[Resolved] Airtel — Wrong name registered by airtel prepaid | |||||
I submitted my passport during mnp from vodafone to airtel. But They registered my name wrong. Because of this i cant even mnp to any other operator. Airtel is the worst operator i have seen till date. And now when i call customer care they are like we cant do anything from here. It registered my moms name as my name such a huge mistake by airtel cant be ignored. Airtel is the most irresponsible operator of the country. I cant even connect to customer care executive call automatically gets disconnected when i try to talk to customer care executive. Was this information helpful? | |||||

I am suffering from same problem as above described, Sim registered with my father name but they mentioned wrong name..
When i was visited in airtel store for ownership transfer from father name to my name they check ID and said that's not match with the details they incorrect mention my father name. Store was also declined from there hand to rectify the details.. really Airtel service is unsatisfied how can they incorrect name mentioned of owner..

The name against my Airtel number is incorrect. I sent so many email to Airtel but they are very irresponsible to solve issue. My sim got damage and due to incorrect name I not even able to take new sim due to this issue. I tried to call custer care daily for last 5 days but every time they said we will resolve ur issue in 24 hrs. They don't even bother about issue. Very wrost experience with Airtel service.

I did MNP from vodafone to airtel.
For which i submitted my passport.
My card got activated.
I did televerification for which last 4 digit of my passport serial number was asked.
Which i entered then it asked for my birth year.
Which was correct and my sim got verified.
After that i logged into my airtel app i saw app was showing my mother's name Krishna.
I called customer care my call dropped almost 20 times. Then i used another number to reach customer care executive it got connected at once.
I told them the issue, they were like it is registered in your mothers name.
How is it possible i have given my passport which have my name. All other information like fathers name, date of birth, passport number all are correctly registered except for my first name.
Airtel's executive must have registered my mothers name as my first name and very that is very irresponsible.
This was height of irresponsibility.
