[Resolved]  Honda Shine — Poor Service and Customer Care

My Name is Madhu Babu k, I have Purchased a Honda shine (Geny Grey ) two wheeler Vehicle on[protected] from SRI KANAKA DURGA Honda , # 40-1-130, M.G.Road, Vijayawada - 520010, Tel:[protected],
while driving i have observe that my Fork wheel is rotating very hard , immediately i rushed to service center and asked them adjust that, but they responded like all these problems will be addressed at the time of 1st service (which is a first free service will be done after 750km of ride ), so they are asking me drive the vehicle as it is up to 750km and come for service, if i drive the vehicle as it is Certainly it leads accident,
The guys at show room and service center are not at all responding properly, they are talking in a very arrogant way,
can u please suggest me how can i get justice for this

We booked for shine, in april, and paid 1000 rupees,
Then after 2 months they called us and forced us to pay the full amount without allotting vehicle, we paid 20000 rupees,
Who made this rule to pay the full amount before 45 days of allotting the vehicle,
Honda giving very very bad service to their customers in Vijayawada,
The vehicles are good but your service is very bad,
We ask you to correct these issues to improve the service,

I am sundaram, my contact no, is [protected]. On 6th of August, 2011 I left my vehicle Honda Shine TN 10 T 8847 in KUN Honda Service Centre, Ashok Nagar, Chennai for servicing. The complaint was some hard noise was coming from the chain while riding the vehicle. One of their service persons (Aravind) who was instructed to attend the vehicle neither started the vehicle nor opened the chain guard to check the problem informed the supervisor Shri Janakiraman that the chain sprocket was worn out and the same had to be replaced by a new one which cost around 850/-. When I questioned how can he tell without attending the complaint in a proper way Shri Janakiraman assigned the work to another person called Basker. He checked thoroughly and told that there is no problem with the Sprocket but with one of the chain links. Another complaint lodged by me was clattering sound is coming from the place of tail light while riding.
I took the vehicle only on 9th August as they bargained time to get the chain link. They had rectified the problem of chain by changing the link which was earlier reported as sprocket problem. Otherwise, I would have been unnecessarily forced to spend around Rs.1, 000 towards the cost of sprocket and labour due to the irresponsible attitude of the Service person.
As the vehicle was delivered only at 11 'O' clock and I was in a hurry to go to my office I took the vehicle immediately and left. While riding the vehicle to my office I found that the horn was not working properly, self starter was not working, clattering sound from brake light had not been corrected. I informed the Supervisor about these problems. He asked me to bring on another day. Today when I took the vehicle Shri Janakiraman, Supervisor was not available. Instead someone named Deon who was acting on his behalf asked Mr.Don to attend. He opened the battery unit and told the battery to be replaced. When I told him to rectify the tail light problem he behaved in a rude way and ordered me to go and wait in the waiting room. The person who initially reported that my vehicle had the sprocket problem joined with him and intimidated me. I questioned him how he made wrong diagnosis to change the sprocket he became furious and the acting supervisor also joined with him shouting that I should leave the place immediately. So I asked them to close the battery unit and hand over the vehicle to me.
If the persons working in a reputed concern are behaving like rogues to customers and misguiding them just think of innocent customers. If action is not taken on these persons your company will lose lot of customers in the near future.

Time n Sound — Bad customer service

On 28th August 2011, I purchased a Telugu movie DVD from Time 'N' Sound situated in 85/A, Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar. After purchase, when I asked for the bill the, the person sitting at the billing counter refused to provide the bill. When I asked for the reason, he replied with a rude behavior showing some baseless reason.
I have experienced such poor customer service at the same place twice before also.
Stay away from such place.

I have bought a new Honda shine bike in the month of Sep 10 (OR-19-K-2181). I have problem that the air filter cover has damaged by mouse. That part is not available in our local dealer and they could not speek properly when the part will come. May i know sir, why the supply of parts of honda is not sufficient like other?

Therefore i request u, plz take necessary action on my complaint as soon as possible.

Honda Shine — BRAKING OF ENGINE CHAMBER

In November 1st,2010,I have purchased a Honda shine motorcycle.
In December,2010,in accident,my motorcycle's engine left side crankshaft was broken,
and I have been complained, in our near by honda showroom,and i have been claimifor this in insurance also,but nobody is taking it into their consideration.
Here in bhubaneswar,the showroom name is Ggunani,Please do something for this, so that I'll be benefited.
I am Amit Pawar - Asst Manager working in Mahindra & Mahindra, Ltd, Nasik(Maha.) in Plant Quality Dept and owning Honda Shine bike (Ch No ME4JC36CJA8102969 and eng No JC36E2149047). I tempted to buy this bike knowing the high quality standard set by Honda for the Quality in spite lots of option available in the market.

I procured this prestigious Honda Shine in Oct’10 and since I brought this bike, facing the tremendous Quality problem with it.
From day one bike having Vibration at and above 50 km, Gear sometimes not engaged at 3rd Gear and some times neutral at 3rd gear during running as you are aware it is very high severity issue related to my safety and customer satisfaction point of view . My bike is not getting started by operating self start button, as if it is showpiece attached on the handle.

Also Fuel flap having loose fitment and I strongly feel it is one of the cause of low fuel efficiency. Since my bike given avg about 40km/ltr only as against company specified avg value. I have already shown the subject bike to Sachi Honda, a dealer of Honda in Nashik, many times but after 3/4 days problem occurs again .At my fifth servicing, Handle balancing issue was referred to dealer for rectification, the reason Bearing boll of handle got damaged . As I am running this bike only for 15 km daily on a good road condition for office purpose . it’s question of durability of the parts of Honda as the failure comes at very low kms and at fifth servicing. I guess the problem was there much before the 5th serving.

I am experiencing the breakdown of this bike quite often during last 6 months because of above said quality problems although regular servicing are done at Honda Dearship only. It causes a lot of inconvenience to me. So I am planning to return back this bike to Honda Showroom, as I am fade up with the engine & transmission problems.

I am bringing all these serious issue to your notice to seek your attention & help in the matter, otherwise there will not be any option left for me than to return the bike to the company.

I hope you will look into it with sympathy and understand my concerns from customer centricity point of view.

Poor Service and Customer Care

I have taken a HONDA SHINE motor bike from pratham honda at kancheepuram tamil nadu.

Last 2 month I hav given my bike for servicing and the reasoning of self start is not working. the service engineer says battery warrenty will be cover with in 2 weeks and send to the battery exide company.

It is taking along time to giving to the customer and as well as to the all.

Now also I didn't get any response.i will contact many more number in pratham honda show room.like([protected], [protected], [protected])

Customer Care is also been very bad in sense.

I have purchase honda shine bike on 24.04.2011 Mahamaya Automobile, Ambikapur (CG). And taken two free service timely. Now my bike has completed 5500 km. From few days some noise is coming from chain sprocket which is indication of worn out of chain and sprocket.Secondly the front disc brake is also making noise which is sign to change the shoe . My bike is single handed and keeping is very good then how it is possible of such complaints. I wanted to take up the matter to company for necessary remedy because my bike is just new.In my opinion it is a poor quality part problem. i needed help in this regard.

I am P.Balamurugan form Madurai, TamilNadu .I am working in state government . My colleague got Departmental loan for purchasing HONDA SHINE.Similarly our department staff got Quotation last month. for 10 members of our department scheme.
One of our staff Mr.J.Manavalan have paid full amount Rs 60 425 in LAKSHMI HONDA, Madurai .Now, Lakshmi honda said that they will allot only one vehicle to customer and also they said that is their policy .

They will not allow the customer to choose vehicle for the customer satisfaction.

We know that HONDA is the NO. 1 in the automobile filed in the world. But this type of distributor, we have decided to purchase motor bike from other companies.

We want to know that one bike showing to customer is the HONDA policy or Distributor's policy.

So, Kindly look into the matter to solve this problem of customer satisfaction.

Honda Shine — wrong details in sell letter

I was brought honda shine in oct2011,in documentation they given wrong details in RTO about chassis no.
I was many times remind them but they did'nt taken action about it.now they told me we are trying to make new sell letter after that u have to pay in RTO for new RC.
I want to say that its all mistak happen by their negligency than why they told me u have to pay.

I am srinivas Goud. last week I was given a complaint againest about my bike service problems regarding silencer giving vary sound of Shine which running on 16000 Kms. today i recieved a call from service center NARMADA HONDA, Mahabuhbnagar. Andgrapradesh.They given me quick responce and to said for a visit with my bike.i am feeling satisfatory about quick responce.

hi i purchased new honda shine bike from bangalore honda show room(OMR indiranagar), after a 20 days i gave my bike to first free service to same(OMR indiranagar), but after completion of first service, the engine is getting over heating, at just 2 to 3 km running, if i tell to that manager he is telling it will happens in all honda shine bike, i gave three time to same service center but helpless & useless, nothing got repaired, pls consider my complaint & resolve my issue, & I gave to other service center, but same helpless,

Keerthi Honda — I am not satisfied with your service

Hi,

I went twice to hand over my vehicle for service. They did not take my vehicle as they have taken so many vehicles already. There is very poor response from the service centre. This is not the first time, it happened many times.

Because of that I could not get the service done for the third free service.
