On 27th Oct 2011, we took an auto from Borivali West Shimpoli to Andheri East MIDC. Being a holiday there was not traffic at all & the normal auto fare comes to around Rs. 120-130.00 via Aarey Colony route. Auto Rickshaw

I would like to complaint against an auto rickshaw service provider who was demanding Rs.125 at 08.30 PM for a service of one kilometre (From ISKON to Shankarmutt, Basaweshwar nagar,). The registration number of auto rickshaw is KA-05-AB-9283.

Refusing to ferry passenger to desired location

Hi, I'd like to register a complaint against an autorickshaw with license number MH-02 VA 5071. The driver refused to take me to Andheri station from Chakala cigarette factory on the 20th June 2011. Besides, he did not even possess a valid driving license and even spoke rudely. Dear All,

I am really fed up of rates charged by Autowalas in Ghaziabad and Noida location.

First of they don't have any meter installed and then they charge you any amount they desire. For instance they will charge you anything between 50 to 70 rupees for a distance of just 3-4 Kms. I think this is not justified.

They will refuse to take people and may stand there for hours but will not...

Hi,
The complaint is regarding tampering of the meter and excess fare being charged by the auto with registration no. - KA 02 4427. The travel was from CVR to Bellandur which is a distance under 12km and the fare is under Rs. 80. The auto meter showed a reading of Rs. 103 which is well in excess by more than Rs 20.

Kindly take appropriate actions to bring the situation under control

Driver threatens to beat

Its common in Hyderabad to travel by larger Autorickshaw (7-seater), one of the drivers stops for me to board, when I found that it was full with 12 people in it I refused, instead I boarded another one following in the same road. The driver of the first one threatens to beat me, follows for some distance as well with the passengers still in auto. Any suggestions if we can penalize this guy? I can get the auto number though....

No fixed fare

Sealdah to Canning Street does't have a fixed fare, They charge Rs.15/- from new customers, and who knows the exact rate they give Rs.10/-.

I think police should interfare and take the extra income earned by them, because auto rikshaw drivers are just making the customers fool.

Today only one driver took Rs.15/- from me, when I told him I travel daily and I pay Rs.10/-, then he started arguing and forcefully...
