Dr. Lal Path Labs Complaints & Reviews

Hi,
I have given blood sample in the name of Aaradhya Sharma D/o Manu Sharma with reference mobile number [protected]/[protected] to Dr. Lal Path labs at collection centre - Burlington Chauraha, Lucknow on today i.e. dt. 23.06.2023 at approx 8.30 am with an assurance that the report will be provided on same day in the morning.
This report is most important to me have on the same day to having consultation with the doctor in Lucknow for my daughter. It's a weekly consultation with the doctor.
As I am not belongs from Lucknow and I am staying here in a hotel for the same. If it's failed I need to reschedule consultation and it's impacted a big amount for me to travel and staying for due to a wrong commitment that I will be get it on the same day.

I have called two times but it's failed by the centre to provide me.

Kindly take necessary action on it to avoid such fake commitment and cheating with customers.

A tumour operated out in the hospital was submitted to Dr. Lal Path Labs Delhi for biopsy test and they reported that Cancer cell was present in the tumour. So we came to Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai for treatment.
When TMH Mumbai asked for Blocks/Slides of the previous tumour, we rushed to Dr. Lal Path Labs, Dadar, Mumbai and our requisition was booked online with a patient ID number and Lab ID number on 13th September 2022. It has been 15 days now, Iam not getting our Slides and Blocks. I called to customer care of Dr. LPL and Dr. LPL Dadar Mumbai Branch, but they are not giving me any information regarding the same. They simply answered me to wait as they have raised the issue with the main branch instead of doing promt action to resolve our problem.
Now we are in dilemma whether we will get back our blocks/slides or not whereas our treatment totally depends on that blocks/slides. This is totally an irresponsible action desperately done by Dr. Lal Path Labs.
If anything happens to my patient because of negligence by Dr. Lal Path Labs I will sue against Dr. LPL.

I have submitted blood sample of my daughter at Dr. Lal Path Labs at its Sanjay Nagar Branch on 30.05.2021 in the morning for TSH test. After enquiring about price those people very rudely behaved to me. I had told them for hard copy of report at the same time which was required to me. They told me to give it at next morning. I had visited there in the morning of 31.05.2021, in evening of 31.05.2021, again in the morning of 01.06.2021, but they had not provided report tome. Every time the ask me to come again, because of various problems, like computer not working, printer not working, person is not available. And when I have asked them to talk to senior authority, they told me if you are not satisfied, then don't come again here. I am very disappointed with this behavior of Dr. Lal Path Labs. I had not expected for this behavior of Dr. Lal Path Labs.

I alongwith my family members had booked Lal Path Labs for testing purpose, the details of each of the tests are provided as under:
1. My brother in law i.e. Mr. Vishal Bakshi had booked from Lal Path Labs for tests dated 26.04.2021 such as
a) Ddimer Quantitative
b) Interleukin-6 (IL-6)
c) Complete Blood Count
d) Ferritin
That it is pertinent to mention here that the total amount which the Lab charged was Rs. 5270.

2. My sister i.e. Mrs. Sonam Kapoor had booked Lal Path Labs for blood tests dated 01.05.2021such as:
a) Ddimer Quantitative
b) Hemogram *CBC* ESR
c) CreativeProtein CRP
That it is pertinent mention here that the total amount which the Lab charged was Rs. 2020.

3. Further, I had booked Lal Path Labs for blood tests dated 06.05.2021 and they are:
a) Complete Blood Count
b) Ddimer Quantitative
c) CreativeProtein CRP
That it is pertinent mention here that the total amount which the Lab charged was Rs. 1950.
It is further necessary to point out that, after the tests were completed, the employee of the Lal Path Labs forced to pay an additional amount of Rs. 650 for each of the tests from all three aforesaid persons for the purpose of PPE Kit.
It is pertinent to note that the Lal Path Labs is solely responsible for the safety and security of its employee and the expense of a PPE Kit has to be provided by the employer i.e. Dr. Lal Path Labs, but the said lab has been charging it from the customers.
The said act of Dr. Lal Path Labs is illegal.
Further, it may not be out of the place to mention here that, the bill which has been raised by them does not even include the charges of PPE KIT which they are charging for their employee.
Kindly find attached the copy of receipts of all three tests wherein it is evident that no PPE Kit charges has been put in the bill.

Some issue with sample collection and transport has lead to my report being inconclusive. I want a free re-test from Lal path labs. The collector’s phone was continuously ringing while sample collection and he attended a call while collecting and handling samples. Some issue must have been at his end for sure. Doctor has also said that the lab should do free re-test. This is truly poor behaviour.

This is my worst experience with Lal Path Labs. I am really disturbed. The guy who came to pick the sample took the sample in multiple times-3. Then he even refused to show his ID, saying this is confidential. Then he again came to pick the sample that he took earlier sample in wrong tubes, that too in multiple times. Post which I received the results for only 6 of 7 results. When I reached the customer care for the remaining result I was...

I went for cbc, esr, and glucose random plasma test on dated 13/07/2017 morning 11:08 am at dr. Lal path labs uttam nagar branch (Complete details mention above).
Pathologist who extract blood from my veins was totally untrained, pain start from the very first step itself once he inject needle in my vein, it was a panic event for me but they just said it happened. My left hand was already fracture in an accident on 28th june and right hand almost paralysed by your so called quality team. It was more than a week passed but pain is not reduced.
It is my request to you kindly take a strong action against such labs as they never think about someone's life. I am in deep pain since day one unable to even sleep, they made my life almost hell. What kind of quality they provided to their customers?

Dr Lal pathlabs Ultrasound report AFI is 7.6cm on 6th march 2017 next day doctor said to recheck AFI report than AFI was 9.4cm without any treatment our doctor was shocked she said this is not possible without any treatment she advised us to admit. For our clearance we go to another lab for ultrasound after an hour we got reports there AFI (Amniotic Fluid) was 14.05cm. I was relaxed because doctors said below 10cm is not good and patient need to admit for surgical operation which can be harmful to baby and mother..
After I got reports I go to Lal path labs there I talk about reports they said our reports are ok we don't know any other lab. I talk to dr Anup Kumar who also talked in bad manner. There was staff man in radiology mr Jagmohan who ask me to talk politely and blaming another labs report.
I just want to clear my issue with people who are just going on Name Lal pathlabs, we don't know about these reports what they are preparing for us but we are depended on there reports...

Ordered blood test from Dr. Lal Path lab. got a result with wrong gender plus name was incorrect. Additionally, the person who came to collect the report was very unprofessional and took blood sample not following the medical reference. When I told him, he said that timing does not matter. Lab Number[protected], Collected time is not correct, name is not correct, Gender is not correct(so biological reference are not correct).Invoice Number- INV[protected], . It is a life threatening approach and can lead to extreme issues for the patients.

I have given a sample o[censored]rine for urine culture at Dr. Lal Path Labs back in 19th March 2016, after doctor's advice and treatment i have again gave sample on 04.04.2016 report was better but infection was nt completely gone .

Doctor again a give medicines and asked me to get it tested some where else as infection was very minor and she was observing a large number of wrong lab reports from LAL path labs lately, but i still had my faith left in Dr. Lal, so i again gave a sample on 13.04.2016, result of which was same as the earlier report.

However doctor was already prescribed some medicine for the patient(my wife) which was pregnant at that time.

So i logged a complaint and demand for retest, after a long argument with some microbilogist sitting at some place, he said ok fine go give the sample again on the reference of complaint no given.

I approached nearby Lab they asked me to wait, after half an hour wait they told me that my complaint was closed and i[censored] want to get urine tested i have to pay, i was shocked and refused to pay any money and left the lab immediately.


This type of attitude is unprofessional, i have completely lost my faith on Dr. Lal.

Worst Service. Highly disappointed. I gave the sample on 26-03-15 on 1.00 PM at the collection centre Sector-10 but these guys submitted the sample at 8.30 PM in the Lab at Sector-14 (According to Lab guy at sector-14). Till now I didn't got the reports. ( Its 10:10 AM[protected] This is highly unprofessional. I have an appointment today with my doctor what I do with out the reports. It takes 3-4 hrs for the tests only and till now I don't have reports. My question is.. The sample was in the Collection centre for 8 Hrs.Is the reports will be accurate..?? Is it your service..?? I want you to take necessary action against the collection center and let me know about it. He should learn a lesson.
