[Resolved]  HP Customer Care — theft by hp customer care centre and wrong part replacement.

I have hp 2122tu notebook pc which has a light scribe dvd dual layer writer(model DS-8AZH 03C) and 512 mb Samsung ram by default.( which I have upgraded to 1.5 gb by adding 1 gb transient ram)
Recently I gave my laptop for dvd rom replacement at Precision informatics pvt ltd. Mumbai division.
The mechanics or workers( ya that’s true because they don’t deserve to be called as engineer)
Ppl replaced my rom at 6500/- and give a rom which was a + dvd writer without light scribe. I recognized this and argued for replacement and original writer as per specification of 2122tu notebook. So after lot of negotiation he replaced that rom with some +- supporting mitashi ram (without light scribe that found out latter). by thinking that least I can read and write disk so I give extra 500/- and took off laptop. After coming home I installed vista and then I found out that it was showing my ram as 512 mb only. And so opened notebook ram panel, and I was shocked as there was just one module of ram and that too of hynix which I never bought for my laptop.
So it’s clear that ‘Precision informatics pvt ltd. Mumbai division’ has stolen my original ram and replaced it with hynics 512 ram.

I had purchased Compaq Presario SR5240IL( S/N INA747OGFH) Desktop PC in Januaary 2008 from M/s. Bhalla Computers, Hardwar. At that time there was an offer of gift for Rebok Sunglasses with the product. When I purchased the Desktop, I was staying at Hardwar. Now, I we have shifted to Aligarh. I have not yet received the gift. Though I had received the SMS in my Mobile No. that the sunglasses have been despatched to me the same has neither been delivered to me nor to the vendor with whom I have been in regular touch. i am using hp compaq 6710b laptop at home only. so i have to use every time with ac power or with battery only. which one is the best condition for long battery life. my use is 5 hours daily.
i had also purchased a hp pavilion dv5 series notebook laptop in november its battery backup was just 30-35 minutes . i went to hp customer center there they checked it and says thet the battery is faulty it will be replaced in 3-4 days .now it is more than a month they had not replaced my battery and says its not avialiable in hp store

i have two printers that model number 2015d. but both are duplex prienting paper jam.i perched 13 september 2008.this is in guranteey period . taht serial number cncjf37265 and cncjf37811.
I think HP should now stop making laptops. I had given my laptop for servicing one month ago and still whenever i ask them when they are going to give my laptop they are having only reply "Sir we are yet to recieve the sparepart". Even when i ask them the higher management contacts they will behave irresposibly. Even what i have figured out is ANY HP/COMPAQ LAPTOP MANUFACTURED IS BOUND TO HAVE MAJOR PROBLEMS WITHIN ONE YEAR. So please all those who are planning to purchase a laptop please do not go for this brand.

According to customer care representative Mr.Sammer from Delhi, I have deposited a cheque worth 6000/-Rs. against the two year warranty extension of my laptop p/n GX863PA#ACJ.s/n CNF737085F.My cheque no. is 053763 from SBI Darbhanga city branch in the a/c of RT OUTSOURCING SERVICES LTD. In ICICI Bank in Darbhanga on[protected] .which has been credited into the very same a/c on[protected].But till now I haven't got any information about the recieving and extension of warranty coverage.Pls inform me as soon as possible.

i bought hp pavilion dv2000 laptop on sep2008, from the begining i am not satisfied with its performance.
It is very slow startup not supporting important programs such as java. even though i am a computer sceince student i felt lot of difficulties working with this. the inbuilt os vista was locked i cant change other os. i contact the hp servicce centre but they are very irresponsible. that one is the worst experience i had. can anyone tell the good service centre in trichy, and i want to change my vista os, pls tell wher can i change?
I am an Engineer working in Abudhabi. I purchased one hp pavilion dv4-1225ee entertainment note book from jumbo Electronics Abudhabi. I brought it in India and when i start using the unit...i was not able to recover its software. Company did not supply me the recovery disc.

I purchased this only 2 weeks before paying Rs 50, 000.

I tried to contact the hp offices in Delhi, Cochin, Trivandrum...but no one is attending the phone.
I send mails..no response.

I think hp has the most useless customer care system in India.

When I contacted the Abudhabi office...they demands Rs 6000 for a recovery CD for this newly purchased lap top !!! just 2 weeks old...i have not yet used it...Excellent customer care and service !!!

I advice all my friends...never go for an hp product...if you wish to get some after sale service for your unit.

The most useless and irresponsible service sytem is there in HP.
