[Resolved] Micromax Q3 — GPRS NOT ENABLING | |
Hi- I bought this Micromax Q3 mobile last week. Phone functioning is O.K. But only thing is GPRS settings are not enabling for any type of Network. Presently I am using "Tata DOCOMO" and "AIRCEL". ne yabba rey u q3 is not supporting any network for gprs u asole . take the complaints and slove quickly dam
GPRS Settings for Micromax Q3 using a TATA Docomo sim card
Open Services, go to Data account, select GPRS,
select Account 1 which is the blank account and click on Edit
and edit the following
Account name: Docomo gprs
APM TATA.DOCOMO.DIve.IN
USER NAME: leave this field blank
PASSWORD: leave this field blank
Auth Type: Normal
Primary DNS: leave this field blank
Secondary DNS: leave this field blank
After this go back to services and select WAP.
Go to settings in WAP.
Select SIM1 or SIM 2 which ever has the TATA Docomo sim.
After this select Edit Account and again select SIM1 or SIM 2
which ever has the TATA Docomo sim.
select a blank account which would be named Account 1.
Select Edit account and edit the following.
Account Name:DOCOMO_GPRS
homepage: divein.tatadocomo.com
click on Data Account and select GPRS, in the list select Docomo gprs
which was previously created.
Connections type: select WAP
Once you select WAP, type in the IP address as 010.124.094.007
Choose security as off, select Back and OK.
leave both the User name and Password blank.
Open Services, go to Data account, select GPRS,
select Account 1 which is the blank account and click on Edit
and edit the following

I am using the MM Q3 with Tata Docomo and BSNL, no prblem with BSNL but i am not able to make any out going calls from Docomo, Incoming Calls, messages and outgoing messages are working fine, but only problem is with outgoing calls where it states check operator services, when i spoke to customer service @ Karnataka, they said Docomo sims are not compatible with Micromax, all china hand sets and some basic nokia phones, so this may be the reason why most of them are not able to access GPRS through Docomo.

i have purchase micromax x511 but feature are ok but the gprs function is not working is there any setting for this mobile if not kindly take back this mobile ... in gprs page is not opeing but the money is cutting if there is any settings kindly send me or otherwise iam taking legal action to this company

I am trying to connect the my email acccounts of Gmail & vodafone on my Micromax Q3 phone but despite creating the right settings, it is showing DNS error/connection errror/network error.Can some one give me the email settings for Gmail.Yahoo and the connection settings for Vodafone mail.
Also can I download any antiviruse in the phone as i tried to down load some Java applications via the suite but they did not instal.Can someone advise on the same

HI IM USE MICROMAX Q3 MOBILE ITS WORKING GOOD AND GPRS ALOS WORKING MAYBE U GUYS NOT KNOWING THE CORRECT SETTINGS. TRY TO DO CORRECT SETTINGS ITS WORKING GOOD.

i purchase micromax x250 last month .i complain by email this company but no reply .shopkeeper say to me mostly micromax mobile create the problem .he say to me i request to company to change all micromax mobile .in there service service they say we change but don't give us a proper times .in my cell network problem very much .in place NOKIA give us fill network micromax given not proper network.
so please change my micromax cell and give me a best quality cell thanks
