INDIA POST SPEED POST - Non delivery of important documents

I sent a very important document by speed post to Purdue University, USA on 23/04/2008 from Silchar Post office (Pin: 788 001). Unfortunately however, the document has not been delivered till 06.05.2008 (as per the confirmation received from
the university). It seems that the Department of Post is not serious enough to ensure proper customer service. May I request the concerned department to look into the matter and let me know the status immediately?

Sub: Complaint against wrong entry/ mistake by some of your staff.

We would like to bring the following factors to your kind notice:

• No need to mention that NYAYABHOOMI, B-24, Vikram Nagar, Feroz Shah Kotla, New Delhi, sends its all mail through Speed Post which contains important documents. Our staff frequently visit to your post office in this regard located at ITO. There were certain employees at the window (do not know their name but do remember their description) who were extremely rude and did not want to help our staff at all. While preparing the receipt of the parcels our staff noticed that the sender’s as well as addressee’s name he was entering in the receipt was wrong. Our person even requested them to make the correct entries of the sender’s name, addressee, etc, on the receipt being issued by the post office against respective packets but they flatly refused to take a note of his request & correct the mistake. THIS IS A SERIOUS FAULT OF YOUR STAFF which can compel us to take necessary action from our end, including RTI. In the past also your staff often told our person that he do not have time to entertain our problems. (We can provide you the sample of the wrong receiptsisued by your staff, if desired).

• We have been experiencing the lapses from your end on some instances in the past too, which aggravated us to write this complaint. Mistake in mentioning wrong addressee, as well as sender’s name on the speed post slips can cause very much legal implications, inconvenience, as well as resulting in huge loss of money & time. We further would like to inform you that all our speed post parcels contain very important legal documents pertain to important Government Authorities and seek your explanation on failure of taking serious note on our request.

You are also requested to take necessary action against the concerned staff of your Post Office. The citizens of India have a lot of faith in your department and we do believe that this would not happen again in future.

NON DELIVERY
Dear Sir,
I had posted a very important document by IMS Speed Post on 13th June09 for Chennaai from Trivandrum. Unfortunately it has not reched the destined location and to add to my woes it seems to be non tracable even us the India Speed Post Mangers in Chennai. My Tracking number is EL 01559148 5 IN
Really don't know what to do next.
Please help if possible.

what kind of stupidity are you people doing in the name of speed post this is not speed post its slow post.a document send from ernakulam to thiruvalla has to be delivered on the next day itself .so far it has not elivered.

Dear Sir,

I am Chitra singh, on 5th july 2009 my exam was scheduled for "Andhra bank for post of PO" but due to the post office Noida Sector 18 fault, i have not got my admit card till 4th july, which was speed posted on 2 nd july from SHAHDARA and it was supposed to be delivered on 3rd or maximum 4th july 2009 in NOIDA Sector 18, but today i have received my speed post i.e on 6th july 09 which is due to the fault of post master i didn't received my letter on 3rd july. i studied very hard for this post but i was not able to attend my exam due to only fault made by post master and post office SECTOR 18 NOIDA. And also when i complained to post man he was trying to threaten me that if i, ll complain then he will see me. According to him my documents wiill communicate via post office and he has to deliver and they will be affected. I am very irritated at his misbihave and frusted too because i lost my exam for which i studied hard and paid Rs. 400. Now who will compensate me for that? Its a shame to speed post service...that customers are being threated if they complain. Kindly Take Action and reply soon...

Hi,
This is in regards to a Speed Post with docket number : EM344345697IN, this was dispatched from Pune by SCDL on 6/6/09, and was supposed to reach Roorkee, Uttarakhand. Unfortunately, I havent got this speed post delivered at my place till date. This contains my MBA Diploma Certificate, and no one is taking responsibility to search it. Pune office says they dispatched the document, Roorkee office says they never recieved the document. But no one is bothered to search the details so they cant get to know where the document got misplaced. This is a proof of carelessness. My job is on stake because of all this mess. Can anyone help me with this ?

Sir, i had sent an important consignment to america via indian speedpost from connaught new delhi on 06/07/2009 and i have no tracking details of my consignment neither has it been delivered(as per the cofirmation received from the receiver).
