scam and I'm still getting those SMS and Emails which are very misleading.

I haved ordered for welcome gift giving rs299 for reebok watch when i was in New DELHI ON 26JUL2010 WITH ORDER NO[protected].THEY SAID THE PRODUCT WILL arrive my address within 2 weeks.After 15days i contacted to them, they said to contact aramex courier . i contacted aramex, they said the product will be delivered on august first week.after that i call to aramex n bagittoday many times.everytime they said the product will deliver to my delhi address. on 16aug2010, i again contacted bagittoday they said the product will be delivered to my place before 6pm as i am leaving that day.after that i came to karnataka, and send them to send the product to my new address of karnataka.After that they said the product is on its way and will deliver the product in my new place.10days passed but i never receive the product.everytime i contacted bagittoday they said the product will arive my place.after i send emails i got no replies from them.today i contacted bagittoday customercare, they put hold me for 6minutes n disconnected my call.also when i ask where is their office, they said they can't reveal their office.i spent lot of money contacting them as the number is not toll free n i was to call std calls

Agree 100% with all the above complaints. Bag it today is a fraudulent online Co. created by a reputed brand (India Today) to cheat online customers.

This is to inform you that I have not recd the said gift; Please arrange to send the same immediately.

The Bata shoe ordered for looks old & second hand & was covered with dust.
Further, the other gifts received with the order were substandard in quality - The sipper leaks & the key ring of the wallet & key chain set is rusted.

Then i canceled my product on 31st july. while canceling my product that time they told that within 21 days you will received your amount but still i didnot received.Every day i calling to customer care but they are telling that we are forwarding to concern department with 21 days you will recieved amount.Bag it today cheating to everybody. Bag It Today — Dispatching me wrong parcel 03 times

I had ordered Reebok Shoes Size:10 on phone thet too they had called me. I received shoes but of size:08. They told me that on order it is written size:08, so asked me to return it to Bag It Today for getting size:10 Shoes. I couriered the parcel & they assured me that they will send me Size:10 shoes. Again, they delvered the size:08 shoes. Again, I redispatched the pacel to Bag it Today & now, again I m reeiving the shoes with Size:08.
The shoes price is 1198 Rs. but, I have spent 300 Rs. on returning the parcel back to them.They people really don't take anything seriuosly.My order No. is:0GA[protected], I feel that I made a big mistake by ordering shoes to Bag It Today.
