[Resolved]  Hindustan Lever Ltd - Pure It Water Filter — Request for battery change

Have been requesting for changing the battery in the Pure - it water filter. The service engineer has been calling me for the last one week to say that he is coming in the evening to do the job.

But the person doesnot turn up in the evening, with the result we need to wait for him at home.

We now repent for having purchased this product of Hindustan Lever Limited, which has a very very bad service back-up team.
This attitude of the engineer is totally ...totally frustating.

I would like to inform that whosoever wants to buy this product of HLL, pls dont go by the company name. You will be buying peace if you dont venture to buy.

Pure It — against battery and carbon

sir,
i am the regular user of pure it, for last six month there is problem ia facing is that was a problem in battary and carbon, i need to clean the carbon daily, that is the great difficulties i am facing it in day today life, i went to nearest dealer and asked for the details about it , i was in,t satisfied for the answer i got, so i filed in call center, but no response, so i filled in it i hope you will take necessary step,
and another problem is that was, battary i am regular user of pure it, but i din,t found any indication after usage for four month,
i din,t feel it is saffer for it, but you are challanging for one crore

so i need answer for the the question, what i asked for

I have taken pure it water filter in october 2010.but in 4 months i am trubling problem of battery.I also tried 2 cal customer care of maharashtra division.But they take more time to receive our call.so kindly suggest another way 2 contact customer care.

These Pureit manufacturer's should realize that the customer believe in them.

I had bought a peurit just 3 months back and it has started leaking form the bottom chamber, I gave the complaint and the service person came to our house after regular follow-ups and said that i have change the battery, accordingly he changed the battery and did full service, and the leakage stopped.
After 6 weeks, now the leakage has once again started, i have given complaint couple no of times and the service people has not taken into cognisence.
It is really frustrating,
I really advice people not to fall prey like us.
We had made a request for change of battery kit on 11.03.2010 order number as S10/PUM[protected], abt which received a call saying that they r in shortage of kit, and would call again. Again on 20.03.2010 a complaint was made about the same for whih we were assured that they would do the needful as soon as possible, viz complaint number aws-C[protected]. Still today no one has turned up for the replacement. We are surprised that a company like HLL are always shortage of battery kit then what is the ponit selling the filters when they are not able to suffice the requirement of their existing clients.

I have lodged the battery replacement request personally on 25/03/2010 in the morning and already replaced the battery and paid money to the distributor.

Sir after battery replaced in Water Pure It, the water does not come in the Jar even though upper tank is full of water. I have constantly follow ups with Mr.Govind since last afternoon on his mobile [protected], every time he has given me wrong committment to sort out the simple problem. Also his attitude to speak with the customers is very bad / poor.

Now sir what I have to do? There is no any other local number in Vadodara city at your distributo's end so I suffered lot of problems like above.

Please sort out the matter.

Pureit Water Filter — bad behavior of office person

I purchased Hindustan Pureit in august 07 and it was working ok for the two years.
Later as the indicator was showing red to replace battery, it was changed with a cost of Rs.365 in the month of Sept 09 and now there is leakage in battery.By inquiring in Pureit office on 01.04.2010 I knew that the battery was auto-switched.now the cost of new set of battery is Rs.510.I requested him to give me Rs.365 worth set.But according to officeman Rs.365 worth set is over.Was he saying true.
Why is this happening?
yes im totally agree with the above comments..bcz im also facing the same problem from the last two months..for my hll purit. i stongly suggest not to buy it at any cost..

Similar Problem for me, It is really disappointing from HLL Pure it. for a request on germ kill battery kit. After several frustrating attempts to Pure it call center, Finally call center AVR system confirmed order that it will deliver with in 3 days. So far No one from didn't turn up from Pure it.

I didn't expect such a bad service from reputed company like HLL.

I request Cosumer court to invene and remove monoplyof HLL to remove Germ Kill kits.
they r justworst in order of providing services they should be sued in consumer court

I have lodged the battery replacement request on 11/05/2010 and I was told
that the battery will be replaced within 24 hours, but after 8 days nobody has turnup to replace the same. I reminded them on 17/05/2010 and I was told, person will visit within one working day but again the samestory. Today i.e.
19/05/2010 once again I called their office and I got the same answer.
