Dear customer care manager,
I had placed an order for half-blade shoes size - 7 on feb. 23, 2017. The order was delivered in the morning today. There was a sticker on the top with my name, address and my order details clearly mentioning half-blade shoe size - 7. When opened, i was surprised to see that the packet contained a hp backpack and not the shoes that i had ordered. The delivery person delivered the packet, took his rs. 1, 149.00 for the shoes and left immediately.
I immediately called on your number mentioned on your website and an auto generated voice welcomed me and asked to choose options for customer care, complaints and cancellation & refund. I called three different times and chose all the different options respectively but all the time the call got disconnected on its own after confirming me to connect to the concerned person and after one beep only. I felt like cheated. First, you make a customer wait for 10 days and then you deliver a faulty product which the customer had never asked for otherwise he / she would ask for a backpack. Of course, how would a customer know that he would get a backpack if he / she orders for shoes or that he / she needs to order a backpack for getting shoes or vice-versa. I fail to understand, how a backpack can replace a shoe. How can your staff put a sticker of shoes on the cover and pack a backpack. Are your staff so dumb that they can't differentiate between a shoe and a backpack even with its size and weight or is it their don't care attitude for their customers. Either way it is not good for your customers and for you as well as you can't expect the customer to repeat his mistake and place an order with you again and receive a faulty / undesired product.
Moreover, your website doesn't sell a backpack alone and it is accompanied by a mobile databank as combo. Then how come your staff doesn't check customer's preference and pack a faulty & incomplete product minus the combo offer.
Anyway, as i did not want and ordered a backpack, i hereby cancel my order and request you for reversal of my money paid to you. Also, request you to kindly get the faulty product picked up from my residence and reverse inr 1, 149.00 back to my account please. Thanks.

After writing such a big complaint and request for RETURN of the WRONG PRODUCT delivered and further REQUESTED for REFUND of my MONEY yesterday late evening i.e., Saturday, 4th March, I did receive a phone call from Bookmyoffer at about 9.20 am today i.e., Sunday, 5th March. The Caller introduced himself speaking from Bookmyoffer regarding my complaint but before allowing me to respond, he conveniently disconnected the phone and never called back. When I called him back, his mobile was found switched off and thus we couldn't speak and my issue remained unresolved. If the intention of making the call was to speak to the customer then why would the call be disconnected and completely switch-off the mobile.
Now, a doubt comes to mind. Why would the Caller call, introduce himself and disconnect the phone.
I have a strong feeling that Bookmyoffer management doesn't want to provide service to its Customers and are playing with people's sentiments and making fool of them.
I SINCERELY WANTTO HAVE A REFUND OF MONEY PAID FOR THE WRONG PRODUCT.

customer care number disconnect the call.
I will go in consumer forum against saturday sunday media internet pvt ltd
for cheat the customer and froudlent business things.
