      Respected sir,

      Firstly i was not informed that while buying the said system that you have a flat rate of service now your technician comes in tries to change the plugs and plugs the subwoofer in 2 different sockets amd tells me that we shall charge you around 14000.00 for this we have a flat rate i ask him what has to be changed he says that i don't know but you have to pay 14000. 00 if you want is to repair now you should have informed me your poilcy as being a lawyer myself i know that the indian law does not allow such policies this is a clear case of customer manipulation under various ipc sections neither was o told verbally that such are our policy of service as i believe to the naked eye what your technician did was a bad joke made me laugh plug the system in some other socket and say 14000.00 sir.

      Other occasions too i when the product in june 2018 when it was installed i was told some technician would come to visit as my adaptive iq was not set but till date no one has paid a visit a copy of the said service repirt on the very first day when the system was brand new under warranty is attached nonone came in tonfix the adaptive iq issue. 

      While i wanted to set the the system to on the very first day i was told technicians are not available and after lot of pursuance a technician from outside some private dealer was arranged who didn't eve have a valid bose id you can check the same in your system had spoken to the manager at bose phoenix mall lower parel outl

        I purchased bose quietcontrol 30 on 19th october, 2017 from chroma t. Nagar, chennai. After using it a 1.5 years, left earpiece started making some distorted noise everytime i turn on the earpiece. I took it to bose service in t. Nagar on 9th november, 2019. I talked to this lady, roselind, and she said they don't have the stock and it'll take a maximum of 3 weeks to import it from us. After 3 weeks, i sent a follow up mail on 30th november. I got a reply on 2nd december that the product will be received that week and they will notify me. I am still waiting, it's 18th december and no updates from them. Bose is so poor in both product quality and service. With just their name popularity they increase their price and cheat the customers. Im expecting some response from bose on this and my defective product should be replaced as early as possible.

          I had ordered soundlink mini speakers from your site which has been delivered yesterday and found a completely non functional product. It's card slot, charging pin, usb nothing works and doesn't even get connected to any of the bluetooth devices, even if it gets connected it disconnects after some time, i feel it's a sheer wastage of money, i tried calling on helpline number but nobody pics up and always end up hearing an automated voice. Made me fool or what?

            I love my music systems and have owned various ones over the years : phillips, samsung, sony, national, jbl and now bose. The money i paid for bose is 3 times the money i paid for all the previous systems put together.

            Now here's the fun part. All the other systems are still functional and within 18 months, the bose system has conked off (Power supply not reaching the sub woofer). The repair charges are close to rs 20000, almost as high as the cost of other music systems like jbl soundbar 350.

            The attitude of the bose servicing team is so callous that it almost looks like they are paying you for repairing your music system.

            The complaint started on 6th june 2017. After about 15-18 calls made to them, they have got the system picked up on 7th june 2017. I am swearing off bose.

                I was one of the customer to purchase the new BOSE HEADSED BT2 lifestyle system in October 2014, . It was 10, 500/- but being a fan of Bose and that was awesome and RIGHT FROM BEGINNING I HAD ISSUE, . So the day it was PURCHASED I hooked everything up and found the Bluetooth BT 2 module had no sound output. I looked at the light on the unit and found it blinking steady amber. I tried several times to reset up the system and it would not work. I called Bose support and they determined it was a firmware issue and said that in the sometime in January there was going to be a software update that would fix this problem. They said sorry it doesn't work but it will be fixed eventually. They said they stopped manufacturing of Bose BT 2 MODELS and changed company policies globally without public notice, then I was told I must be using the wrong kind so they would replace new one by 25% discount . I said it's not going to make a difference they don’t repair instead I shuld pay 8500 /- and take new one. I was pretty upset this system was not working but my hands were tied. I immediately called the Bose BANGLORE SERIVCE CENTER I spoke to Mr SUBASH CHANDER about my problem he came up with plan asking me to pay 3500 /- and take new one. .

                BOSE INDIA IS WORST no proper customer care as well managers are not bothered . i kindly request them to repair my existing or replace new with no cost .

                  Hi my name is vishal and i am one and amongst the other satisfied customers of bose products. First and foremost you pay through your nose to own the basic product. I purchased the sound touch 120 device which costed me rs 1.10 lakhs approx from croma in lower parel phoenix mall in april 2016. Since there was renovation work going on at my house i did not open my box pack and only opened it in june for installing the same. To my disguise the wifi device provided with the console did not detect the wifi device. All other devices were working fine. When i called up croma very conveniently the bose representative there mr. Rahul who convinced me to buy this product asked me to take my device to the service center at andheri. After reaching the service center at andheri the technical person of bose tested my device and said that there was a software update issue. After an hour he came and told me that the issue was not software related but it was more of a hardware problem and he asked my to leave the console and the wifi device at the service center. I picked up my device along with the console yesterday from the service center on 7th july 2016 after they called me and informed me that the device was ready and was tested at the center. Surprising they informed me that they had replaced a damaged pcb from the console. It was horrific to hear that a brand new device from a reputed company like bose had a hardware malfunction even before it was used. After i reached home the worst happened. The console threw another error"error in accoustimass". To my frustration i googled and tried to look at some free tutorials and videos to fix the issue but in vain. After calling them up again they tried to troubleshoot the issue but were not able to resolve.
                  Just to let all know that bose has just a single number for customer care support which remain busy most of the time. Their pick up and drop service charges are exorbitant for example anywhere upto rs 2000 rupees for a single device... I need a resolution and hope someone reading this realizes that bose might have great products but service is pathetic!!!

                    Product Name: Bose Mini Bluetooth Player. I ordered Bose Mini Bluetooth Player order No 22922, on Sunday, November 17, 2013 from BOSE website online. I received the delivery in 4 days. Immediately I checked the system and noticed that the auxiliary mode did not work when connected with TV, DVD, as well as with mobile and even the sound quality isn’t as it was expected of a BOSE system when played via blue tooth. Infact the creative speakers which I play with PC sound better. I immediately sent an email to the company to which I dint receive any revert for two days, finally I sent a complaint through their website in order to Refund the amount. Today 22/11/2013 I received a call from them stating they don't have a refund policy, so finally I asked them to replace it to which they said that is also not in their policy and asked me to take the product to their service centre. I am aghast to get such a revert from BOSE which is supposed to be the best in Music Systems. I would like them to collect the piece and refund the full amount (Rs. 16, 450.00) as this is absolutely unacceptable. Regards, Jeraz Masani

                        I own a Bose Home Theater for some years now. It is covered by an annual service contract. The problem is that their service levels in Mumbai are pathetic. They are selling large numbers today but their service network has just not kept up.
                        Some examples: a) under the service contract, they are supposed to send their people 2 times a year for maintenance. This never happens unless the customer calls up
                        b) the standard answer to a complaint is that it will take 3-4 days for a service engineer to come to your house. The last time I had an issue with the remote, I had to finally call the service manager for help
                        c) from yesterday, the audio of my system is not working. When I called Bose this morning, they tell me that all their service engineers are in Delhi attending a conference for the next 4 days. The moral of the story seems to me to,be...have installation engineers available so that customers who have paid for the system, get them installed. But customers who have bought systems earlier can go to hell, because their money is already paid.
                        Its really pathetic. Someone should teach these arrogant folks a lesson

                        I had purchased the product (3.2.1 GS III) on 30th Sept '11 from Metropolitan Mall Shop, Jaipur. I didn't receive an Invoice as printer was not working). I tried to pay through my debit card but it showed transaction declined (twice). Finally I paid in 2 parts with different cards. Next morning I received messages from my bank saying all the money was deducted from both the accounts. So, full payment was deducted twice.
                        Now, I am behind these bugger's life for my payment and there is zero service level to entertain me. If payment happened twice by mistake, these holes should be prompt to revert back.
                        I think Bose sells in India only because of its name and past reputation. The customer service is pathetic. I bought a Bose system on 29th and the executive could not give an invoice since it had to be generated online. He promised to mail it later that day on email but has still not done it.
                        If this is the service level on billing I wonder what would the service in the event of a service request.

                        I also agress with the complaint. I have purchased Lifestyle 35 HTS 15 days back. I am yet to receive a invoice for my purchase. I have not received any guarantee card.
                        2. No support was provided by Bose for my system installation. No calls and no support. I have to figure everything out by myself. Even a system costing Rs 5000/- provides better support.
                        3. Tried contacting your engineer while installing and he replied that try it yourself
                        A mutinational company like Bose which claims to provide best of the class support system this seems to very unprofessional.
                        My experience with BOSE is also not very good. Have BOSE Wave radio purchased 5-6 yrs back, had option to play CD's and radio. The CD player has never been a smooth player, the lens attracts dust very frequently. Had to dust the lens before playing, that was also manageable but now it has refused to that. When given for repairs at the service centre you are told that it is beyond repairs, you have to buy a new one at a price with marginal discount in lieu of Old player. Which is purely Blackmailing unethical. One cant throw it, I m now playing only as a FM Radio, but swear upon never to trust BOSE.

                        Alternatively if you have any Japanese make it can be repaired by any radio mechanic, What do we have to do buying a BOSE product. Overall its been a bad experience. Repair Services are very unprofessional.

                        I would like to add my complaint as well. I purchased the home system for about 2 Lacs from the City Centre mall, gurgaon.

                        The customer service is really pathetic and the worst I have ever experienced.

                        My only requirement was wireless speakers, so the sales guy told me that this 2 lac system comes with small speakers which are wireless, and i can put them at different corners. However, it was a lie, as soon as I reached home and opened the box and I found the big wires. So I immediately went to the shop and asked them to refund my money or to exchange it since they lied.

                        The sales guy told me that I should have told them before getting an invoice from them! wow! They lied in the first place and how someone will know before getting an invoice if the product is up to the mark or not.

                        They told me that I am wasting their time and I cant afford 2 lacs that why I came back to their shop crying back for my money.

                        So I talked to the manager of the shop and he was really rude, even worst than sales guys. He told that I should learn from my mistake (I think he meant the mistake I done by purchasing the bose system) and told me that in future I should not rely on sales guys information.

                        In the end: Bose SUCKS! I lost my 2 lacs and know what, I dont care! The bad karma will come back to them and god will do a balance.
                        We are a very old customer of Bose(a decade) and own more than 20 systems as on date.
                        We bought sound system from croma Store Surat (model Bose Lifestyle V35) on 9th May 2013 (Invoice No. SFL02A[protected], Till Date the product is not been installed/calibrated properly and we came to know product is not suitable for this size room after several researches on site by Bose Multi location teams (including Mumbai, Delhi & Hyderabad)
                        Before the purchase Bose Sales Executive visited our site, tested the area and took reading along with him. On basis of result he recommend us the model Lifestyle V35 for that area and we procurer that system.
                        After Multiple attempts of installation and calibration the system time of almost 3 months is been wasted and consumed on this and Bose hands up saying they are not able to do it and Senior manager send us and apology saying this will be a learning experience for Bose and they will refund the system.
                        We are unable to understand why would we (or any customer) suffer for Bose failure and there leaning experiences ?? This is Bose organization's duty to provide solution and satisfaction to us or any customer when either there personal or the system fail to judge te

                        Rather than that, The culture of only sales/revenue generation by any means (keeping us at bleeding edge) reflect in your recommendation of taking back V35 solution and offering new solution of 6 times of initial investment cost with a candy offer of 30 % is utterly disgraceful for a organization like Bose.
                        Seems like nothing has changed with Bose. Only wish I had gone through these complaints before deciding to buy a Bose product. Had purchased a pair of headsets from their online store and noticed a cut on one of the wires the same evening. Called Bose the next day and its been a month since I have been calling them but they haven't responded. Every time I speak to an executive on their toll free helpline they keep telling me to expect a call back in an hour but have never received a call back till date.

                        Whats worse - even emails are not responded to ! I don't think they will last very long with these service levels in India !

                        Bose headphones are designed to fail right after warranty. The rubbery sheathing on the cords disintegrates and the cable frays and tears, for no good reason.

                        14 Days back I had purchased bose soundtouch 20 with an offer of Bluetooth adapter and I preferred Black. Still I had not received the product crossing 14 days. I had bought this product in Reliance Digital Store, Cunnigham Road, Bangalore.

                        I purchased a Bose sound touch 130 from Phoenix mall, bangalore ! The sales person someway they got an attitude, Infact they told me once " I am a Bose employee" !!! My foot, I don't care !!!
                        You are a salesman, behave like one ..
                        Guys pls make a note before purchasing, it is a reputed brand, which is one of the best in the market, no doubts about that !!!
                        Having said all those wonderful words, pls do not expect any backup from them, and you have to install the equipment by yourself only and it is not easy .
                        It require some expertise, if anyone can share some details about the higher ups for Bose pls share it . I would love to write it them, because the name and brand name is spoiled by the Bose employees only or their vendors . We should write it to them ..

                        Hi,

                        I am having a very difficult experience with Bose Service center in India. It been Two months now, that I had sent the faulty bose speakers to their DLF Saket District Centre for exchange as advised by their customer support. Till date I have not got any call/intimation yet. I had called them on 15th January and your customer support said they will send the repaired speaker back by 25th January. but nothing has happened yet. Please help!

                        ISSUE – This is my first Bose product purchase, and I am sorry, but the Bose brand name hasn’t lived up to the expectation. I have not used this speaker much. Suddenly, the speaker started having sound issues while I had some guests over to my place. The speaker sound starts crackling “PHAT..PHAAT…PHAT.. PHAT..PHAAT…PHAT” as soon as the volume level is increased to 70% or more.

                          I have purchased a 2.1 computer speaker from Bose India Store in 30 C Chowringhee Road ( Ph No:[protected] on 7th May'11.The system is not working properly,Some unexpected sounds are coming from the system when I am switching it on.I have spoken to the concerned service centre but they are not ready to sent any techinisian to my home to solve the problem They are saying that I have to carry the set as per thei convenience to the service centre & after few days when they wil repair the same I have to go & collect the set. It is not possible for me to go in week days since I have my office & they are not open on sunday.

                          Hence request you to take necessary steps so that they send their technician at my residence to solve my problem.

                            Dear all,
                            I have bought my Bose in ear head phones for Rs. 5000/- but when i compare them to my Sennheiser CX 180 which i bought for Rs. 1500/- , I found the Quality & Base of Sennheiser much better than Bose. Same has been told to Bose customer care over the phone when i got a call taking feedback about their product.

                            I wish i could get my money back in return of those headphones.

                              I bought a multimedia system from Bose India and went back the next day to exhange it for another product. It was supposed to be a gift and the person I was gifting to didn't like it.
                              I was told that Bose India doesn't have an exchange policy, they do have a 30-45 day exchange policy for the US though.
                              I find this highly irregular and discriminating!

                                I have purchased one SoundDock™ Portable Digital Music System on 27.12.08. On 7th.Jan 2009 I contacted Ms. Monalisa and expressed my dissatisfaction on selection of the system, I requested her to arrange the Bose Wave ® Music System by changing the purchased one. After getting approval from her manager (Ms.Trina De) she called me and asked me to make ready of all the papers and the packing box. She confirmed me that my request will be fulfilled provided the set and all the papers, accessories and packing box are ok. She also informed me that her Manager would join her duty on 16th Jan’09, so I have been advised to come after 16th of Jan ‘09.

                                I contacted on 16th. Jan but Ms. Monalisa was on leave. I again contacted on 19th. and that time Mr. Tuhin picked up my call and asked me to come along with the set and all the papers, accessories and the packing box. As per their guidance I came along with all the items except the remote controller, which I forgot to. They have visually checked all the items and the documents and confirmed me that everything was well in order. They asked me to bring the remote controller for completing the functional checking. I rushed my home and brought the same.

                                After functional checking Mr. Tuhin called me in a separate room and tried to make me convinced for buying the higher version i.e Acoustic Wave ® Music System II instead of Bose Wave ® Music System. When I didn’t show any interest then he tried to sell the accessories like Multi- CD changer and the connect kit for iPod. I listened his sales talk and after that I expressed my choice i.e Bose Wave ® Music System and nothing else. After failure of his sales efforts he suddenly turned 1800 and informed me that the change couldn’t be possible. I asked the reason; his answer was “Though everything is in order but due to the absence of the plastic wrappers of the set and the instruction manual the system cannot be considered as saleable condition”. I was shocked; they have wasted my full evening and harassed me a lot.

                                I would like to know the below points:

                                1) Without opening the plastic wrapper how a person can use the system? While opening the wrapper it will obviously get damaged and cannot be used next time.
                                2) While visual checking they did not point out the plastic wrapper and I had been asked to bring the remote controller from my home.
                                3) If Mr. Tuhin found the system as non saleable then why he wasted my time by delivering sales lecture on higher version products?
                                4) Why the Manager (Ms. Trina De) has avoided facing the situation? She has been requested several times over phone by Mr. Niladri and Mr. Tuhin in front me.
                                5) I have wasted the whole evening, came twice in the store, listened unnecessary sales talk, and harassed a lot. How all these will be compensated?

                                I am really very disappointed and cannot expect this from a reputed company like Bose. I want the full compensation of the harassment.

                                Times of India New Paper — Non receiving of paper from 16.01.2009

                                Dear sir,

                                I Ashok Mishra Consantno 200112 Mobile no at the time of booking [protected] is a member of annual subscription scheme in Hyderabad. My residence in sanathnagar. I am not receivin the paper from 16.01.2009 onwards. I have complained to Depot Incharge of Times of India, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad and tried over phone but there are no action has been taken. Then I have booked a complained at Times of India Hyderabad office on 05.02.2009, 08.02.2009 and 09.02.2009 but I have not received any reply in this regards. I received the mobile no of Mr. Rajesh Incharge of Times of India depot, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad and one Mr. Sravan Manager of Times of india. I tried many a time but no response. If this contineous then who will belive on TOI' scheme. TOI is leading paper of India and I like TOI to read in english language.Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

                                I also have had a wow experience. I think there was a problem with the customer actually. Bose is a lovely and a great company.
                                i completely agree with Mr. Banerjee as i also assisted by tuhin only and he is such a patient guy and he handled all my query very well so i ll ask Mr.DHRUBA JYOTI ROY to go to the store again and this time with the cool mind so he can judge that BOSE only hire quality people.
                                I m of the opinion that Bose is a very reputed organisation and I m using a Lifestyle product, so Its an Awesome Experience.
                                I dont think that DHRUBA JYOTI ROY has done something that wud spoil the fame of the company. After Bose Is Boss!!!

                                I have 3 Bose products at home and my experience is quite pathetic with the LS 35 service. Haven't had any problems with the products but their service. They are all patient on phone. I agree but they never land up to do service within warranty.
                                After all you dont pay atrocious money to hear patient words, you need quick response.

                                I guess the gentlemen who have abused Dhruva are hired web operators of Bose. The strandard of English gives them away. Moreover funnily Mr Banerjee is completely agreeing with Mr Banerjee. Sorry guy...you forgot to log off as Mr Banerjee and log in as XYZ. So much for web centre guys...

                                This is very standard practice of retailers/manufacturers these days to stop customers from bad mouthing their companies. Nothing wrong in that...after all we poor customers are all paying for their salaries.

                                Bose - Worst Experience of a Music Lover


                                We are a very old customer of Bose(a decade) and own more than 20 systems as on date.
                                We bought sound system from croma Store Surat (model Bose Lifestyle V35) on 9th May 2013 (Invoice No. SFL02A[protected], Till Date the product is not been installed/calibrated properly and we came to know product is not suitable for this size room after several researches on site by Bose Multi location teams (including Mumbai, Delhi & Hyderabad)
                                Before the purchase Bose Sales Executive visited our site, tested the area and took reading along with him. On basis of result he recommend us the model Lifestyle V35 for that area and we procurer that system.
                                After Multiple attempts of installation and calibration the system time of almost 3 months is been wasted and consumed on this and Bose hands up saying they are not able to do it and Senior manager send us and apology saying this will be a learning experience for Bose and they will refund the system.
                                We are unable to understand why would we (or any customer) suffer for Bose failure and there leaning experiences ?? This is Bose organization's duty to provide solution and satisfaction to us or any customer when either there personal or the system fails

                                Rather than that, The culture of only sales/revenue generation by any means (keeping us at bleeding edge) reflect in your recommendation of taking back V35 solution and offering new solution of 6 times of initial investment cost with a candy offer of 30 % is utterly disgraceful for a organization like Bose.
