Air Mauritius — No arrangements for connecting flight on cancellation of Air mauritius flight

I was traveling from Mauritius to Mumbai on 27th May in MK748 flight. I had a connecting flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad on next day at 12:15 with Indigo airline. Due to some technical problem, flight MK748 from Mauritius get cancelled and I missed next day flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. Air Mauritius had arranged another flight from Mauritius to Mumbai on 28th May. The problem is that Air Mauritius didn't provide me flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad which I missed due to cancellation of flight. They took my connecting flight details and said you will get you connecting flight once you reach Mumbai. But there was no one from Air Mauritius staff at Mumbai airport. I have to made my own arrangements from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. I had to pay about 13000 for flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad and suffered at Mumbai airport. No one was there whom I can contact for this situation. Please look into this matter and suggest whether I would get any refund for Mumbai to Ahmedabad flight.
