I bought an american flavour lays from Delhi confectionery store. The packet was in a neat condition and not opened. While i consumed half of the lays i found an insect dead sticked to the chips. Which i got it confirmed from 3-4 people. I have been having lays since my childhood but this is the 1 time i hv seen this thing. What is happening to the quality and checks. I dont knw will there be any health issue but if i would have eaten that chip i would really have been affected.
Need to take some serious action so that no other person should face the same issue

I have been eating lays chips since forever but i have a complaint regarding poke (Pig meat) being used in making lays chips... I can't eat poke it's haraam and if poke is being used please mention it on the packets so that we can save us from wrong consumption...
I love eating lays but after hearing this i'm shocked and very disappointed.... I will never touch them again...
If this is false please let me know!!
If you will not make any changes regarding this i have to file a complaint in the consumer form

I want to ask why lays is turning itself from a renowned brand to a ho-hum name in the chips industry.in those few amount of chips that you provide inside the packet, many of them are rotten pieces, some have blackish brown mark on it, some are decayed completely. And, together they give a weird taste to my tongue. I always have to throw many pieces of chips, looking at how poor quality they are. Do you guys choose the potatoes that market has thrown in the garbage?
It was not always like this. You were strict to your quality, and this was the only reason i would past other competitors just to buy lays. Now, that you have gained reputation, you are decreasing your quality. Do you select potatoes, depending on the regions? Well, lays do not excite me now as much as it did when you were strict to your quality. Giving up on your brand, and better you improve quality before consumer realise they are wasting their money on rotten chips.

I would like to inform you that i am anubhav from vasundhra ghaziabd. I have a stationery shop in sec 15 vasundhra ghaziabd. I am a retailer of yours product (I. E lay's, kurkure, etc.) in vasundhra ghaziabad. Name of my stationery shop s mart. My complaint is for distributor, from last 2 year. I am asking sales man as well as distributor to please provide us lay's, kurkure stand for display. His answer for our question always same "stand is not coming from comp any". The order which i give after couple of days...

Today i purchase a lays tangy tomato from a dhaba on highway nh 9. When i want to open this packet it was heavy than it's weight, then i press the packet to check.. But there is some liquid in the saeled packet.. As the chips was dipped in water. The air in packet is sufficient. I do not open the packet. I want to test this packet in lab for the quality.. I

We have a super market in miyapur, hyderabad, telangana. The service provided by salesman/so is very poor.

Issues:
The salesman places products in which we are not interested in/which doesn't have demand in our area. He assured of replacement with other products if not sold. After 3-4 months now when i asked to replace as they are not sold, he is saying that it involves a long process and it has no expected date as such and i should wait for ever.

After repeated reminders and arguments for a few months, he agreed to replace 3 weeks back but in real it didn't happened till date. Reasons were 1. Order got canceled. 2. Sent double to the amount of order placed. Etc he is still prolonging the issue.

To escalate the same issue i called area so and he was worst. Without listening/letting me complete my concerns he was ignoring my call as this is a very small issue. When i asked him to share his superior contact number to escalate the issue with him., he said he doesn't have superior and didn't share the contact number.

Another issue is when i returned lays rack back to the salesman, i asked him to return agreement document. Both salesman and so said, as per our company policy we will not return agreement document. I don't think this is true.

During this process their way of communication and behavior is unacceptable. I request to take necessary action at the earliest and please update us. Email: [protected]@gmail.com

When i open the packet it found only 3 to 4 pieces of chips in lays west indies flavour and there were original spices like rock shape of 3 to 4 pieces. So want my money back with huge penalty that create a dissatisfaction and mental harass. Here i'm attaching the video and photo so you will make control over your staffing, technical and and machine problems.

I bought a packet of lays - india's magic masala and while i was having it i found a piece of chips which was totally black, may be it was burnt or something!! And there were many pieces which were black from the sides! I was really disappointed with the quality of chips i received!! Quantity was already bad and now quality as well!! Hope you'll revert soon!

As i bought lays chips & mrp was rs5 and on that free 25% more chips as u r trying to fool ur customers by doing fake advertisement of increasing % of chips in it... As i opened it & found only single chip in it... The lays packet was not containing chips although it was only containing air... For what u r charging rs5 for that air contained packet, which must b contained with chips.. Coming directly to the point that it contains only air with complementary single wafer/chip in it.. The biggest packet with low amount of chips ever in chip packet... Lays company is bluffing us by giving 4rs air and 1rs chip.. Lays company should add more chips inside the packet.. Was not satisfied with it... Pull down lays company..

Hello sir/mam this is faizan from srinagar jammu and kashmir i am a retail seller and i am dealing with your products from past 5 years and in return i got nothing. I am totally disappointed with misbehaviour of your employees towards retailers they don't know how to deal with the market and how to deal with customers. We are doing business with lays from past 5 years and we have not recieved a single rack from them as you have send many racks but they mostly distribute those racks to their friends and sell them fir money. This is really not tolerable please take quick action aganist them. Otherwise it will effect your market.

He is the distributor of kapurthala punjab india is not caring about the supply because he has four five another distributorship like lays, kurkure, pepsi, lehar namkeen etc that’s why he is not bothered about supply of lays i have given ordered to his sales man he didn’t delivered and i complained to distributor he is also not bothered about my order it’s the third chance i have launched the complaint before now i am again requesting to you plz do something and take necessary action so that lays product goodwill go up

Greeting from gujarat.

Since last many years, my kids are fond of your product - cream & onion potato chips. At any given time, you will find 4-5 packets of this product at our home.

It is observed that since last six months, the taste, quality & appearance of the said product is drastically going down. (Please see the attached pictures). This is not once, but repeatedly happening.

Your so called competitors (Balaji, gopal etc) are providing much better product then yours in lesser price.

Please do not consider this as a complaint but i am creating as alert. To be in top position of market, you need to take special care of your production units.

Today i bought a packet of lays chips of mrp rs10. Its actual weight by compnay is 24gms but tha packet weight is only 4gms.
I wil atteach the video whis complaint. Plese watch this video nd give responce quickly otherwise this will be shared on every socal network or food supply complaint center.

Today I bought a buddy pack of lays and I found that It had many rotten potatoes and I have experienced this before also but this packet really had many, So I thought to complain about it.
We buy stuff regularly and the American cream nd onion flavour is our favourite, but if this continues to go, we will have to stop buying it. We believe it is a good brand and these should be properly checked before packed and not every chip should be inside the packet.

I had bought today a packet of lays, american onion, when i tasted it, it found really weird from the last one's, smelled differently also. I offered to my friends too, they also felt the same. And now i am feeling too much pain in stomach after an hour of consumption and it ia still their. I dont know what it is but i want to tell you that if some serious happens then i will have to sue you guys.

At Motel golden saras - between pipli and shahabaad, there is a confectionery shop for Snacks. I bought Lays Chips and MRP is Rs 25 on it and he sold them at 30, , after asking why 5 ruppee extra, the he told hotel charges are always extra.

That person always charges more than MRP every time.Please take strict action against these kind of activity...

I bought your Lays chips on March 9, 2015, from Lucknow and I participated your 'Daily Prize Contest and sent the cricket word from my mobile number. I believe that I have won the prize. I want to know what process do you follow at the time of announcing and disturbing prize. Why costumers don't receive ans sms regarding the announcement of prize if it is daily prize. Regretfully, this is to inform you that I bought a packet of (Lay's- India’s Magic Masala ) potato chips on 5th January, 2013 .The details are as following Gram- 31g , Batch No-N 310A, MFD date : 4 Dec – 12 . I was surprised when my son opened the packet to eat and found a thread ( approx 8” ) with coating of masala stuck with pieces of chips.
I had also informed to customer care, Asst Manager & CEO PA, but till date there is no response. The company is selling Defective and unsafe products in the market.
The company is not at all bothered for these type of complains as it has become an MNC.
It is not about Rs.15 packet, it is about the brand Frito Lays(MNC), and how can such a big company like Lays can sell unsafe products in the market before proper quality check ?.

The company A.m offered me Rs 15/-in return to buy the packet to close the matter but I refused. How can a person offer me Rs.15/- to buy the packet?
Is it the right solution of problem, which many others like me are facing ? If mishappening would have taken place
Who would have been responsible for that? It’s a very shameful act on part of company’s negligence.
I request the department concerned to look into the matter and take necessary action.

My name is soham srimani, residing in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. I have purchased a packet of "lays classic salt" today of 15.69 gram of weight, batch number 285B from a local shop and found an insect inside of the packet after nearly consuming the whole packet. What kind of non sense stuff is this? I am going to sue you people. Are you people playing with the health of Indians? What kind of and disgusting service is this? I am attaching two pictures of this incident.

At Gannaur Bus Stand, there is a stall for Snacks by the name of Radhika ... I bought Lays Chips from there on Dec 04 2011 and MRP is Rs 20 on it and he sold them at 25, after asking why 5 ruppee extra, the he told bus stand charges are always extra. I bought the same this at Ambala bus stand also same day but there it cost as per MRP and in local market.

That person always charges more than MRP every time. I have examined this thing number of times on every item. Please take strict action against these kind of activity.

The distributor refused to supply Lays and other food items of your company to our tuck shop at Aziz filling station NH-1A Pattan (Baramulla),stating we'll not suplly to next door shop as we are supplying to another shop adjacent to our tuck shop.
Looking for action against the distributor.

i want to complaint about one of the shop keeper at VIKROLI station who is selling expiry lays chips to customers after having that chips i vomiting & faint too....

I want him to be punishable....I dont know how many people have been purchased & eated those chips the way i have purchased it. world cup advertisement was printed on it it means those chips were 5 months old and on the packet it mention best before 4 months and still he is selling the same by removing expiry date.
