I visited Joyalukkas Bhubaneswar with my mother and faced serious issues:
- Staff said making charges were free, but they added full charges in the bill.
- They counted our cash by hand and claimed it was short, but I verified the amount was correct.
- When I asked them to use the cash counting machine, the reading showed a different amount, but they ignored it and insisted their count was right.

Fraudulent behaviour

Hello
I safeer fazulu went to Josalukkas showroom in Hosur with 30gms of silver coins to upgrade it to silver kada.
I already knew the coins were of 30 gms but one of the employee weighed the coins and told me that it was 29 gms were as the weight in the weighing machine showed 29.9 gms.
When I saw the final bill the actual weight of the coins was 28 gms plus 20% depreciation.
When I enquired about it they changed it to 30 gms.
I selected one silver kada... They told me 1st that it is Rs 75.5 per gm. Then they told and argued that it was antique piece and the price would be Rs130 per gram.
The bill came with
30 gms coins taken for Rs 75.5 with depreciation cost of 20%. So the total price for the coins was Rs 1812 approx.
The kada weighed 38.1 and it was put for price 130 per gram. The cost was 4953.
I asked for Little discount and he told me to pay 3000 round off. After this the sales person who attended me took the kada and showed to his seniors and he came to me after 45 mins and told me to pay 3000 rs.
After this I paid the difference price of Rs 3000 for the kada.
After the payment was done they forced me into argument and didn't give me the kada and told me to pay extra money around 1600.
So I thought some foul play was going on so I decided not to purchase the kada and told them return my silver coins and refund my amount. But they told me that it will be refunded by next week and argument got heated up when I asked the acknowledgement for the same. But they refused to give. After 30 mins when I told them that I will complaint to head office the manager ignored and told me that 3000 is not big money it is just 3000 do whatever you want and he left.
Then one of the employee named Abhishek sent me the acknowledgement through mail.
When I came out of the manager cabin. In order to create a scene the employees came with me as if they were sorry about all the scenario.
I request you to take action on this and refund the amount ASAP.
We were attentive about the grams and price and came to know about the fraudulent behaviour of the employees, imagine how much they are cheating on to the people who are not aware and innocent.
They wasted 3hours of my time. Really disrespectful and shameful behaviour.

10 days back I went to Joy Alukkas, Chrompet, Chennai branch for buying one bangle with the exchange of one old gold ring.
They checked the purity of the old gold ring and they said it is 22K gold and you will get the same gold rate.
I agreed for that and they melted the old ring. After finalizing the price, they reduced 10% on my old gold. I asked the reason and they said this is their general practice.
It is really cheating. If they would have told in the beginning, I wouldn't have given my old ring for excahnge.
They checked the purity of the old gold ring and they said it is 22K gold and you will get the same gold rate.
I agreed for that and they melted the old ring. After finalizing the price, they reduced 10% on my old gold. I asked the reason and they said this is their general practice.

Online purchase send with broken chain and Joyalukkas is not responding after I did payment
I have made an online purchase of gold chain in Joyalukkas website . After I made the placement they called back and said that the chain that they hold is having some extra weight so I need to pay Rs.2000+ extra to dispatch it . After multiple calls I have paid that extra amount too. Then I have received the parcel with a broken chain and I cant use it for a day too. Even the chain lock mechanism is not working properly. I am writing multiple emails and calls but no response yet. But untill I make a purchase and do payment they promptly respond for all my emails immediately. Now I am helpless and have no idea how to contact and get this issue resolved.

Al Fahidi Dubai stores manager bad attitude
I visited this joyalukkas Branch today 20/08/2023 around 4pm with my sister and mother, We came to buy ear stud for my baby and we came with a 4 gram gold coin purchased few years ago from other gold jewellery shop,
So we came to exchange the 4gram gold coin to eat stud but the staff there said they will only give me ear studs for 3 grams and 1 or more gram will deducted because I purchased from other jewellery shop when my sister asked why there is a deduction there was two sales person who rudely replied with a worst attitude one of the worst behaviour as if we asked to pay them my bills they didn’t even have a courtesy to explain why the deduction is on my sisters and mothers face they said we can’t take other jewellery gold coin
We are your customer since 15 years from Chennai Kerala all other branches we have the proofs and records we are your valuable customers
And then my sister wanted to report the behavioural issues of the staffs to the branch manager, but the branch manager was even more having a very bad attitude issues towards my sister and my mother he is even more worst than the two sales person
I want to complaint the branch manager and two sales person who hurt my sister and mother with their worst behaviour and attitude issues POOR SERVICE GUYS NEVER EXPECTED THAT YOU LOWER YOUR BRAND STANDARDS TO THE BOTTOM LEVEL

I bought last week one ring from Joyalukkas store in safari mall Sharjah, UAE. When I visited there, i ask about stamp of joyalukkas in ring then his salesman reply is so crued and behave such like a foolish man untill my purchased not finish. I was not entertain this type of things but i have paid advance gold scheme in your joyalukkas store that's why I stayed there. me and my friends always bought from your joyalukkas store but from this incident, we will never buy from any Joyalukkas store. I went there for 2 gold rings and one diamond pendant but i bought only 1 ring and another 2 products bought from Malabar gold and diamonds after this things. I want to say regarding this whole things but i respect that guy because he was more than 50 years old. He has bad attitude and his name is Gilson Joseph( id-19G029). Tell him to change the behave otherwise joyalukkas will see the sale on coming days.

No more a delight to visit..if you are an old customer they take you for granted.especially ms Sneha and Mr Sunil who will make you wait and pay no heed. They even lie ..Mr Sunil was one such character…I had paid advance for a few items and later visited d shop..I did forget d receipt..later this Mr Sunil who is such a cheat tells me that d rate of d advance and today’s rate are the same….total lair…good I didn’t fell in their trap and tried to wait till I reach home and check….and it was evident that my advance fixed price was much lesser.
I am filing a strong complaint about d branch and staff and the way they deal I was also with small kids still they don’t attend early …there is no such thing as priority.
Even if you are carrying, with kids or with seniors citizens..earlier staff was good now they have lost d shine ..with such bad staff ..and no soft skills.

My name is hussain from kompally I visited yesterday kompally hyderabad branch with my family spend more than 2 hours and selected gold ornaments worth of 65 thousand and my cousin came with me she want to gifted me that ornaments and she asked branch manager to make bill on my name and amout she will pay by her card.but manager refused take money from her due to that time she didn't carry her id card with her manager not accepted any word directly refused to sale without id card.i told that am having my id card and I gave it to them also that manager not accepted to sale.we told that after reaching home I will send u her id card.manager not accepted and totally he not at all interested to sale inspite of my several requests.he did not accepted we wasted our time more than 2 hours its bad behaviour manager showing that joyalukkas his own property showing his attitude in kompally branch really its very bad experience just because of not carrying id card we can't able to buy gold from joyalukkas kompally branch.its very bad manager bad branch in my entire purchase experience I never face such problem just because of not to carrying id card kompally branch joyalukkas manager refused to sale gold ornaments.its very bad.he can collect id card next day.but he showing his attitude.bad showroom manager

I had visited MG road Bangalore store to purchase diamond nose pins . The staff Sushmita was incompetent and was not interested in attending to us. We requested for a change of staff but it was told she is the diamond section incharge and she is experienced. On finalising 2 nose pins worth about 20000 we wanted to confirm if both were 22 carat . The staff confirmed yes it was 22carat. When we when to the billing counter we were told it’s 18 carat and they had rounded off the amount more than the actual bill amount. When compliant about this to assistant manager Shamzeer who said will call back the next day to resolve the complaint was rude . We did not buy the product. This has caused lot of inconvenience to us. We travelled about 2:30th so from Bangalore airport to the store to purchase. We have been shopping at this store for over 10 years now and this has been the pathetic experience. I need to escape this matter to the highest level. Rounding off the bill more is just but stealing money from customers.

We spent around 3 to 4 hrs to exchange gold and silver. After final bill they come back and say take the melted gold and silver and they will not give newly purchased gold /silver.
Always pushing to purchase gold ornaments ( more wastage) and not gold bars( less wastage).As a customer we have right to chose or decide what is best for me. They cant melt all old ornaments and then say they will give it back. Absolutely no ethics and they think they can easily get away with such attitude.
They have not given bills for silver ornaments and say an approval is required and asking us to revisit their shop to collect the bills tomorrow. Without approval how can they even melt old ornaments, who gave the right to melt old ornaments?
We were deeply offended with such attitude/behavior/customer service and surely don't expect this from educated persons or company like Joyalukkas.
We expect our bills to be handed over with an apology verbally or writing for their unacceptable behavior.

On 3rd December 2022 i brought a gold thali chain in joyalukkas shimoga but I had a bad experience with the staff service and the product which I brought the quality is low because it as a defect and the staff doesn't response to the customer properly

Never go for Easy Gold scheme of Joyalukkas.
Even though they publish 18% discount on making charges, they will charge higher making charges and stone charges from scheme customers than direct customers.
So end benefit of the scheme is only for jeweler and not for customers.
Had this experience in their Kamanahali Branch....

Diamond ring

My friends have purchased a diamond ring to gift me on 02/09/2022 from Joyalukkas, Vadodara shop. But the ring doesn't fits me well. We went to shop on 07/09/22 for exchange but they do not have stock in my size which they said size 8. We requested them to make the same ring of my size on order and we were agreed with their waiting time of 40 days also. But then the sales executive advise that we have to pay some making charge of Rs.[protected] and refused to exchange. The worst experience of my life with the gold-diamond jeweller. Kindly do needful to get it exchanged as ring without size is of no use.

In Kadapa Joyalukkas branch staff behaviour is not good.
I purchased gold and shinning has gone in a month it's not looks like gold.
The same question asked to Joyalukkas executive and his response is not good and very rude.

Dear sir or madam, I have purchased a silver ring for my anniversary at coimbatore gandhipuram.Within 20 days the colour of the ring has totally changed at I was looking so ugly. After that I have contacted the branch and they have replaced it yet this one is also like that only. We will be purchasing regularly in Joyalukkas only I have didn't faced any problems bt now it's too poor. I really feel shame for recommending Joyalukkas. Please don't cheat I doest not made up of silver and it's like just silver coating. I'm uploading both the ring photos please kindly take the action or else I don't know what my next move will be.

Order cancellation request submitted, more than a month of ordering no response
I'm disappointed by customer service of such big name in jewellery industry.
I have placed order on 27th May, and on multiple occasions asked for update. I have requested for cancellation of order. Yet no response. If I do not get it resolved within Wednesday. I would be forced to file complaint in consumer forum for refund of my amount and interest loss on it.

Ordered and delivered more than 55 days

My order no is 16451507.
These guys have let me down big time. My sister and I ordered online the same day via Joy Alukkas and Tanishq. But she got the order delivered within a week and joy alukkas have held my Gold and Silver for around 50 days, which is not acceptable at any terms.
And the worst among their service is they have not bothered to update the customer at all, i have been following up for this entire process.
And that too last one week I have sent 2-3 emails asking on update and they haven’t replied too.
These guys have let me down big time. My sister and I ordered online the same day via Joy Alukkas and Tanishq. But she got the order delivered within a week and joy alukkas have held my Gold and Silver for around 50 days, which is not acceptable at any terms.
And the worst among their service is they have not bothered to update the customer at all, i have been following up for this entire process.

Non execution of online order

Placed an order in the month of May and paid the amount also . Even after a month struggling to get the same. Most importantly none responds . Mails are not getting answered . phones not getting picked up. My suggestion to the Govt is to bare them from doing online sales

Order not deliver
I placed the order via online portal in march months, The company is not able to delivery the order since 4.5 months, not giving me proper update and blocked my mone. such pathetic service provided by Joyalukkas.

Today I visited to your showroom (Kurnool). I saw the persons working over there are very negligible and moreover they are not giving response to the valuable customers.. This is the worst experience that I ever seen in other showrooms of kurnool.
