Complaint Against Kia, Mohali, Punjab for Delayed Delivery and Financial Harassment

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to officially lodge a complaint against Kia, Mohali, Punjab., detailing the circumstances of a transaction that has resulted in considerable inconvenience, mental distress, and unwarranted financial burdens on my part.
My grievance concerns the booking and subsequent delays in the delivery of a Kia Seltos base model, which was initiated on 29th September 2023. A payment of Rs. 25, 000 was promptly made through the Kia Automobile application. However, the confirmation of my booking was only provided on the 3rd of October, along with a booking receipt dated the 4th of October, bearing the booking ID - B[protected].
In the following steps, I engaged with the local dealership situated in Mohali and Panchkula, wherein Mr. Ankur from the Mohali dealership committed that the vehicle would be delivered on either the 1st or 2nd day of Navratras. Unfortunately, the dealership subsequently informed me that the delivery date had been extended to the 21st of October.
Meanwhile, my banking institution, Canara Bank, sanctioned a loan of Rs. 11, 50, 000 for the vehicle and issued a demand draft amounting to Rs. 11, 51, 000 based on assurances that I would take delivery of the car on the 21st of October. To my great disappointment, the delivery date was again postponed to the 27th of October. In response, I made an additional payment of Rs. 1, 65, 000 on the 26th of October into Joshi Kia's account.
Despite collecting the demand draft from the bank and depositing it into their own account, the dealership denied the car's delivery on the 27th of October, stating that it would take an additional 4 to 5 days.
In an astonishing turn of events, on the 2nd of November, the dealership informed me that the car would be delivered by the 10th of November. Yet, when I personally visited the showroom on the 6th of November, I was informed that delivery would take over a month, resulting in financial complications due to interest charges levied by the bank from the 20th of October.
These repeated delays and inconsistencies have caused considerable distress, not only to me but to my family as well. I have two daughters, and their Diwali celebration was dependent on the timely delivery of this car. Their disappointment has been palpable, and their Diwali celebration will be affected due to the repeated delays in car delivery.
It is pertinent to note that I had the opportunity to receive the car as early as the 15th of October from KLG Kia Panchkula. However, I deliberately chose to book the car from Punjab as I believed that the tax benefits ought to remain within the Punjab government due to my residency.
Since the 20th of October, I have incurred daily expenses on cab services due to the extended delay in car delivery. Despite this, the dealership had already received payments for the ex-showroom price, insurance, and road tax well in advance.
In light of the above circumstances, I am seeking intervention and resolution through the Consumer Court Portal to address the following issues:
1. Delays and financial burdens caused by Kia, Mohali, Punjab
2. Mental distress and inconvenience caused due to the delay in car delivery.
3. Compensation for the financial harassment, including bank loan charges/interest and cab charges incurred due to the dealership's actions.
I kindly request the Consumer Court Portal to investigate this matter thoroughly and facilitate the prompt resolution of these issues, ensuring that the dealership upholds their commitment and delivers the car without further delay. Additionally, I seek assistance in addressing the financial burden I have incurred as a result of these delays.

There are many cases of cryptocurrency theft currently on circulation which I also fell victim to last week but I was fortunate to look up to drewwake (dot) j t b tech at 9 Ma 1L (dot) c0M They completely restored my losses. They are the real deal and reliable.

The service provided by Nivan babaji is worst. I would suggest to go with some other dealer or car company that coming to them. They will make sure to make your life miserable from the day you book the car to every time you take it for service.
First, they will force you to purchase extended warranty, accessories and insurance from them only. If you say no then they will deny the delivery of car saying its company policy and we can't...

I have booked kia sonet on[protected] and canceled and there is no refund . i have called executive Mr kishore of shima kia vijayavada regarding this issue he is not responding and his number [protected] and I'm attaching booking screenshot for reference.

We gave our car for repair to Kia Service Centre(Bhavna Motors) Turbhe. Our repair was done successfully however car was delivered back to us in pathetic condition. Firstly, car was not washed, it was in fact not even dusted and returned back to us dirty. Secondly, Our petrol was stolen(roughly 9 Litre). We paid charges for pickup & drop of car but still the guy who delivered us the car wanted us to drop him back at a certain place. This was quite a terrible experience that we had. Upon complaining about these issues we were told that it's not possible that petrol can be stolen and there can be fluctuation of petrol meter in the car. Practically even I can understand a difference of 5 to 10 Km's, however the difference was for 90 Km's which is not acceptable to us.

Not providing the vehicle number plate or number in the prescribed lawful time of 7 days

The purchase date of the car and road taxes applicable have been paid in full for the past 2 months. The number plate has to be provided within a period fo 7 days as per the law. I still haven't received the vehicle number plate or vehicle number for the car after two months. Even after a basic exemption of lockdown the RTO has been open for the past 15 days or more and still no plate has been provided. I am unable to drive my 17 lac car on the roads after paying all the taxes because of their inefficiency.
I request that the number plate be provided to me on urgent basis and this particular employee who avoids any communication from the customer be disciplined.

Sonet Pre Booking (HTX Diesel MT)
I am pre booking Sonet on 9th of August through Celica Kia Howrah. When booking Mr.Anurag Khan, tell me before the Durga Puja festival he delivers the car. But when I query near puja Mr. Anurag said to me it is not possible to deliver before the puja festival, because of in transit my car and not allowed to enter West Bengal due to festival session. As usual I said OK. After that Mr. Anurag promised to deliver me the car this month.
But Now he also said it is not possible to deliver as per he promised to me. As per the company not looking at customer booking, they are sended cars as per their own.

Delivery is big issue with kia, i booked red seltos htx petrol mt 1.5 on 14th of september now it has been over 2 months and the se at the time of booking specifically told me that i will get the car in 2 months he keeps stalling and giving vague statements like the company gives them heads up on what car they will bill them each day or the company has no htx in production line currently. Pathetic
