Dear Team,
I purchased an Aquaguard RO system on 17 March 2026. The product functioned properly only for the first 2–3 days. After that, it started malfunctioning.
Currently, the machine is not fetching water properly. We have to repeatedly switch it off and on to make it work. Even then, we have to constantly monitor it to ensure that it draws water from the supply, otherwise there is a risk of the motor getting damaged.
When we contacted customer support, we were informed that we need to purchase an additional pressure pump (costing ₹3, 000–₹5, 000) for the RO to function properly. This is unacceptable, as:
* Our water pressure is already sufficient.
* This requirement was never communicated at the time of purchase.
* No such dependency was mentioned in the product description or by the sales representative.
It is unreasonable to expect customers to incur additional costs due to improper guidance or a potentially faulty product.
I request you to:
1. Arrange a proper inspection of the unit immediately.
2. Resolve the issue without any additional charges.
3. Provide a replacement/refund if the product is found defective.
Kindly treat this matter as urgent, as the product is newly purchased and already malfunctioning.
Looking forward to your prompt resolution.
Regards,
[Aastha]
