[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

I THINK WE MUST PROCEED TO CONSUMER COURT COLLECTIVELY AND TEACH THEM A LESSON THAT IT IS INDIA
See again I have spoken with Mr Monti who is supposed to be at Sr. Level 4 days ago to his cell, replied me that it will get done within short time and refered me to some Mr Sharma from IFB only - his subordinate assured me day before yesterday that my Sr mechanic will come to you and will solve the problem and noted down my address etc. also, today I spoke with support and she replied me that we have not received any complaint from you and we just now rcd. your mail - WHAT A POOR SERVICE LEVEL
We are having IFB machine since 2002, when we discarded the videocon. Machine started giving problems and has not been attended to. Then their engineer recommended to the new Elite model. We bought the new machine storing the old model for which the engineers recommend change of drum.
The second machine installed in 2007, has had been repaired 2/3 times. But for the last two months it is not working and the mechanic have informed spares have to be changed. The spare is available for one day and not on another. Thet keep promising that the machine will be put to working condition today / tomorrow etc. But various persons at different heirarachy have been making false promises and the machine is still not in working condition now for about 2 months, despite numerous complaints to the call centre, Area Service engineer, Sales depot, IFB office cum godown. Most of the time they do not answer and when on line give only blank promises. It is hightime that somebody takes a serious actionagainst all such companies who ask you to sign on AMC contracts, take the money and enjoy leaving the consumer to seek pains and reliefs with itself and the machine occupying space of a very costly house.
I am a new victim to the irresponsible and horrible attitude of the IFB People towards their customers once their product is sold..

The after-sell consumer service of this company is pathetic..

For the last 10 days, i have just been made to call to many places and people for my IFB dishwasher (Zephyr EX).. most of these numbers were either not in order or were not picked up by their people..

I have even called up their number[protected] atleast 5-6 times since then.. and was given a ticket no.2419205 (dtd 13th Nov, 2008).. but nothing has been done so far.. no one has cared to attend to my complaint..
These people should know that their responsibility doesnt end with providing a ticket no.. They have to value their customers and try to address their issues..

You cant fool people like this for long..

IFB Front loading — complaint not attended

i have front loading ifb washing machine. i have taken AMC of that. i had lodged a complaint on 10th sept. no 2210898 regarding top problem. on 11th sept technician came and changed it, but there was sum problem in th lock so the door was not adjusted properly. tech came 2 times again but the problem was still there. i again lodged a complaint on 22nd sept but till date no one turned up.
pls look into the matter else i have to contact consumer forum for this.

We stay in Mumbai. My washing machine is out of order since 13 Nov 2008. We had lodged a complaint on the same day . We have been following up daily wth their service personnel. They assure us but do not turn up. We have talked to various people including Lakshmi, Ehsan Malik, his Assistant. The complaint no is 2416377. The worst part is that we have taken AMC. What is the use. What can I do ?

Please do not buy IFB. Our experience has been really bad.
Sir, I have purchased Digital 6 KG washing M/c from Vijay sales Vashi. I complainted for getting vaibration of my M/c. 3 or 4th Nov, your Delight services, Vashi representative Mr.Sumeet ([protected])attend our complaint, and he is advice us to fix Trolly stand with our m/c. And we also agreed his words and order him that trolly stand. On 6th Nov 2008 he brought the same and fixed with our m/c. Sir after that the vaibration was increased. We called him to complained the same, but he is not responding to us. I think they only tring to make money from the customers, giving false advices with your products. So Sir if any further damages accured with our maching that will be full responsible of your service people. Sir kindly arrange right service personnel to me and inspect my machine and do the needful with your personnel attention. If you are sending your service personnel, please inform me on my [protected], [protected] and take prior appointment with me, and do the service infront of me.

I have purchased IFB Elina Dx wahing machine on 27.10.2008 from NEXT retail shop, 10-1-25, Asilmetta Jn., Near RTC complex, Visakhapathnam - 530 003 A.P, India (Tel[protected] BILL NO. 0303098 / 27.10.08and took delivery on 7th November'2008. IFB service technician attended for commissioning of the equipment and sold us Stand, cover & tap connection for Rs.1690/- and he started the unit & with in 5 min he left. While opening the packing no papers i.e. User manual, Warranty card etc., are found. Later we tried to use the washing machine and found many complaints in the machine. Later on we have repeatedly contacted IFB service but nobody bothered to provide us prompt services. Twice I have personally visited IFB office and picked up their service technicians and shown the machine to them. Finally they confirmed that there is probblem with the machine and the MCU(Motor Control Unit) got burnt due to which the machine is not performing. We are pretty sure that this problem is persisting with the machine from the day one but IFB technicians tried to hide the fact and managed. This machine was originally supplied to us with problem persisting. We are very much up happy & dis-satisfied with the aftersales support from IFB and we never expected such a negligent services from a World reputed brand of IFB status.

WE NOW DEMAND FOR REPLACEMENT FOR THE TOTAL UNIT WITH OUT ANY FURTHER DELAY AND COMPENSATION OF TIME & MONEY LOST BY US DURING THIS WHOLE PROCESS.

We do not mind going to any extent to recover the loss from IFB. WE REQUIRE POSITIVE & PROMPT ACTION WITH IN 24 HRS FROM NOW...

IFB - Washing Machine(Senorita) — Entire Digital System is not working.

Four months before we purchased the brand new IFB Senorita fully automatic Washing Machine at NEXT Showroom in West Tambaram. It is in good condition for a week then after we faced some problems in the machine including digital system it didnt work properly. We decide to inform the show room people they send the service people and give the temporary solution but the problem is not rectified then after we informed several times but the solution is same service people came and gave the solution for that time only, no one give the permanent solution.We don't know where we go and ask regarding the warranty, the machine is only four months old . We know only the show room people only.We need the problem is recitified for permanently otherwise the replace the machine.So pls look into the matter and give the proper response immediately.

IFB Exicutive Plus — broken

I had purchaised a IFB Washing Machine From Kuruvithadam Palai on 21 Feb 2008. While instaling the Machine it was found to be broken or damaged and water was simply flowing out. The shope send me a technition (Joby) and he repired it. Though I had asked them to replace the product they did not. Now The complaint is there again and the Machine is not functionig at all. I brought it because of the IFB mark. But I was cheated. This actually questions the credibility of IFB. So I here by request you to replace the product within two or three days. IFB WASHING MACHINE — Service Engineer not attending

Complaint registere do on 08.11.08. Ticket No. is 2401416. Problem not rectified even after 20 days. What a poor response. You are forced to go to Consumer Forum.
My IFB w/m is just over a year old and within that period i had a whole lot of problems both with the machine and more so with the service. Immediately after the one year pewriod i was hounded for the AMC and in all my innocence i thought AMC service would be better. I am having a valve problem with the machine for the last one month and no action from their side. I told them to atleast let me know if they are unable to do it. Absolutely no response. I am disgusted. I very strongly recommend that nobody go in for IFB products please anymore
My IFB washing machine (Model Diva)is under warranty and I have been reportingof is problem for the last one week. The complaint No. is 2455983. We also have a microwave of IFB make which became faulty immediately after warranty period. Repair charge quoted was higher than the price of new mcrowave ovn of similar capacity. It appears that IFB products are of poor quality and the list of complaints indicate its approach towards its customers. License to such compnies for manufactureshould be cancelled to avoid loss to the country.

I am a resident of anna nagar chennai .I have been contacting Mr. Ramesh for servicing my machine for the past three months.He gave me the address of another service centre at alwarpet but in spite of repeated calls no one is attending.If the spare parts are available in the market please inform or else send someone to repair. The machine costed around 22000 & service is so poor.

I would like to forewarn prospective buyers of IFB products.Please don't buy an IFB product.You would be doomed as the IFB personnel don't care for the customers.
I have made the cardinal mistake of buying an IFB W/Machine and am being harassed by the IFB personnel They tell lies and could'nt care less for customers.The whole IFB mechanism seems to be fraudulent.Please beware of them.

IFB/ washing machine — no service although under AMC

I have registered a complaint with the customer care of IFB and the docket no. issued is 2409151 on 21 Nov 2008. I am also under AMC and I have been issued a receipt cum invoice from IFB
bearing no. 4307 dt. 7 June 2008.
I have contacted the local office at Visakhapatnam and addressed
the issue with one Mr. Phanindra but there has been no action on the same. I have made several calls but no action has been taken . They had finally come to check up and they had completely
dismantled the whole washing machine and informed that the tub has to be replaced. This was about 7 days ago. At this stage when nobody was responding we got the no. of the Branch head of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Leo...he just refuses to pick up his mobile .Please help us resolve this issue

IFB Washing Machine — Leakage of Water through the front glass Door

My IFB Washing machine Exe Model Serial No:23240.

On 27/11/08 vide complain No:2469841 I have made a complain that the washing machine glass door is badly leaking. The very next day your technician came to our premises and operated the machine. He assured us that there is leakage. Yet when we put on the Washing machine the next day the same type of water gushing out of the door was observed. Following this I again complained and made several calls on the various cell numbers but till date no one has come to attend the fault. .
Yesterday they have issued a fresh complain number today No:2499876. Also they promised that fault will be attended by 14:00 today. Till now 12.30hrs.
