I am writing to report a distressing incident that occurred during my recent cab booking with your company, which involved deceptive practices, overcharging, and a rude driver. I am seeking a resolution to this issue and a refund for the extra amount I paid.

Its a Fraud and charge double
It is fraud and very worst and bad experience. I had booked a cab to outstation for both up and down. They called me at last moment 15 mins before and informing U have booked for one way. Then they say us to cancel the trip and the commission (middle) person whose cab is there he will say I will charge U Rs. 13/- per KM and take extra charges. When I booked the cab the charge was Rs. 2550/- and later they chared me 3800/-. Really a big fraud Co. Dont book cabs in DEEPAM CABS...

Unprofessional Behaviour

I had trusted Deepam Taxi services for my trip to Ooty and Coorg thinking i would enjoy my holidays taking a break from the hustle bustle of daily life but to my surprise the taxi service experience i received from Mr. Narasimhe (Driver) KA 45 A 6112 was pathetic and really disappointing. This guy would only stop at the places he wanted to show you (Government Monuments). He would everytime take down the windows on his own and switch off the AC without asking us(giving excuses that his car gets heated up) and that too on the plains like Mysore Bangalore Highways forget about the Hills where the weather was such that there wasn't any requirement for switching off the AC.
Most of the times he spoke to us very rudely during our trip and did not let us explore the cities by taking us to less explored tourist spots or any Restaurants or cafe's which we told him to take us to. Which was not expected at all from a reputed Taxi service Driver . We were made to feel that we are time bound towards going to the tourist spots because the driver forced us to see these places quickly and then return to the hotel by 6pm (stating that his duty hours are 9am to 6pm) .
I had opted for Deepam Taxi Service as it seemed that it has professional services but i never expected that my holiday would turn out to be the worst travel taxi experience and the company would have a driver with such an arrogant and adamant attitude towards the customer .
I would therefore make an honest appeal to Counsel this driver and ask him what his problem is and take immediate action for his wrong doing, so that in the future no other customer has a terrible taxi experience as i had and specially for those customers who want to travel with a free mind and not caring about being time bound and the boundaries created by the taxi Driver himself for no rhyme or reason. I would also request you to refund me a partial amount for the horrible experience and harrassment i to go through during this entire trip.
Here are the details of the Package which was offered to me by Deepam Taxi Service:
Vehicle Type Sedan (Ac)
Included Km : 1500 km X 11.00 ₹16500
Additional fare/Km (beyond included Km) ₹11.00/KM
Driver Allowance: 6X 300.00= ₹ 1800
Discount Price: -₹
Total Fare : ₹18300
Extra Charges and Terms (where applicable):
1) Toll, Parking, interstate taxes and green tax are applicable as on actuals.
2) 5)Distance travelled beyond 1500 km will be charged at Rs.11/km.
3)Night allowance of Rs.300 per night between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.

Unethical and Arrogant Customer Care Support

HI, My name is Vinay Girish, i booked Deepam cabs 2 days before traveling.
We have to catch the Flight from Kempegowda Interntional Airport Terminal 2 at 9:00AM, and i booked the cab for 6:15 AM from Nagarabhavi B D A Complex, Bengalure.
I have clearly mentioned we need Sedan cabs as we have luggages. got a confirmation also for sedan, but during travelling day they sent hatchback where in we were not able to keep our luggage. Called customer care to enquiry on this, but the customer support agent is so arrogant that he says if you can not travel in hatchback go ahead and cancel and do complaint to owner or his father they don't mind, they are the king and they can do whatever thy like to do. he says they are here to trouble customer when they are in necessary or urgency.
That guy doenst have common sense to talk to customers... sense he was totally in some other word, not ready to listen to us. His answer is they dont give sedan and asking me to cancel it at the last movement... even after informing if in case i book fligt you are responsible for this and you have to bear my chages he says they don't boughter and says we can not do anything to them.
Not sure howcome Deepam owner hires this kind of arrogant guys to job.
I do understand if it is technical issue or something other unavoidable condition but this time they did it desparately. prior to this also i faced same kind of problem, even after bookin sedan they used to send hatchbacks, i did adjusted because i didnot have luggages.

Last min cancelation
Scam enterprise, i called them 4 times to check if my trip is confirmed and when will they share the driver details, they informed me 30min after the trip agreed time, saying they are canceling the trip and abruptly cut the call. Horrible rude people, i almost missed my international flight because of these cheater's, do not use their service they will never share drivers number nor will let you know early that they cannot arrange the cab, they will make you wait and cancel the cab at the last min or 30mins after the the agreed pick up time in my case. Again do not book this cab as you will be disappointed and can miss your flight if you trust them.

Deepam cabs cancelled airport cab last minute because of which I had to pay 2x amount. I called the team 30 mins before (11.30am) 26/01/2022 gor driver details, operator told that 10 mins before the scheduled time (12pm) you would get the details but later at 11.55 i was informed that cab is not available. Which made me to pay extra amount and i had to run around to book another taxi. Since 26th is holiday, most cabs where engaged. Worst service. Never ever going to book thi cab nor recommending any one.

I booked a cab from my home to railway station one week before. They are calling me at last moment saying that cab had a breakdown and the customer service agent are very irritating and irresponsible.
They even didn't bothered to arrange another cab as a replacement.
Not bothered to call customer and inform them.
Would request to take action against them.

I have experienced twice that they ditch at a time. And also once the driver came half an hour late.

We had booked the cab from deepam cabs from website deepamcabs.com.
We got the confirmation of the booking and also the can driver number and car details. On the day of our arrival in banglore suddenly we got a call from the company that the driver is not ready to come. We requested as they are a company they must be having other cars, we were reaching at 12.30 a. M midnight. They flatly said sorry we cannot help you and you will have to arrange. We had to pay 30 % more to another company on reaching banglore airport as our booking ahead of the hotels were made and fully paid. Please let me know what can be done to take up the case of pure unprofessional behaviour and mental harassment.

I had booked for outstation cab, i was told that i will get a sms at night about the driver since my departure. Later when i dis not get the message and followed up, they said i will get sms 1hr prior to departure and still i dis not receive the cab details. 30mins before when i called, they inform that cab is cancelled saying vehicle hss problem and they got to know about it at midnight. But they dint even bother to drop a message about the cancellation once they realised that the trip cannot happen.
I want to know if i can get compensated as i had to book a cab from an expensive agency.

i have to catch the train from majestic at 8:30PM, and i booked the cab for 5:15 PM from marathahalli outer ring road.
which is very well before the time, but the cab driver's phone came at 5:15PM, and he told that he informed me that he will be there till 5:30PM. i said its ok coz i have plenty of time.
but till 5:45 PM there is no call from him, when i called and ask where are you, he told he is about to reach in 5 min, but again net 15 min no information about him. when i called again, he told he stuck in traffic near bellendur, that he told earlier also at 5:45 PM.
i had waited till 6:30 PM, but that cab never came. and driver had misguided me other wise i had look for any other alternate.

Absolutely pathetic service! A week back (11th August 2013) when I booked the cab the car broke down in between just after travelling 10 km. They have very cheap quality old cars. The call centre is hopelessly inefficient & incapable. The cab drivers keep lying to you that they are somewhere near but will actually take ages to reach your place. Seems like they also lie to the call centre.
Today again I took another chance & I booked another cab for pickup from Airport. The cab was supposed to reach at 10:15 am at my place. I kept calling the driver & he kept saying some places that are nearby to my place (was apparently lying all the time) and finally reached 40 mins late. If the cab takes 30 minutes to reach Maharaja signal from Sony World signal in koramangala then it is a big lie! In between when I called the call centre at 10:20 am someone lifted the phone and said they will get back in 2 mins. I waited for 10 mins and called them again at 10:30am & they again said they will get back in 2 mins. Neither did they arrange a different cab nor did they inform me that the cab wouldn't reach in time. They will only keep customers hanging and finally ditch them. The least you would expect is an apology but that is also hard to come by from these guys.
The cab driver finally arrived at 10:45 am and by then it was no point for me to go all the way to the airport to pick my relatives. I asked them to take the bus and come home while I asked the cab driver to go back & I don't require the service any more. Later when I called their management for lodging a complaint the manager was shouting at me that I was not lifting the phone when the driver came to my place & he was only 15 mins late. Such blatant unethical behaviour! This is what he was saying after all the records he has of me calling the call centre twice at 10:20 & 10:30 and then nobody responded back. He was asking me, "Why are you complaining now? You should have told me earlier". That is the kind of response these guys give. When I cancelled the cab no body from the call centre even bothered to call me and ask a feedback but later on they are blaming me for not lifting the phone when the cab driver had come here and called me!!!
People reading this please don't ever book from these cabs if you want reliable service. Have a margin of over an hour if you want to take a chance.

Unethical and poor in quality

I booked their package to avail pick and drop facility that is of 299/- and 499/- last 17 Jan 2011 from my residence to Bangalore International Airport. I got drop facility on 19 Jan 2011 to airport 1st Feb 2011 whwn i called them to avail there service to pick us from airport these fellow asked me to pay some extra amount and they forwarded some third party peson who was entertaining to other cabs service provider on the airport i remember cab no ending with 1327 and driver name was murugesh. These buggers created panic situation so that i can not avail some other service provider service. Finally we hired Meeru cabs to drop us to our destination in bangalore. I appreciate Meeru Cabs service and thanking to Meeru team to work out for this.

main date 21 oct 2009 ko kalindikunj se wagonr cab (DL 1YB 4585) me baitha jiska ka driver nehru place tak pahuchane ki baat kiya.lekin jab wo kalka mandir par hi utrne ko bola to maine kaha ki bhaiya main 1 km. padal kaise jaunga aur office late ho raha hu to usne gali dene laga aur kaha main tum chaudhary ban raha hai main tere ko batata ho. aur car ki speed tez kar diya mere lakh request ke baad v driver ne car nahi roki fir maine chirag delhi tak request kartein kartein gaya last me main bola bhaiya car roko nahi to 100 no. pe call karu to wo gali dene lag gaya last me main ne kisi tarh se car se bahar aaya .Please iska sunwai jald karne ka kast kare.

The deepam cab service is not at all good. They are thiefs.
They have lot of hidden charges. Please dont book deepam cabs. Also, they dont come on time. You'll miss your flight for sure if you are booking using deepam cabs

yes right Deepam is not good at all, the cabs are not neat and not driven safely. Even they deny to come when you booked the cab. So your flight may miss... so Think before book Deepam Cabs.

I agree with the above comments.They are the most unprofessional cab service provider in the city. The cab driver as well as call center people behavior is like that of rowdies.Extremely unreliable service. At the last minute the driver did not call or answer the call. Also they have lot of hidden charges like searching time and waiting time. Yes these people charge for searching time also.
I had a very bad experience with Deepam Cabs. I booked for 3 day trip from Bangalore to Ooty. I booked a Ac tavera. Early morning when we had to travel, the driver named Kiran said that its a non-ac tavera. The call-center people told that he will switch on AC. We had travelled almost 100kms and then we saw its a non-ac Tavera. The driver was behaving like a rowdy and the office people were all cheats. Then they said they will send a AC Qualis n Mysore.When the atmospheric temp was very high and my small kid was complaining of heat and dust, it became intolerable.I called numerous times to the call-center. But finally the owner Mr Nagaraj didn't take the call.The Driver was intending to make kms by taking through long route.Even if we asked him to stop the vehicle, he didn't stop for making my small kid drink water, etc.Very unethical and rowdies.We forced him to take through Masinagudi-short-cut.When we reached in Ooty, no vehicle was waiting for us.We were really irritated the entire journey.2nd day night, we were to go out for dinner, the driver was missing for 2 hrs and finally he came at 9:45pm.My kid was very very hungry and crying badly. On the return journey, it was even worse.He forcibly took the vehicle through another route which took 10 hrs for a 6 hr journey.He behaved very badly with my parents, husband.My kid was continuously vomitting since we left Ooty, but the driver knowingly to make kms lied us that the route he took will just have 10kms extra.He didn't stop the vehicle in between, when we wanted to eat.And the office people told us that Madam, you can do a police complaint against the driver and go in some other vehicle.They harassed us like anything.Finally there were some 172kms extra. During payment, instead of taking 7.5/km for non-ac tavera as mentioned in their website and as told by the owner, they forced us to pay 8rs/km and the driver was shouting in our house like a rowdy to pay for extra km. Finally after a 10 hr journey, we all were exhausted and to close the issue, my husband paid extra.

They say something and charge something while dropping you and give many illogical reasons. Very unethical and unprofessional. Lot of hidden charges. They don't know how to behave also.

Absolutely pathetic service...I had a pick up in the morning for the airport, the cab never turned up, they kept me waiting promising me they would arrange another cab, and after 15 mins told me they cant arrange for a cab. I rushed to the airport middle of the night, halfway in auto, half in a different cab, but eventually missed the flight. And now there are no seats available for my destination for the next three days !!!... All thanks to the absolutely unprofessional and pathetic service from Deepam cab. I request them to shut down their cab services id they cant deliver..!!

True even I had a same problem even I have booked Deepam Cab for Airport drop and the same thing confirmed from Deepam Cabs and even I got cab detail confirmation message also, finally before 3 hours of flight I was waited for the cab but there is no call from confirmed cab driver and after that I called cab driver and he is saying there is no confirmation from Deepa cab about my pick up and Depa cabs people are so careless they are not responding and when calling to the land line number they are just avoiding ME..
I was really panic because there was no time, and I had took my own vehicle and reached Airport and the Spice jet people have told me next time come early..

i have to catch the train from majestic at 8:30PM, and i booked the cab for 5:15 PM from marathahalli outer ring road.
which is very well before the time, but the cab driver's phone came at 5:15PM, and he told that he informed me that he will be there till 5:30PM. i said its ok coz i have plenty of time.
but till 5:45 PM there is no call from him, when i called and ask where are you, he told he is about to reach in 5 min, but again net 15 min no information about him. when i called again, he told he stuck in traffic near bellendur, that he told earlier also at 5:45 PM.
i had waited till 6:30 PM, but that cab never came. and driver had misguided me other wise i had look for any other alternate.
I booked a complaint through phone also, that they should give me the ticket to Delhi, in case if i miss my train.
i booked that ticket 2 months before the travel, due to diwali season.
but they haven't call me again.
I was very disappointed with that type of service.

2) Rude Behaviour - when i called for for the airport cab they just started yelling at me saying its our mistake for not calling them earlier but in the past whenever i did like that they just say 5 minutes more, 10 minutes more and today even thou we were one hour behind he just said 10 minutes more. Even their drivers are rude. one time i told the driver to take a u-turn cuz we croosed my house and it was on the opposite side, he told to shut up and yelled at me.
3) Thief Like drivers - most of their drivers pretend not to know the road or will take us from other way to charge us extra kilometres. Its only 13 ams to reach brigade from my place and most of the time i book it for up and down but they take me round and round and they say its 17 kms to reach, i know the distance and they keep trying to make a fool out of me.
AND THE WORST PART IS I'M A GIRL SO I TRAVEL ALONE MOST OF THE TIME AND I PREFER CABS TO BE SAFER AND QUICKER BUT DEEPAM CABS ARE MORE SCARY AND UNSAFE.

AVOID THEM COMPLETELY ...Highly UNprofessional
1. They have got super arrogant drivers who cheat the customer. We had to cut short a Bangalore to Kerala trip after travelling for 3 hours (reaching Krishnagiri) because the driver was so arrogant and was yelling at other drivers, people on the road etc. Finally we took the car back to Bangalore, and took our own car and continued the journey (we lot 3K that we paid int he beginning as the driver simply refused to give it back as the cancellation was NOT due to his problem)
Their customer support is the worst part. They fully realise that the problem is their driver's. but kept telling us to "adjust and continue the journey" instead of giving us a new cab or driver.
2. They are never on time. They always have a reason to back the up for this (your area has high traffic, your phone number was not reachable/busy etc)
3. Drivers do not drive safe. Very rude to other vehicles on the road, and even put your life at risk by driving rash
NEVER NEVER take a Deepam cab if you want to travel safely with full peace of mind. Pay a little extra and get good and reputed cabs please. Rs. 200 or 300 or 500 extra for a long journey is not worth the cost for your life or peace of mind.

Do not depend on Deepam Cab. I booked a cab for Bangalore airport drop on 12/11/2018 from Salarpuria Senorita but their cab went to Salarpuria Sanctity. As the cab went to the wrong apartment it was delayed by half an hour. Further I was taken to the narrow lanes where the cab can move at 5 Kilometers Per Hour Speed. My flight took over by the time we reach Hebbal Flyover. I asked the driver to go back. He contacted their master. He was unethical and unreasonable.
I missed my flight because their driver went the wrong apartment and half an hour was late. Again moving at the speed of about 5 kilometers per hour . For their mistake I have to purchase the MISSED FLIGHT for Rs. 1600/-
My rating is -100% (MINUS HUNDRED PER CENT). So I cannot click as it is not there.

HI, My name is Mohit, i booked deepam cabs...2
While I was in the cab, driver asked me to pay in the mid way. I gave him 500 Rs note and asked for change. He said he will do it once i reach the place. instead of giving me the change he ran away as soon as I alighted the cab!!!
In the second Journey, the other driver expressed his ability to pay me back 50 rs and kept me hanging for 20 mins. He also said he will pay it next day while he is near this area. As expected, it never happened. When I complaint to the call center, they said 'ok Sir!'
and nothing happened.
I did the mistake today and booked it again to celebrate my wife's birthday. Driver charged me excess for an hour though he himself was late on the way to my place. the best part of the story is there driver only gave me a missed call and did not called me!!! Upon calling the call center people, they also said 'Sir, our driver is saying he was on time, so he was on time'. How ridiculous?? Which Deepam driver would accept he was late? There AC cabs are ridiculously in cooling. Better you keep the windows open. No GPS tagging in cab and drivers are not well behaved either.
They are highly unprofessional in their conduct and are not worth the money they charge."
