Airtel — airtel fixed landline inactive since one month | |||
Complaint to airtel consumer forum online dtd april 11, 2018 (User id[protected]_mh) cuffe parade mumbai bearing relationship id 11571871 Under extreme inconvenience & tolerance for over a month now, i would like to lodge a complaint against airtel fixed line services. We have been using this line at the egyptian consulate tourism office, mumbai. The line has been inactive/ dead for over a month even after daily requests on tel / email. Daily i receive automated call backs from a different associate after my emails, saying the problem will be escalated. Even false promises were made, that a tecnician will visit our office to technically verify & restore. This shows there is no real interest to actually resolve problems All bills have been clear upto date & latest are : Bill no[protected] dt 3.2.2018 paid 16.2.2018 by chq no 128601 rs 22866.62 Bill no[protected] dt 9.3.2018 paid 27.03.2018 by chq no 128598 rs 454.88 The above last amount was paid although the line was inactive. We were asked for confidential documents like diplomatic passport, protocol id card with photo proof of the owner of office who is a egyptian diplomat. I strongly will spread the word around & cannot recommend airtel as a service provider to anyone if this is the service we are put through. Today another demand was received by an unofficial sms, asking for weird verification documents like incorporation certificates, confidential government agreements, other inhouse utility bills & purchase orders totally irrelevant to us, after using this line for 10 years!! Prior to this we did not even receive any bill hardcopies from sept 2017-jan 2018.in february on investigating at the gallery, i was shocked to hear that the line had gone into e-bill mode even though no such request was made by us. This is hugely unprofessional to still receive continuous bills when a line is inactive & demands to supply different documents at different times with no single point of contact, no connection between your departments and still the line remains inactive till date. A case of extreme irresponsibility and fabricated lies on the part of airtel which is a waste of our time being a part of diplomatic & foreign services under protection & surveillance of officers of consular police. Just what is the way forward to receive justice on this pathetic issue? 2) How to get rid of the monthly roaming rental charges? Shall I just take out the SIM Card?
