I have bought a Boat Sound bar 1160 in September 2020 through Amazon. It is still in warranty. It is connected by AUX cable to my TV but since more than a month now no sound is playing through it.
I registered a complaint on 23.03.2021 (Complaint No. 2173461). The Technician visited and could not identify the problem. Then finally stated that the AUX cable was faulty. Though in warranty, I had to buy the AUX cable as it is an accessory. Even with the new AUX cable the problem persisted. When I called to state that the problem was NOT resolved, I was given the number of the supervisor who assured me that I should lodged a fresh complaint and he will look into it. I lodged a complaint and this was on 01.04.2021 (Complaint No. 2208188). I had also specifically requested that the earlier technician should not be sent. When I followed up on phone on 01.04.2021 after lodging the complaint, I was told that the technician will come within 2-3 days. No one has turned up till date.
It is felt that the issue is being dragged so that the product goes out of warranty and I can be charged.
If the Company feels my product cannot be repaired, then I want a refund or replacement.
