Excess Fair

Today morning at 6.55 AM we came to Bangalore Majestic from our native and asked a auto fellow (Reg No. KA-02 AB3125) to take us to Jayanagar. But he asked more than the meter rate then we catched another auto and came. This is not the first time, every time we are facing this kind of excess fair problem at Mejestic. I am quoting my experience with the autowallas standing near Vydehi hospital. The autowallas here have a sort o[censored]nion and charge Rs. 20 since 2 years (that I have seen) for going from Vydehi Bus stop to Accenture office which is less than a kilometer. Auto driver not going by meter and shouting

Bangalore Auto is the worst Auto system in this universe. They do not go by meter. All most all the auto in the Vignannagar area do not take fee by meter. Another thing they do is if you tell for some place and get down before the place shey threat you telling they will take you to the police station. Mostly they are doing this to the women now. Cheated by auto driver

I availed of this auto - KA-05-4868 from Majestic Bus Stand to HSR Layout on 23 July 2009 in the morning. The auto driver asked for 1.5 times meter fare, to which I agreed. The total fare came to Rs 230 and I handed him Rs 250. He said he did not have change and as I was getting down, he said that I had paid him only Rs 160 and not Rs 250.

I clearly recalled having handed out two Rs 100 notes and a Rs 50 note and therefore...

Very rude and cheat

There is an auto with no. KA 03 - 9337 . I had asked him to take me from BTM to Trinity Circle in MG Road. Initially he asked 20 rupees extra on the meter but finally settled on the meter. But I noticed he knowingly took a long path and when I was ahead of Diary Circle, I found his meter was fraud one and it was some 56 rupees from BTM till there. I asked him to stop the auto and drop me there and gave him 100 rupees as I didnt have change....

Excess Fare Demands

Hi

Almost all the auto-drivers in Whitefield, Marathahalli and Yamalur area, dont go by the meter-reading. They charge exorbitant amount (e.g. for 3.5 kms distance from Marathahalli to Yamalur, the normal meter reading would be 27-28, but they ask for 60/-) and they dont have the display system for auto-driver's name and DL details. If asked for, they start arguing and threatening.
