ground staff irresponsible services
I travelled from sharjah to calicut by air arabia.. my extra baggage is 3kg n i paid 180 aed.. thts not my issue... because its strict that we know.. after paying when i came to lagguage cabin counter staffs changed and previos staffs didn't gave any over to the new staffs.. they dont even care... they dont have any idea what they doing actually.. UNPROFESSIONALS R WORKING FOR AIR ARABIA... they made me walk several times...
Only in sharjah this issue...in my native staffs are fine...
My request ... at least recruit professionals whos having the ability to maintain..
very ### service... n again we dont take ur service... better Indigo ... GOOD SERVICE..

I travelled from yerevan to mumbai on 16 th nov
Out of two baggage 1 baggage is missed out. It was informed that baggage is not loaded, but the ground staff lady very rude in her behaviour. She never took me to the next level official. I have been put panic and so much mental tension she has created. She never understood my pain the baggage so important to me. As i purchased memorable gifts of armenia to give yo my family. Kindly resolve and see that my baggage returns to my home address. Teach the staff the polite behaviour

I travelled in air arabia on 16th nov 2018 from arevan to mumbai. But out of 2 luggage 1 baggage is not loaded, i. E. Informed by the ground staff. Gtound staff is not at all cooperative and not taken to the next level even if how much i have pleaded them. Actually i am working in hyderabad to attend an important seminar in hyderabad. But the air lines refused to send my baggage to the address provided to them. And also the telephone nos which they provided us are wrong nos. Land line is wrong and mobile is switched off.

The above reservation was done by me onhehalf of my brother. However at the airport passnger was forced to change flight and travels to cochin instead calicut airport.
Airport staff at the counetr was not willing to listen to passnger request and issued a boarding paas to cochin which is 300km away from the booked destination.
Im not sure who has given airport staff to take such unfair decision. And what is the assuranace that airarabia is providing to customer for online reservation booking.

The staff are extremely unhelpful towards my 60+year old mother who's already suffering from walking difficulties.
They refuse to allow her to check in as small carry on baggage in spite of her being with in her total allowance
How do they expect her to drag a carry on bag when she can hardly walk.

Delayed baggage

I was travelling from Air Arabia flight from Muscat to Mumbai.But when i reached Mumbai my Baggage was not reached. When I complaint to Air Arabia Customer service n Airport they did not cooperate. My all important documents and files which i needed for my Business meeting was lost.I regularly called the customer service on Airport but they never co-operated, after 2 days they started not picking up my phone.
I received my bag after almost week.
Air Arabia wasted my entire week and all my business meeting was failed.
Air Arabia did not paid any compensation and their customer service was very rude.
I request that Air Arabia should get penalized or punish so that they will no do this to any other passenger in future.
I request all reading people never travel in Air Arabia Flight.

Bad loss of my baggage
I have an issue... I would like to be resolved as soon as possible of bad loss of my baggage... That is almost 30kg
In 19 of july 2017... From sharjah to khartoum... Flight no g90667... Class y... Gate 3... Boarding time 2105... Seat 26b... I traveled from sharjah directly with no connection to sudan.. And when i reached there... My baggage didn't show up... I complained immediately at the airport to the staff... And in i waited for the next fly and the one after it... Then i came the other day... There is no trace of my baggage... I keep coming the next 8 days... But unfortunately my back wasn't there... I called the office of air arabia in sudan khartoum... One time they told me my baggage in sharjah... The other days they told my baggage traveled with me in the same flight...in 9 days i have nothing to wear no money and my questionnaire of my research can't not be completed without this paper... And am running out of time... I have my medication for epilepsy for 3 months... Beside my very expensive clothes and my perfumees creams accessories including gold... And i can't wait no more... Last year i had semilar issues with air arabia i paid my ticket and when i came to the airport they told me the plane is full and we can't let u in... And they promise to stay in hotel 5 stars... And room by my self till the next fly... And i agreed then the room was consist of 6 beds not comfortable to sleep in... I travelled different air ways without any this type of issue... This is how air arabia is treating their customers.. Because of some unprofessional staff airline... Spoiling their brand value and losing there customers... Requesting to take some serious action or unfortunately i have to deal with this in law... And definitely you lose me and all my family and my friends as customers... I weighted my luggege at the curbe side, it was 30 kg.But at the counter, she said"is 31 kg ".
Mr presiden, there is such a thing called "tolerance".Every mechanical equipment has tolerance.This type of scales are not made to weight gold, therefore the tolerance is +/- 3kg.(please read the manufacture manual of your scales).Also god knows when it was calibrated(manufactures recommended, every 3 months).
I had to take 1 kg out of my bag and through it out.
2-- after we went through the passport check, at the gate, aira rabia agent weighted my play station and labtop, and hand bag. He said more than 7 kg.
100 aed or you do not take it with you.!!!

Elderly passenger troubled

We had booked "confirmed" ticket for 2nd april 2016 from goa to sharjah but the passenger (70+ lady) was sent back home after making her wait for 5 hours at the airport. The reason given to her was "technical problem". But we checked with the sharjah airport and also their office - the said did take off and landed at sharjah safely with passensgers. So there was no technical problem and a blatant lie was told to her. She was told to come the next day. She had to travel back (25kms) at 4am and come the next day (12pm). This has caused her great inconvenience and stress.
Also, we had specially booked her flight on a weekend so that we could pick her up from the airport.
Calls to their head office and several emails went futile. Air arabia just doesn't care for their customers.

Child was not allowed to board
I booked my childrens tickets in emergency having age of 15years and 10 years. The ticket was issued but on travel day the staff refused to board them. I asked for refund but they refused and telling me to read the six pages of ticket. Afterward they allowed by elder sons who is 15 years old to board the flight and send the other child back. No refund was given for second child.
The flight is from DAMMAM to NAGPUR dated 27.09.2014. I am complaining so that I should get the refund for second child. The reservation no. is 36829531 and booking reference is G[protected]

Lost baggage during air journey in Air Arabia flight

My wife Shamla Shajahan bearing passport No.K3751608 had travelled in Air Arabia flight No.G9-133 at 9:10 hrs.from Doha to Sharjah and boarded flight No.G9-449 from Sharjah to Trivandrum on 27/06/2014( E-Ticket Number[protected]. On arriving Trivandrum on the same day at about 7:30 pm she could not collect her baggage weighing about 17 kilograms from the baggage section. On enquiry it was stated that the said baggage has not arrived in the said flight. A complaint was lodged then and there as advised by the Air Arabia staff at the Trivandrum International Airport. They informed her that the baggage will arrive on the next day flight and offered to inform about its arrival then and there. Since nothing has been heard from Air Arabia afterwards, she enquired through the given contact number several times but with no results. It is already 20 days since the baggage was lost but there is no positive response from the Air Arabia authorities about the missed baggage.

Complaint- Gross Misconduct by ground staff at IGI Airport

We recently booked tickets on Air Arabia with booking reference G[protected] and G[protected]. We had unforgettable bad experiences on both the occasion not only impacting us in terms of money and time but also in terms of mental pressure.
In this regard, we have decided to take action against Air Arabia Airlines. Before we go further, we would request for your reply to following pointed questions concerning the incident. :
1) Passenger -Mr. Christi Thomas - was travelling on "Business visa". Why he was asked to show currency of QAR 5000 and also hotel booking ? As per Qatar government law, one is required to show sufficient cash and Hotel Booking only when one is visiting Qatar on tourist visa. Our employee Christi was on Business visa[protected]. It is work business visa.
2) Christi struggled with your unruly ground staff on both the occasions - yesterday and on last Saturday. Yesterday, there was a lady who was not even willing to talk with us on phone and was literally provoking him and shouting on him. Can be expected only out of Air Arabia and not from Airlines like Emirates and Qatar Airways. For 10 minutes she kept telling him that he should have a cash of QAR 5000 in case he wants to travel. Poor Chirsti went to ATM and spent around 20 odd minutes in withdrawing money and then went to Forex to get it converted at higher rates which are generally there at any Airport. He lost some 30 odd minutes and when he came back he was told that he could have avoided that by just showing his debit and credit card. My question here is why he was not asked for credit card or debit card in the beginning itself; otherwise he would not have withdrawn the money from ATM and wasted his crucial time .
Another question, one of our employee - who was travelling with Christi on last Saturday was not asked for any cash or card or hotel booking. Why there was this inconsistency ? Were your ground staff wanted to satiate their ego with Christi or what ?
3) Yesterday, initially, it was pointed to Christi that his visa would not be accepted as there is no space between his name and his father name. However, he tried convincing your ground staff that this was printing formatting error and they can go online and can check details. on www.moi.gov.qa . On the site - it was showing correctly but you people were too insensitive to take that pain. Eventually, two of our directors had to leave crucial meeting and rushed to Airport to provide him snapshot of the webpage showing the space between his and his father name.

The above mentioned staff RYTHM MOMBWANI sitting in the ticket counter told me to remove my cap...I asked heris it necessary as I am frequent traveller and never told like this before...SHE TOLD ME YES VERY COMMANDING AND ROUGH TONE...I removed cap but was very hurt by her inpoliteness as never expect this attitude from customer service staff...later she started talking to her colleague and on phone I told her MADAM PLEASE MAKE IT FAST...she told me again with very rude tone I WILL TAKE MY OWN TIME...I was very hurt and told her MADAM YOU SHOULDNOT TALK TO CUSTOMER LIKE THIS I PAID FOR MY TICKET I AM NOT TRAVELLING FREE...she replied I DONT CARE...I asked her I want to talk to manager she pointed me towards his and told GO AND COMPLAINT...SHE WAS VERY FEARLESS...I went to her manager sitting on extreme left counter the two staff sitting there started pointing me back I LOOKS LIKE TYPICAL GANG SCENARIO...when I told her manager that I am not going to move from here whithout any action then he called her...SHE BECAME EXTREME RUDE INFRONT OF HER MANAGER AND STRTED TALKING TO ME WITH POINTED FINGER...then her manager sent her back and gave me a fake email id to send complaint...SHE DIDNT EVEN SAY SORRY FOR HER ATTITUDE...when after clearing my security i came to gate no. 3 for boarding flight she came there with other staff and started pointing finger on me I IGNORED HER...SHE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND FEARLESS BCOZ SHE KNOWS THAT AIRARABIA DONT CARE FOR GULF TRAVELLERS ...SO THEY ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE ANY ACTION AGAINST HER...I TOOK OUT AIRARABIA EMAIL FROM NET AND SENT THEM MAIL TWICE BUT NO REPLY FROM THEIR SIDE...I DEMAND A STRICTNACTION AGAINST HER AS THE ATTITUDE I FACED FROM HER NEVER FACED WITH ANY AIRLINES BEFORE...WE ARE SPENDING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO TRAVEL WITH THESE AIRLINES FOR COMFORT AND RESPECT NOT FOR THIS ATTITUDE...SHE WAS TREATING CUSTOMER LIKE SLAVES

CHEATING BY AIRLINE
AIR ARABIA AIRLINE CHEATS THE PASSENGER, BY DEPRIVING THE CUSTOMERS OF THEIR SCHEDULED TRAVELS; THEIR MODUS OPERANDI IS TO ISSUE THE BOARDING PASS PRINTED WITH CERTAIN GATE NUMBER AND DEPARTS THE PLANE FROM ANOTHER GATE UN ANNOUNCINGLY; OFF-LOADING THE BONAFIDE PASSEGERS IS NORMAL PRACTICE OF THIS AIRLINE. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO AVOID TRAVELLING ON THIS FULL OF HAZZLES AIRLINE. IF YOU DO, DON'T BE SURPRISED IF YOU ENCOUNTER NIGHTMARES; BON VOYAGE!

Dear Sir,
We are based in Sharjah since last four years with our family. Since the begining, we are regular traveller with AIR ARABIA and are having very high image about its services and staff behaviour.
But I am very sorry to inform you about the very very bad incident took place on 9th March during the travelling with my old parents in law, from Ahmedabad Air Port to Sharjah by AIR ARABIA FLIGHT NO:-
G90486, departing from Ahmedabad at 05.15 am.
My Parents in law are having VALID UAE LONG TERM VISIT VISA [for 90 Days] having following details:-
1) DATE OF ISSUE OF VISA - 8th February '2012 and
2) VALIDITY OF ENTRY - 7th APRIL '2012
3) DATE OF RETURN TICKET - 1st June '2012

BUY NEW RETURN AIR TICKET OF DATE ON OR BEFORE 7TH APRIL 2012.
I have requested AIR ARABIA check in counter staff members many times to talk to my husband [who is in Sharjah talking to me to resolve this MISUNDERSTANDING OF YOUR STAFF MEMBER REGARDING VISA VALIDITY] on phone so that my husband can explain AIR ARABIA STAFF about the validity o[censored]AE LONG TERM VISIT VISA is for 90 DAYS and counting of days shall begin once the person is arrived in UAE and not from the date of booking the air ticket.
But in a very rude manner and not looking at the age of my father in law who is 80 years old and my mother in law who is 74 years old, AIR ARABIA check in staff have created ATMOSPHERE OF GREAT PANIC among my family and threatned that they will not allow in any case to board the flight.
After a very very painful efforts of myself, I have managed to call a senior officer from Immigration Dept. and who has explained to AIR ARABIA staff that the VISA OF MY PARENTS in law ARE VALID & THE RETURN AIR TICKETS DATES IS ALSO IN CONFORMITY WITH RESPECT TO UAE VISA, AND THEY MUST BE
ALLOWED TO BOARD THE FLIGHT.
REASON OF SENDING THIS COMPLAINT IS TO ASSURE THAT SUCH INCIDENT WILL NOT RE OCCUR IN FUTURE WHICH WILL SPOIL THE VERY GOOD IMAGE OF "AIR ARABIA" in our mind. ATLEAST MY
PARENTS HAVE GOT VERY MUCH DISTURBED DUE TO SUCH BAD AND INHUMAN BEHAVIOUR OF AIR ARABIA CHECK IN STAFF WORKING AT AHMEDABAD INTERNATIONAL AIR PORT BECAUSE OF LACK OF KNOWLEDGE IN READING THE UAE VISA.

We are based in Sharjah since last four years with our family. Since the begining, we are regular traveller with AIR ARABIA and are having very high image about its services and staff behaviour.
But I am very sorry to inform you about the very very bad incident took place on 9th March during the travelling with my old parents in law, from Ahmedabad Air Port to Sharjah by AIR ARABIA FLIGHT NO:-
G90486, departing from Ahmedabad at 05.15 am.
My Parents in law are having VALID UAE LONG TERM VISIT VISA [for 90 Days] having following details:-
1) DATE OF ISSUE OF VISA - 8th February '2012 and
2) VALIDITY OF ENTRY - 7th APRIL '2012

I traveled from Istanbul to Ahmedabad via Sharjah on 28th/29th June 2012, and they "lost" my bag -- when they found it and returned it after 3 days (they sent it by a private bus carrier and I had to go to their office to claim my bag, but the Cambata Aviation people gave me the locket/docket number only after 3 phone calls) all wrapped up in plastic, I opened it only to find the following items missing:
* a 8 GB flash drive with all the most recent files I had been working on for months before and during my conference in Istanbul, which was given to me by my son as a birthday gift (how the hell am I going to recover or replace these files?!);
* 3 cans of Turkish and Russian beer (out of 5 cans which I had bought for an old pre-diabetic uncle of mine who loves these exotic beer cans I bring back when I visit India -- he is allowed to cheat on his strict diet only when I visit once a year or so);
and
* about 5-10 USD in loose change in tenge, lira, etc.
The Cambata Aviation ground staff in Ahmedabad are very lax, incompetent and complacent and downright rude when asked for information or to act. While I am not 100% sure that they stole stuff from my bag, I have no other explanation forthcoming from them, besides the utter rot that they trot out. For instance, they tell me I cannot bring beer into Gujarat because it is a "dry state" (nonsense -- I am in transit and due to leave for Bangalore 3-4 days after my arrival and the beer is not meant for consumption in Gujarat).
Who in Air Arabia cares enough to act on this and the above complaints remains to be seen.
Till then I will pursue every channel or option open to me as an aggrieved and really aggravated passenger.

Damaged baggage

On arrival from Sharjah on Air Arabia on 24 Jan 2011 was suitcase was damaged. I immediately registered a Property Irregularity Report with the airline groundstaff. Since then I have written e-mails made phone calls and in May 2011 was advised by e-mail that my claim was approved. However despite regular e-mail reminders & phone calls thereafter the matter still remains unresolved.
Please advise me on further action.

The air arabia has become a complete cheating airline.Fist they wil offer lucrative fares and then either they cancel flights or try to take out their amounts by stealing goods and bags.I have lost my bag after traveling by sharjah-delhi flight. The staff was very poor in handling complains. After madly following the case for 3 months, I got compensation of Rs.9000 only. The staff and the telecallers are very poorand have no knowlwdge. I...

CHEATING BY AIR ARABIA DELHI

Me and my wife had to travel from Kolkata to Sharjah on 25th December 2010 and I decided to book
my tickets through Air Arabia since it advertised fares at reasonable pricing. They had made such an amount of delay to process my Visa Application that at the end they said they do not have seats for travel in December, inspite of me sending them all information at a time when many tickets were available!
I had to then postpone my trip to 14th Jan 2011 but since Air Arabia did not have flights from Kolkata I had to book a ticket on Jet Konnect airlines from Kolkata to New Delhi. On the travel date there was so much
fog in Kolkata that all departing flights got delayed which made our flight reach New Delhi Indira Gandhi Internation Airport Terminal T3 at 11.20AM instead of scheduled 9.05AM arrival time.
The connecting flight from New Delhi to Sharjah through Air Arabia was scheduled to fly at 12.55PM and they were supposed to close the gates 1 hr before departure but in the huge T3 Terminal of New Delhi Airport when we travelled tirelessly to collect our luggage and then proceed to the other end of the Airport to the Air Arabia Check-in counter at 11.50 AM we found it closed and other Airport officials said that they had already left the counters for boarding the aircraft earlier than scheduled. Me and my wife along with our heavy luggage had to run from pillar to post in the huge Airport Terminal asking for help but we could not find any Air Arabia officials anywhere.
When we approached the main Airport Helpdesk they called up Air Arabia Airport office where someone
picked up the call identifying himself as the airlines manager-in-charge who blankly refused to entertain us
and said we could no longer board the flight and we missed it. When we said that we had reached the
counters 5 mins before its scheduled closure he denied it and disconnected the call.
In such a miserable condition, I tried calling up the Air Arabia Booking office, who had made our tickets, but no one picked up the call. After constantly trying for 15mins someone called, Ms. Shweta of Air Arabia finally received the call and after narrating the whole incident she said they can't do anything about it as it was our fault. We told her that we were helpless due to the fog in Kolkata but she turned down our requests of getting us on board the flight.
When we approached Jet Airways Airport ounter they said that since it was due to their flight delay that we
missed the connecting flight they issued a Delay Certificate for the same. They even provided us temporary accomodation if we were unable to catch the connecting flight to Sharjah that day.
We located the Air Arabia Airport office in Delhi which was quite a far walking distance from the T3 terminal
and we had to again take all our luggage and travelled to that place with much difficulty. When we reached
there we met the Air Arabia Manager who identified himself as Mr. Subhasis Mukherjee and after narrating our plight he said that it was he who had spoken to me when we called up their office from the Airport Helpdesk and he had refused us on-board, saying it was rules of the airlines which we said was not valid since we went to the counters 5 mins before scheduled closure, but he said we were late but assured us he would make us fly the next day after making some alternative arrangement and we would be made to
give a small penalty fee. We left after his assurance and we already lost one day from our short Dubai trip via Sharjah to meet our relatives there!
The next day we went to the same Air Arabia Airport office at 8.30 AM and when we approached Mr.
Subhasis Mukherjee he said that the flight was already full and we would have to take new tickets and travel
as extra passengers if possible. This really made us totally nervous, as every day there is only one single
flight of Air Arabia from New Delhi to Sharjah. He made us wait till the last moment saying he will make the
tickets but at around 11.30 AM he said that he received confirmation that our tickets are made and we would have to pay an amuont of about INR 26,000/- for the same immediately.
This fell like a brick on our heads and we were totally confused how we will be able to give such an amount
in such short notice. He then received a call after which he said that we had received our refunds and after
adjusting that amount we need to pay an amount of INR 21,000/- otherwise we would again miss our flight.
We had to run to the ATM to fetch money and after giving that amount we were allowed to rush through all the immigration and security procedures in New Delhi Airport and after running breathlessly to the departing place of aircraft we were informed that like last day their flight was delayed by half hour and also
when we boarded the flight as additional passengers we found that plenty of seats were empty in the aircraft, which proved that Air Arabia officials at New Delhi International Airport had just cheated us and
taken such a huge amount of INR 21,000/- extra whereas our original ticket fare was around INR 12,000/-.
Kindly help us getting the refund of the extra amount af INR 21,000/- which we had to pay forcefully to Air Arabia.

my wife travelled by air arabia on 21 of november by flight G9/403 after she reached mumbai she was having 2 baggages and one hand bag total 3 so she waited for long time but she didnt received one bag and so contacted the responsible person and she was told that no problem may be we will receive tomorrow and he did the paper work and gave the contct no of mumbai office and took my wife contact number after two days she tried to contact several times but no response was given no was picking up the phone then she informed me in dubai and so i called the air arabia office in sharjah to the baggage lost and found no so here they told me that some one else had taken her bag i received the mail he will returned we will let her know so today on 24 any how she contacted the air port air arabia office so told her ok your we received your bag you can come and collect it when she reached air port after 2 hours she found the particular person he gave her the bag she opened and checked all the things are missing and the guy who brought the bag already taken his bag and returned the empty bag so my wife told them were are my things they told we dont know so who is responsible for that is not funny they should have called in front of that man and after that they must give him his bag the guy is from bangalore its seem that the things were robbed by air whom ? so kindly do the need ful and look in to this matter she lost the valuables which were costing 30 thousand indian rs my wife was crying on phone very funny kindly let me know what can be done thank you

Indian Airlines — No Response against Damaged Baggage Report
Dear Sir,I had registered a complaint against my damaged bag recovered after arrival to Indian Airlines, Bangalore. My complaint file no. is BLR/DBR IC 014 dated 24 feb 2008 for flight IC 403 From New Delhi To Bangalore.I have received my bag with pad lock broken condition.

Do you have an international destination? If you you should keep your luggage unlocked, or a internationally recognisable lock (where authorities will have key). If locked otherwise after sept 11, Airport/security authories have right to brake open and they are doing it.

Airarabia — lost my LCD and didn't pay after 45 days
I have lost my LCD TV more than 2 months ago during a flight from sharjah to beirut and they didnt compensate me after 45 days as per their policy. G9 433 of 15th Oct 2012 landing at Jaipur have lost baggage two numbers of my family. Jaipur airport personal issued one paper for lost baggage and told she will informed on phone & till now no anouncements.

Laptop left after security screening in Sharjah airport gate 25
I traveled by Air Arabia flights G9 128 from Kuwait Sharjah on 21st Jan 2016. Around 10pm local time I put my hand baggage and the laptop in separate trays. After screening, I placed the bag and laptop and as there was only 25 minutes left to catch the Sharjah to Coimbatore flight G9 413 ( departure 1025pm local time), I left my laptop on the table and boarded the flight.
I checked my hand bag in Coimbatore airport and realised that I did not take my laptop in the Sharjah airport and I made a written complaint in Coimbatore airport.

I have checked in 2 luggage in Air Arabia G9 220 at JIZAN airport but I didn't board in that flight, Air Arabia staff did not allow me to board at JIZAN airport,
they said my sequence number(SEQ/82) is already boarded in that flight. How can this possible two boarding pass with same sequence number(SEQ/82).
I contacted with the one of Air Arabia's staff(Walid) and he was told that this is Air Arabia's staff mistake but they did not arrange any other flight for me.so that i booked another flight ticket and paid 2000 Dh.
when i asked for my checked in luggage, one of Air Arabia's staff(Walid) was told me that my luggage has been fly from JIZAN to SHARJAH with Air Arabia G9 220 and he sent a E-mail to SHARJAN for send my checked in luggage to Delhi.
Then I came to Delhi in another flight but I didn't got my luggage. Air Arabia's staff is not responding well, even they did not take my complaint.
Please find the attached Boarding pass, luggage tag and below my concern.

During My Flight KUWAIT-SHARJA-CALICUT (Departure 16/11/10 18:25- Arrival 17/11/10 03:25) I lost expensive mobile phone and some small items from my luggage.
I already complained to Calicut Office(YMCA) but they are telling I should complain from Airport itself. How I will come to know this Item is stolen without checking. If they are not giving compensation and not taking these robberies seriously, this will continue. Company is cheating passengers by this.

Departed from : GOI/SHJ at 3:45 am and arrived in SHJ at 5:25 am on 01/9/2010.
I had checked in two bags properly locked but on arrival when I opened my bag I realized the gold items from the envelope from my Red bag were stolen.
I sent several emails to Sharjah customer relation officer Mr Hassan as well as in Goa Air Arabia office Ms Jamila but till date no one has processed my complaint neither they called my enquiring about my complain
I request you to kindly help me to investigate the matter and with whome i can deal with my above complain.

I traveled from Istanbul to Ahmedabad via Sharjah on 28th/29th June 2012, and they "lost" my bag -- when they found it and returned it after 3 days (they sent it by a private bus carrier but gave me the locket/docket number only after 3 phone calls) all wrapped up in plastic, I opened it only to find the following items missing:
* a 8 GB flash drive with all the most recent files I had been working on for months before and during my conference in Istanbul), which was given to me by my son as a birthday gift (how the flipping hell am I going to recover these files?!);
* 3 cans of Turkish and Russian beer (out of 5 cans which I had bought for an old pre-diabetic uncle of mine who loves these exotic beer cans I bring back when I visit India -- he is allowed to cheat on his strict diet only when I visit once a year or so);
and
* about 5-10 USD in loose change in tenge, lira, etc.
The Cambata Aviation ground staff in Ahmedabad are very lax, incompetent and complacent and downright rude when asked for information or to act. While I am not 100% sure that they stole stuff from my bag, I have no other explanation forthcoming from them, besides the utter rot that they trot out. For instance, they tell me I cannot bring beer into Gujarat because it is a "dry state" (nonsense -- I am in transit and due to leave for Bangalore 3-4 days after my arrival and the beer is not meant for consumption in Gujarat).
Who in Air Arabia cares enough to act on this and the above complaints remains to be seen.
Till then I will pursue every channel or option open to me as an aggrieved and really aggravated passenger.

Rude Ground Staff of Air Arabia at Kochi Airport
I am an Indian working in BAHRAIN and I was choosing air Arabia for my round trip. I would like to draw to your attention an incident happen while I travel from Kochi to Bahrain on 10th August 2010
I have been in Bahrain approximately 7 years, and it's first time choosing Air Arabia.
And after my check in I was standing for immigration clearance unfortunately any counter was not open in early morning so there was long queue and time being I fill up the form and reach the counter, then only I realize that I don't have boarding pass so I approach same staff in check in counter regarding my boarding pass, she reply that we already issued so please double check in your hand bags etc, but I am sure that I didn't move any where after my check in I was just walk in to immigration counter.
after long discussion & chat she issue duplicate boarding pass and suppose to hand over to me, unfortunately in between a supervisor appear and she started another arguments for nothing gradually her voice is turn to scream and she grab the boarding pass from another staff tear to many piece and through it in dustbin, I can feel that she say to me let me see how you travelling.
Also imagine how it will be some one who leaving his family and return his work place, and I was so tensioned & depressed with her attitude and words. And her name is: Ms. Mini Kamala Mohan (Supervisor). I am really request and advice that please don't entertain this type of staff to get a bad image for your recognised air line and I am so shameful that got to know she is an Indian.
Finally after few minute another male supervisor approach me for a quick chat and info me that no worries we will issue another boarding pass and safely reach at my destination.

Now, I need to utilize this balance for my journey in the month of december. I went to air arabia office today, and they say its not possible. The reason is that her passport says our mother's name as 'Shameem Bano' and mine says 'Shameem Gaffar.' Shameem Bano is my mother's maid-in name and Gaffar Khan is my father. Its obvious that after marriage a woman's name is changed to her husband's. But the representative in air arabia office in Bangalore, India told me this is not possible, and also behaved quite rude.
My sister will not be travelling to UAE again. So, I need to utilize the remaining credit.
Now what should I do?

Tickets issued without checking visa
I had booked my flight to Muscat via Sharjah through Air Arabia last month.
My travel date was last week. When I reached the airport ,the
Air Arabia check -in team told me that my visa had been cancelled and there was no way that my daughter ( 4.5 yrs old ) and I could travel. Though I had a valid visa as per the dates , according to the 180 days rule( me and my daughter had stayed in India for more than 180 days) our resident visa had been cancelled. I could have very well booked my tickets through internet ( and paid less transaction fees ), but to be on the safe side I had booked through the Air Arabia office. I was suppossed to have a 4 day halt at UAE ( transit visa , which was also booked through Air Arabia office ). They gave me a UAE visa without a valid Muscat visa ( any Gulf country visa ).They had even reviewed our passports before booking our ticket and UAE visa.
Now all our family holiday plans have gone awry , not mentioning the cost and hassles we went through for the same.I have already called the Andheri office
a couple of times and the answer I get is that , they can give me only part compensation , because I missed the Sharjah flight ( though it is due to their mistake ).The other answer is that Seniors are not around , so they cannot do anything better than give part compensation.They agree it is not my fault , but at the same time they do want to compensate me for the entire cost.

Air Arabia check -in team told me that my visa had been cancelled and there was no way that my daughter ( 4.5 yrs old ) and I could travel. Though I had a valid visa as per the dates , according to the 180 days rule( me and my daughter had stayed in India for more than 180 days) our resident visa had been cancelled. I am sorry your holiday plans were disrupted. There are however a few facts that I would like to bring to your notice, so that you and several people who read this note are aware on the regulations and avoid similar situation in the future:
1- Visa to a country is the sole responsibility of the traveler, the airlines do not have the obligation to do these checks at the time of ticket sale. There are several instances when a traveler procures the ticket before arranging for the visa. Due to such variances that part is left to the traveler's ownership
2- The UAE visa is issued to you on the basis of the Indian passport and not of you being a resident of Oman. Hence at that point too your Oman residency does not go through a check.

Stolen handycam from luggage
On my flight to delhi to Sharjah my luggage was opened, lock broken and goods stolen , including a handycam. It is a matter of great concern disappointment towards the level of service provided by Air Arabia. It shakes the confidance from the passenged to trust our luggage to the airline. I have tried to speak to a representative from the airline and lodge an official complaint, but failed as i was informed there was no such service which runs round the clock. I will be speaking to Mr Mohammad Abdil Aleem, as I have been informed by the customer care representative. I expect to get a quick and fruitful reply and resolution from the airline to restore the faith and association with the Airline.
This is not an isolated case and niether fight for one object it shakes the entire trust which consumers shows in airlines by handing over their luggage to them.
Please let me know the steps that can be followed to brin them to justice.

I am very disappointed from air arabia delhi staff specially a executive Ms Sapna. i have given Rs 20, 000 for visa security and now after coming back when i have submitted the relevant documents also after coming back they have taken more than a month for refunding the money. sometime their boss is out and sometime other reason. we are on mercy on them because they have my money. i stay in ghaziabad and their office in delhi. they asked me to send a person with authority to collect and that also on their mercy when cheque will be ready. I really request my friend not to use air arabia. This is not a international airlines even if you will visit their office you will understand. if staff like Ms Sapna will serve in the airline it will add another feather in status of Air line.
We got no problem during travelling but staff is not supportive at all.
I request all not to use the airlines at all until the staff don't change the attitude.

Just wanted to add my story, I flew from Istanbul to Delhi via Sharjah in March 2013 and have had around $2000 worth of goods stolen from my bag. So far no satisfactory response from Air Arabia.

Rude Ground Staff
Last week I returned from a family vacation in Amman, Jordan. We were flying Air Arabia which was fairly efficient and met expectations of a low budget airline. However we got a nasty surprise at the departure gate from a ground staff of AA. She announced that all Indians are to board the flight first. Though mildly surprised by the emphasis on Indians, I let it pass thinking that since there was a big pilgrimage group from India, she was referring to them in general. I stayed seated waiting for the initial rush to die down but immediately caught the attention of this very diligent lady. She insisted that I too board the flight with my family. I told her that I am not part of the group and will board once the crowd gets cleared. She became very persistent and then I asked why should I board against my wishes and why only Indians are being asked to go first. She responded that the rest were traveling (hold your breath), Business Class!!! Air Arabia has only class of flight and I pointed this out to her and explained that we are Indians yes but not free travelers. She threatened to call security if I did not stop arguing with her. I could not believe that she would have the gall to behave rudely and then pretend to be the aggrieved party. I was ready to continue but left the place more because my wife insisted that I do not escalate this any further. I put a complaint note to the flight purser doubting very much if anything much will come of it. I write this just to let all fellow Indian fliers know that we should not take this kind of racist behavior lightly and make a concerted effort to fight it and highlight it immediately. But first we have to have our house in order too!

Credit Card — Rude behaviour of the staff
I was late in paying my credit card bill and later i paid the minimun amount due but the concerned person who called me kept on calling me even after i made the payment...she called me 10-12 times in a day and her behaviour was so rude...i even told her that why is she calling me now as i had made the payment..then she used to disconnect the phone and then call again...disgusting on their part... They are a bunch of thieves.
I received a call from my Bank telling me that someone was buying tickets in Air Arabia with my credit card. I tried to cancel the orders, but three of them passed through, even with the fact that I got the called the same day of the purchase.
I send a lot of emails to Air Arabia and I didn't receive any answer back. I even contacted them before the day the tickets were supposed to be used.
I understand the must check that the person that purchased and e-ticket presents the physical credit card.
How the hell was that possible when the credit card was in my possesion and almost 10, 000 miles away?!!

Air Arabia has got depressing staff. When i went for luggage check in, they told me that there was an excess of 14 kgs. I told them i'll take that bag of 8kgs as my hand bag, and then, unbelievable.. they weighed in my bagpack and my laptop. i told thm tht i dun carry purses and thts why i'm carrying a bagpack which is just 3kgs. But they're not at all cooperative. After sometime of arguments.. in which even the manager Mr. Rajesh was involved, an extremely rude fellow, we paid the excess of 3kgs.. Then after reaching my destination I found on the airport that the bag for which I had paid excess was missing. The next day i came to know that that particular bag was not even sent to the flight.. this was a horrible experience travelling by air arabia under the management of Mr. Rajesh in Mumbai, India. The previous manager (who was a female) was extremely kind and understanding, and even in case of excess, she told us kindly and not rudely. Atleast she never took out her revenge by not sending us the luggage. I request Air Arabia to appoint better people for management... especially the one in Mumbai International Airport.

They are not at all cooperative. I was alone and being a single lady i was helpless. I took out my excess luggage and left in Canteen at airport. This was my first worst experience with this flight. I am also in customer service. I know how to serve customers. But this was really disappointing to see the Air Arabia staff at Ahmedabad airport. They are not eligible for such job profile. I request Air Arabia to appoint better people for management... especially the one in Ahmedabad International Airport. Especially the lady Ms Naurin Thaiyani should be taught how to interact with the customer. I will never fly with this flight in future. Better to spend more money on other flights.

Its obvious that after marriage a woman's name is changed to her husband's. But the representative in air arabia office in Bangalore, India told me this is not possible, and also behaved quite rude.
My sister will not be travelling to UAE again. So, I need to utilize the remaining credit.

I traveled from Istanbul to Ahmedabad via Sharjah on 28th/29th June 2012, and they "lost" my bag -- when they found it and returned it after 3 days (they sent it by a private bus carrier and I had to go to their office yo claim my bag, but the Cambata Aviation people gave me the locket/docket number only after 3 phone calls) all wrapped up in plastic, I opened it only to find the following items missing:
* a 8 GB flash drive with all the most recent files I had been working on for months before and during my conference in Istanbul, which was given to me by my son as a birthday gift (how the flipping hell am I going to recover these files?!);
* 3 cans of Turkish and Russian beer (out of 5 cans which I had bought for an old pre-diabetic uncle of mine who loves these exotic beer cans I bring back when I visit India -- he is allowed to cheat on his strict diet only when I visit once a year or so);
and
* about 5-10 USD in loose change in tenge, lira, etc.
The Cambata Aviation ground staff in Ahmedabad are very lax, incompetent and complacent and downright rude when asked for information or to act. While I am not 100% sure that they stole stuff from my bag, I have no other explanation forthcoming from them, besides the utter rot that they trot out. For instance, they tell me I cannot bring beer into Gujarat because it is a "dry state" (nonsense -- I am in transit and due to leave for Bangalore 3-4 days after my arrival and the beer is not meant for consumption in Gujarat).
Who in Air Arabia cares enough to act on this and the above complaints remains to be seen.
Till then I will pursue every channel or option open to me as an aggrieved and really aggravated passenger.

Last week I was travelling from sharjah to Bangalore, and a flight attendant of Air Arabia dropped coffee on me . This has caused blisters and a big wound.

the worst service provider I ever seen is the air Arabia, they demand money for everything i[censored] want to avoid a passenger line you find the person begging for 50aed to avoid the line, which is appointed by air Arabia. surprisingly i[censored] book online ticket we need to be careful they count for only 20kg and demand for addition baggage weight, i[censored] pay for that u see the staff crew standing far from duty free to weight the baggage and just they rob the money i[censored] have dutyfree item, telling the baggage should be 10kg including duty free item. why these people wont tell us before purchasing. they demand as they wish and trouble too much before entering in to the flight.

I was disappointed to hear from the crew that the airline did not supply them with any copies of the on board sky café menu or food menu. The only thing we've been offered to buy or eat was a choice of disgusting chicken or cheese sandwiches!
During our return and only 20 minutes before landing that my daughter found a copy of the menu under her seat full of delicious hot and cold meals, snacks, pastries, candies and drinks that were all available but hidden from passengers!
How do you explain that and why?

This a horrible airline, your travel bag will never reach on time. My wife and kid travel on 22/06/2014 in G9517 flight, they did not get baggage. I called their help line several times nobody pick up the call.
More than 85 passengers did not receive their baggage. We had frozen baby food on the baggage. During the baggage drop, we asked will it reach on the same time, they promised but they did not keep their promise.
I think it is useless airlines.

I was travelling from Sharjah international...1
Subhabrata Sarkar (Passport no.J4837502)travelled from Sharjah to Delhi in flight no.G90 465 dated 27th of July 2016. There were two check in luggages with tag no. G9 822650 and G9 822651. Upon arriving Delhi we received only the luggage with tag no. G9 822650 and other one (822651) was missing.
Please help.
