Auto driver was extremely rude, he misbehaved and took long route and also charged extra fare.

Strict action should be taken against this auto driver, who harass customer just to make money. And don't even use meter in auto.
They just make customer fool, misbehave with them on the way, and then at last charge extremely high fare.

Today i took auto from bandra kurla complex north avenue 5 to bandra station in sharing and there was another guy who was there in same auto. Than the driver started searching for 3rd share person for the destination for approx 5 minutes and when he was unable to do that after crossing bkc gate he said to get down there and he will take a turn from here. I asked how can you leave us here what if we dont get another auto he answered that i dont know its your lookout. I started arguing and told him to take us to bandra station than the sharing person who was there with me in the auto said we will give 30 instead of 20 but please drop and the driver dropped us only on the condition of paying higher sharing amount. I am attaching the photo of that auto number which i took after getting down from auto at bandra station in this complaint kindly look after this same as in the morning from kurla station to take auto the drivers was going empty but refusing to take anyone even though people were standing in a que from 1 hour and if there is cctv outside kurla station area than you can run it and see what was the condition for 26th april 2019 from from 8.30 to 9.30 atleast. Please take a action on this strictly.

My son was coming from school (Giis chinchwad) to our society (Greens, thergaon). Generally with ola its rs. 50. But, as my son was not carrying phone he got a auto rickshaw on the road. He asked for rs. 100, which is double the normal amount. When he dropped my son at society he asked for rs. 150. Can traffic police take a strict action against driver? Yesterday coming from ghaziabad railway station to noida my auto driver left me in the middle way and asked me to board a different auto as he got an emergency call from home and has to leave immediately.
In the hastle i forget my blue trolley bag which was kept behind.
I don't have any contact details of the auto driver neither do i have the auto number.
But the authority taking charge of autos operating from ghaziabad railway station would surely have details about him.

I harshita nair left my wedding saree (Red in colour) in the auto rickshaw. I boarded the rickshaw from everard nagar, sion at time between 9.00 am to 9.07 am. I was dropped at mtnl signal, bandra kurla complet at time between 9.35 to 9.45 am. The saree is in a red cloth cover.

I am living in nedupuzha, thrissur dt.,, today my mother & sister took an auto from thrissur (Cooprative hospital) to nedupuzha (Near bsnl tele exg.). Shockingly. The driver charged rs. 180 (Normally it comes rs. 90) (It is just 5 kms journey). When i ask this, he is behaving very rowdily. Dear sir,
On 30/10/2018 me and my mother travel to Vadodara for some personal purpose.
From Vadodara bus depo. We had took AutoRickshaw to SaptaPati party plot, channi, Vadodara.
Without taking fare as per metre he ask us to pay Rs.60 to SaptaPati party plot. Normally Rickshaw driver takes Rs.40 to 50 and he ask us for Rs.60 then also we agree and took that rickshaw.
After traveling in rickshaw for 2 to 3km he ask us to give extra Rs.10 and he started to giving different reasons. So totally he ask us to pay Rs.70.
We disagree with him because we already fix fare about Rs.60 then also he was forcing us to pay Rs.70.
When we said we'll pay fare as per decided he started to raised his voice against me and my mother and give 2 option either to pay Rs.70 or leave rickshaw right now.
We told to pay fare as per decided so he shout on us and leave us in between the road.
So sir please took action against that rickshaw driver and add my complain again his behaviour, against taking higher fare and leaving customers in between the way with shouting on them

So please take action against him as soon as possible.

Bisleri in chakala (Andheri east) to bangur nagar (Goregaon west) takes about rs. 120-130 everyday, both by the highway and sv road. Today, when i travelled at 9 pm (Like i do on all other days) by sv road, the fare came to 164. There was close to no traffic and no side roads were taken. The fare has never been this high.

Please check the meter.

एक साल से ज्यादा समय हो गया है, साकीनाका मेट्रो स्टेशन से चांदिवली तक ऑटो रिक्शा चलती हैं। यहाँ ८०% से ज्यादा रिक्शा चलाने वाले के पास लाइसेंस भी नहीं हैं और यह रिक्शा वाले मुंबई जैसे जगह पर ४ पैसेंजर को बिठाते हैं। यह चालक सुबह साकीनाका से प्रति पैसेंजर ₹ १५ और शाम को प्रति पैसेंजर ₹ २० लेते हैं। जहाँ पर ₹ १८ भी से ज्यादा मीटर भाड़ा नहीं होता है वहाँ पर नियमों को उल्लघंन करके लोगों से ₹ ६० और ₹ ८० रुपये लिया जाता हैं। यह रिक्शा चालक जल्द से जल्द भाड़ा कमाने के लिए बहुत रफ ड्राइविंग करते है, सिग्नल तोड़ते है और गलत रास्ते से चलाते हैं। इस हफ्ते के शुक्रवार को इनके वज़ह से सही रास्ते पर होंडा एक्टिवा चलाने वाले का अपघात हुआ था। यहाँ पर कुछ समय के लिये बेस्ट बसेस भी चलती थी लेकिन उसे भी बंद किया गया। इसलिए लोगों को न चाहते हुए रिक्शा से सवारी करके अपनी जान धोके में डालनी पड़ती हैं।

I was asking for proper 10/- rs note in return because the note he was providing was old and teared. But the driver was refusing. When i asked why he is not providing as that old note will not be useful for me and cannot be used further, he started saying inappropriate words and fighting back in return.

This is a harassment. It is like we are helpless and cannot stand even for the rights.
Request you to please take proper action against such auto rickshaw drivers.

Hi i am krunal shah and i took a rickshaw rto no. Mh 03 bn 0259,
On[protected] @ around 8.00 pm in evening from ghatkopar (Gangawadi corner) to bandra terminus (Bdts). Driver told me that he will take me to bdts from highway and he will charge me rs.50 extra on top of meter charges and i accepted it. Due to reach on time on station i accepted the demand of driver.

But his rickshaw meter is tempered or what i have no idea but its work very fast & quick. My journey in rickshaw from ghatkopar to bandra terminus cost me rs.500.00... Total rs.450.00 he charged me as per rickshaw meter and rs.50 extra as he asked me on top of meter reading because he knows that i need to reach station on time.

I asked him two to three times during my journey that your meter is very fast and it should not cost me more than rs.150 from the destination. But he did not listen it and said meter is right and he can't do anything. He said due to we come from highway its charge more. I said regularly i am coming from bdts to ghatkopar it's never charge me more than rs.150. How come its rs.450.00 in your meter.

Driver was very arrogent and he knows that i have to catch the train so he don't want to listen anything and he need only money.

That day he done with and me may be more will be the victim from this auto.

That was very pathetic and unacceptable experience in mumbai.

I took a ride from dmart shopping centre, 1-a, laxman tower,, mithagar rd, anand park, kandarpada, dahisar west, mumbai, maharashtra 400068 to paradise tower, krishna colony, dahisar east, mumbai, maharashtra 400068 on 21 oct 2017.

It is hardly a 1.3km distance, but the auto driver took me from cs link road - western express highway - station road. The ride which usually costs minimum fare of 18 rupees was 44rupees.

Mh12 js 0835 auto rickshaw driver's offensive behaviour and tempered meter.
On 25th sept. 2017 we were travelling from thorat udyaan near shivaji putala kothrud stand to city pride kothrud which is approximatly 1.7 km. As we reached to destination as the driver applied breaks the meter shut down and restarted showing an incorrect charge of rs. 58. As we are travelled various time by that route we were aware that the charges incorrect and we also told this to the driver but he started to abuse us and spoke in a very offensive manner. Helplessly after 5 mins as he was not ready to listen and contiounsly abusing we paid him 60 rs.

Please look into this matter as soon as possible. So that some one else does not suffer the same.

With my regular travel experience at around 5:30am in the morning with no traffic at all i pay 18-20rs but today this rickshaw had noticeable tampered meter.
He had the new digital meter and the cost went up from 18rs to 27rs within seconds. When i asked him about tampering he refused.
There is noone i know that i can reach to with this problem.

Description - charged two time for one bill. And even after 5 days of the incident i didn't get the refund. They are not even replying what is the issue and when i will get my money back. I talked to so many people including billing counter person, another person from the store named manas, manager (No is given), max customer care (3 different people). Mh03ba6699 is the rickshaw which i took from times square at about 1:30 am in the night by what he time i reached western express metro the meter of the auto showed rs 122 for 3.3 kms based on the meter i stoped the auto then and there on which i got some harsh word from the auto driver.

Is it good for an auto to cheat a passenger on the other front he says jisko complain karne hai kar le in a rude way. It has been such a bad experience and i doubt i would ever take a rickshaw again.. I request the authority to take strict action against the same and suspend the auto which cheats people.

Today i took rickshaw from sakinaka junction to chandivali chawk where my office is upon reaching the area he refused to go in the compound gate where security checking is done. He dropped my off & was very rude. I said i will complaint about him he said "bahut aaye aur gaye kuch nahi hota"

I took the driver rickshaw number & his pic also. Kindly look into the matter as this has been increasing in the city they refuse to drop you at you destination saying me yahan tak he jaonga.

He must have been carrying something illegal that why he didn't wanted to go in for security checking.

I am a resident of bhayander east. The rickshaw fare from bhayander station to my place is 12 rupees. I gave the rickshaw driver 50 rupees. He did not have 8 rupees change and started arguing with me and using slang languages. Later he remove change and gave in my have and drove in speed while I was counting. That stupid fellow gave me only 30 rupees back. I want him to get punished and have his license cancelled. Not for the sake of the balance 8 rupees change but for misbehaving with a female passanger. I was near high road trissur and I got into an auto with auto number KL 05 AZ 2513 to reach mannathy bye pass opposite south india ATM. Auto driver turned on the meter and the fare was Rs. 76 he returned Rs. 350 change and said the base fare is 20 Rs per km so it's 150 and drove off. Before I could speak a word or bargain or shout he is gone.., I took a picture of the auto immediately when he was leaving .
This auto driver charged double and drove off. It was clear exploitation of the outsider.
Please take action on this driver as soon as possible.

Today on 18th of February 2017 I have hired a rickshaw from shyamal cross road to Ahmedabad railway station, auto rickshaw driver said he will charge according to meter, when I reached the destination the meter reading was 164 according to which the fare should have been Rs 74 but he asked me to give 150 when I refused and asked for the fare chart he started talking rudely and asked for Rs 120 then he took the price chart and showed me night fare, i told him this is charge of night fare and showed him the correct one which stated Rs 74.I gave him Rs 100 and asked for my Rs 20 then he didn't gave and ran.

The rickshaw number was GJ 1 AX007.
I took the auto at 6:20 am and left at 6:50

There are about 10 rickshaws standing near Hiranandani junction GB Rd. Thane West. But not 1 agrees to ply, they state they are only for sharing. There is no board whatsoever mentioning the same.

Sir today I was traveling from office to home I picked up a rickshaw how overcharged me 3* times more from actual fare because I refused to sit in front with the driver because this is illegal and against the rules and safety and when I asked him to return my money back he started using bad language

There are no standards on rates, rate meter auto walas are using. Everyday a common man is fighting with these creatures. Better to have an integrated gps and standard electronic rate meter and have a central control. Also impart some basic training on attitudes, behavior and customer service. Also i observed lot of auto walas are even not authorized mostly the people who runs shuttle service.

On 24.07.2016 at 5.50 pm i hired an auto rickshaw from panampilly nagar to vazhakkala, kakkanad with my two kids, one is of age four and other is one. he was driving very fastly that i thought i would fell down from the vehicle. my younger was crying in the auto because of this high speed.

I used to travel between this two places very frequently and i used to pay only rs. 160/- and very rarely at the maximum of rs.180. but that day, the driver insisted for rs. 240/- and he said its return charge and i had no other option, i paid the amount rs.240/-. when i told him that i would complain this matter to the concerned authorities, he replied that nothing would happen and went away. the registration number of the auto rickshaw is kl 43 e-9727.

I request the concerned authorities to initiate action against the over charging of auto fare and request you to update me.

Auto Number : AP13Y1417, I took this auto from Gudimalkapur (Mehdipatnam) to Dwarakapuri Colony (near to Punjagutta). I am daily traveller and I always the auto drivers to go-by meter. Today(this auto wala : AP13Y1417) stopped and asked for where to go. I said the destination details asked to go-by meter, otherwise I will not take his auto. He said there is a problem with the meter and I know the you go by auto most of the times, so you know how much it will be and please pay accordingly. After reaching the destination (which is about 6.8 kms), I gave him Rs.100 note and said it will be Rs72.00 by meter. Then he started harassing that there is so much traffic and the deal was for 120/- no you are asking to tak 80/- and he started yelling on the road at my office.I tried calling the Punagutta police station, then he suddenly went-way.

1. I live in Myhomes Jewel, Madinaguda, Hyderabad. From backside gate of MHJ, there are some 7 to 8 auto guys sit there. Many people from MHJ travel to Mindspace, Hitech city. It is about 9.5 to 10km and if they really charge according to meter, it would be around 100 to 110 depending on the traffic. But they are asking for anywhere between 150 to 170 and they refuse to come any lesser amount. And the main problem is if any other auto guys who come from different places are ready to take us to mindspace for lesser price, those guys who sit at MHJ try to fight with those auto guys and create a nuisance. Facing this problem everyday and they are making our lives miserable. Can someone address this kind of issues and make Hyderabad, a city to live peacefully. Not only about Madinaguda, everywhere this problem in Hyderabad.. please help the common people and take some actions. I have noted down few Auto numbers. AP23 TA 1668 AP09 Y 1670 AP23 V 5357 2. I wanted to bring to your notice about the autowallas in hyderabad.
They are the most uncultured persons you find on the road.

They firstly dont agree to come...if they agree...they dont run the mter...and demand for more fare.

today we took an auto from gachibowli to kondapur...the autowalla told the charge as rs 40...when we got down..he increased the carge and was demanding rs 50...when we refused to pay...he was abusing us...

Keelkattalai bus stop to Ford workshop in Pallikaranai, Chennai. Auto driver claimed that the meter is not working and hence cannot ply. When I insisted, he went on with nasty reply. Took a note of the Regn No by clicking a photograph but the driver chased me till the destination and insisted that I join him to the police station with him. Since I had another appointment, I refused. He took snaps of me in public and went ahead.

I hired a auto from Ayappankavu to Highcourt ,as the auto is parked the other side of the road ,i called the auto to my side,it is so that they go through the main road,this fellow who turned this auto to me a started yelling at me in a loud voice that why did we want to go through this main road and he talked in a very inappropriate manner , i could nt a word against him as he was yelling at a loud voice. Usually i call the various auto from this stand they all go through the main road , but this guy was so rude.and he want to go the other way.if he do so want in other way he could tell me properly to go other way but he acted so rude.

I ask the respected authorities to take necessary actions to take action against him,this way of treating the customers has to be stopped ,people all over the state face this kind o problems .Authorities has to take actions to cut their license,Only this could solve the problem.

Hi, today i travelled from Jaynagar to Jp nagar. I sat in the auto and told him to take me to ragi guda temple JP nagar, he stopped the vehicle opposite to Central Mall at JP nagar saying there is no gas in the auto and i have to get down. The meter showed Rs 42 and I gave him 500, he suddenly changed the note while i was looking for a change of 2 rs in my bag and then he said that I did not give him Rs 500 and instead gave him a 10 rupee note. I could not ask for help as I got panic and left the rick. The auto number was KA05 9860.
