Big scam be aware and avoid

Thank you for sharing these details. I should have read this article before I fell for this scam. During our way to Baga beach one of the scammer from Karma group stopped us and Sai there is one hour seminar going to present their 28th year anniversary and if we hear that we would win guaranteed prize. Fraudsters just aimed at looting money

SO you will be completely misguided and have to take arrogance and threshold 1 hour+ seminar which is completely unavoidable as they will not make you leave the seminar.

Everything they say its a lie. You wont get bookings as a member or as as the free complimentary 7 nights stay package.

I wasted 1 day of my holiday under false pretenses. Please beware. 5he membership fees that they offer is 4.5-5.5 lakhs with a alternate year maintenance feers of 33 k which is supposed to rise with inflation...

I attended their saminar.

I attached saminer at nadiad bulaverd 9 resort. I bought the mamber ship from your employee. And as her talk he informed me for my whole family. My age is 53years old. And my 2 kids are of 20years old. Your employee explained that i can buy membership for my entire family. He convinced me and i paid 50, 000/- rupees. But still i didn't got my mamber ship activated. big scammer

A big scammer. If you travel to goa and if any guy come and talk about promotional offer of karma grup then be aware. They will lure you and they will ask you to visit their resort n attend their presentation. Never ever buy any membership with them it is over priced. Rude behaviour of staff in case u have already purchased membership n wish to surrender policy or ask of any refund. Don't get trapped....

This is the first karma 'resort' we have used since our hugely expensive entry fee into the world of karma and it may be our last. We joined in 2018 and we were supposedly shown the 'minimal' promised standard of accommodation for karma but what we were given is far below a 2* hotel anywhere in the world. To say we are disappointed is an understatement and if we could get our $10k+ usd membership cost refunded, we would immediately, but that is not happening due to karma law. I am 64 years old and have had a total knee replacement with complications. The first accommodation we were advised was a tiny 'studio' up 3 flights of stairs with no lifts. After explaining that i could not achieve this climb every day we were given a 1 bed apartment, still up a long and steep flight of stairs, painful. We were advised that this was the only accommodation available. Strange when another couple were given a beautiful 2 bed apartment with minimal interior stairs.
When we arrived and were shown our room it went down hill from there.
We had no hot water for 2 days and was only fixed after many complaints.
The bed was rock hard and the pillows matched.
There was no hot water and when it was finally provided - 2 days, they reversed the tap?? The entire unit desperately needed massive maintenance as the paint work was worn, chipped, scratched and stained. The appliances were old and needed a complete scrub. The floor is uneven and obviously tiled over the top of the old floor as the front door won't open fully and their is a dangerous drop in the bathroom and bedroom flooring
The furniture is old, smelly, uncomfortable and totally un-matching and not fit for purpose of sitting and eating a meal or watching tv. We constantly have to move around to minimise further back aches. The sliding doors to the balcony also furnished with worn table and chairs is so hard to slide and is very noisy.
The cupboards don't close properly and there is no hot water in the kitchenette.
The electrical panel looks disgusting and i would hate to have to open it. The tv is small and old like the dvd player. I am typing this sitting on an old fabric and wood chair that is far too low and is giving me pins and needles every 5 minutes.
At this stage i would like to mention that we have complained to the management in a sit down meeting prior to me writing this but obviously nothing has been done. The whole complex is in need of total refurbishment. The most comfortable rooms in the resort that we have seen are the management offices. The only upside is the staff, mainly filipino, try their best in this environment. I won't go on suffice to say that if money was not an issue we would have packed our bags and moved to better accommodation within 48 hours.

Hi Emily, you have my details and you have not responded to my emails. I'm sorry but I have made my intentions clear, I will not talk on the phone during the day - we both work for the Australian Government and private calls cannot be answered on most occasions. I am happy for you when I read the positive comments concerning Karma but I do wonder if they are real. I have read enough horror stories to make me wonder how anyone could work for such an organisation, obviously I need to understand that these people use low employment for their own gains. I am aware of the CEO and where he lives and I am ashamed that he lives in Australia. I am also ashamed that this westerner could call himself an owner of a successful company. I have read many blogs and cannot further understand the 17 different membership quotes I have seen, that's disgusting and exploitation. I can see that if you are fully retired and rich you may take advantage of the offers and stays throughout the world but I can see that these resorts are not 5 star and if they look like it Karma charges a premium conversion. I can tell you that Karma Royal Boat Lagoon was disgusting. My review was actually mild compared to the actual experience. Any other resort would have been closed down due to the actual state of the accommodation. This is a fact that cannot be disputed. My health has been affected in the detriment by this stay and no words can fix it. The swelling in my lower legs was real and witnessed. The struggle to my accommodation was also witnessed. My wife was in tears on the homeward flight and refuses to use Karma again under any circumstances. Not only is it a scam for most people but it preys on the vulnerable for commission. Please advise and I will forward 60 pictures showing the truth of our accommodation.

    not getting booking as a member

    This karma royal thing is a total fraud. We have recently became members and not able to get a booking as we were promised by the sale executive at the time of promotion. They just fool people from other clubs and convince them for membership telling all lie promises that they do not accept non members but this is a total lie.     Dear All Utilizing the TIMESHARE is not easy, there is a way to do it, which needs to be understood, it has to be managed like a business, its complicated, yes i agree that every individual enrolling under such membership is facing a problem, bcoz the sale team finishes its responsibility once the membership is sold & the payments are received. Most of such cases are with Club Mahindra as they have seasonal / house wise holidays, it is difficult for a traveler to plan. RGBC has introduced a new concept of points, which i feel is far more better then any other similar offers. Please connect to the customer care department at Goa, i have been an exceptional & have experienced all Highland, Country Club, Club Mahindra & RGBC too.       Hi... I ve read the complains what others had to say...but i dont think what they have mentioned is true...they do tell u that u ve won the free saty at their resort and to claim that we need to attend their presentation...i and my family had scarched the card and we had won the prize...i had gone to attend the presentation and i attended it for 2hrs they explained me the concept and the benefits of their benefits but i refused in buying...

      Scammers and liars

      Everybody beware, If you are on holiday in Bali or Indonesia and you receive a telemarketer call patched through to your hotel room be afraid as this is nothing but a down right scam, they promise you free holidays, Ipods, boating trips and other related . If you agree to go along with the spill and agree to meet their driver you are kidnapped for 4.5 to 5.0 hours listening to a well trained actor piss in your ear about how good their hotels...

      hi

      i also went through the same presentation. i enrolled myself by paying 15000/- but after cuming back to home i read the comments of royal i was shocked and surprised and i also thought of cancelling the membership than their executive told me that dey will not give my money back so i thot instead of wasting money i shuld take one holiday finally i decided to go bali and i went bali, i that expreince was my life time memorable...
