In 2019, my wife and I approached Homelane in Kodambakkam (Chennai) for entire interior furnishing of our dream home (an apartment of 3000 sq.ft). Little did we expect it to end as a disaster.

Initially the quality of customer service and attention-to-detail seemed too good to be true but as the project unravelled, it became obvious that Homelane as a company, compromises a bunch of deceptive incompetent individuals at the top, managing teams of fraudsters with excellent marketing skills. Their workforce is outsourced and their products are inferior in quality.

After several blunders in the initial and execution stage of the project, we opted to withdraw. This is when Homelane revealed their true colors and refused to return our advance payment in mafia style. Yes, there was an agreement contracted while paying the advance but in spite of acknowledging to having underperformed with inadequate services to justify the advance payment, they refused to compromise.

After numerous fruitless meetings and several unanswered emails, Homelane gave us peanuts in way of kitchen furniture, for the 2++ lakhs they owed us. During that time, we even received nasty responses from Srikant Iyer himself, the CEO and co-founder of Homelane.

Trusting Homelane, we handed over our hard earned savings and they turned our dream into a nightmare.

We have paid an advance of 50000 rupees to homelane for home interiors project in 27th March 2021. Though they agreed to complete the project within 45 days and promised that 30 days is what it takes but for some unforeseen causes they keep 15 days buffer.
Then not much progress till July 2021 is seen. Though measurements and masking is done. We wanted to change many things in almost all rooms but how the project was progressing was...

We booked homelane interior package in March and paid 50, 000 as sales person was calling 10 times and asking to pay token amount immediately. Now, we are selling off that property and don't want to have interior work done. When reached out to homelane team to cancel and refund or reimburse with some furniture, I am having very hard time. Every employee is telling different rules and policies and we are not able to proceed and close on this.

Please look into this at priority.

Hello team,

We have enrolled for home interior for our apartement salarpuria sattva east crest h703 on june 15th with registration number ben-pg-[protected]. They have promised us to deliver and complete the work as per deisgn in 45 days. With multiple followups and they have delivered my interior with lot of snags (Defects) on the 30th august. There are many design issues and missing items from the design and weh have paid the amount for the missing items. Now homelane is not responding the emails and not providng the solution/money back for the amount which i have paid, also managment/team is not responding our emails.
