I have ordered a book from Madras shoppe.it's been a month and I haven't received it yet and there is no update regarding the order.
Please don't prefer this website.

This company is doing fraudulent business. They don't answer your call once you submit your return request. I bought Amar Chitra Kotha Ultimate collection from them for Rs. 15000 but they supplied me with stacked copies. Received old books and even worn out books. ORDER No 59088. Please DO NOT buy anything from this store. These people are cheaters.

I paid rs2303 no dispatch no refund.

No proper communication from their side and I am on this same complaint for 2 months now and I still don't get any response. I paid more than 1000/- and I couldn't read my books and refund not recieved.

Order NR-055834 was placed on 09/22/2021 for two books and only one book received after several reminders. Second book not received and Madrasshoppe stepped responding to emails

I ordered my book on 17th November but still have not received my book and there is no one responding to my messages and emails from the support.

I ordered a book "A man called Ove" on November 3, 2021. I received the book on Nov 12, 2021. It has printing issues. I mailed the customer support of Madrasshoppe on the same day I received and also personally messaged regarding the issue to the number mentioned in the website. I got the reply "Sure." It is been a week since the reply. Still no response from them when I texted again. I need a replacement or refund.

I paid Rs 374/- for a book on 10th September 2021 but till now I didn't get the book. I want my money back.

I had placed an order on 30/10/21 with tracking ID NR-058299 and tracking details with a whatsapp number which does not respond. I have already made the payment but have not received any details about order since then.
It's been more than 7 days since I placed the order and want to know when the order willl be delivered or if it is being delivered at all.

Its been more than a month since I placed a prepaid order for 1400 rupees and I have emailed them like 10 times informing about the error on my contact details. Since they don't response effectively my order was returned. I have sent 4 more emails after that asking to either update my details and resend the item or give me a status of refund but again no response.
My order number is NR-056382.

Resolve this issue or I have to think of another method to deal with this situation.

I placed order with ID NR-057525. It was placed on 17/10/21. Since then there is no response from seller. I mailed so many times. No contact number in the website. Kindly do my refund

Ordered the set of Harry Potter books.
They cancelled the order stating no stock.

I asked for refund, they said payment failed. 1 month over not recieved amount..
Now they mailed saying they shipped the books.
I already brought those books from others. Now asked them to cancel and repay.but ko response. Not even have their contact no. To call.

Very poor and pathetic service. Looks like fraud agency.

I ordered a book on 14 October there is no information regarding that book and no one is responding to mails also n there is no contact no as well

Purchased book "Eat That Frog!" and paid 129, still book not received. Tracking system is also not available on site

For the purchase of book Atomic Habits, I made a payment of Rs169 through phonepe and later found that order is not placed even after payment. The support email is not responding and neither is the contact. I want my money to be refunded back

This is the most disgusting and filthiest online book store i have ever seen in my life. Its been more than a month I have ordered a book 'Arabs : A History' by Eugene Roy and yet to receive it. They took a month to reply to my query on the status of the order and said the order is still under processing and it will be delivered soon. Looks like they take one more for dispatch and other for delivery. They don't even have their customer contact care number and dont even reply to mails. It's a huge scam and they are cheating their customers. Either refund or deliver!!

I ordered a book 'Empire of the Moghul The Complete Collection' from Madrasshoppe (Order Reference NR-055493) on 18th of September. It was a prepaid order and I paid ₹ 1813 via paytm payment gateway. It was supposed to be delivered within 3-5 days, but it's been more than a week now, I still haven't received any communication regarding the order status. I sent several queries on their web portal but never heard back. There is no helpline number or proper address in the web portal.Request to either deliver the book box set or kindly initiate refund immediately.

I had ordered for a book named "Crossing the Chasm" by Geoffrey Moore for Rs.399 on 02 Sept 2021 (Reference: BKDBI_[protected], but I haven't gotten the product from them yet. The money was paid through PayTm. They in fact tricked me into choosing PayTm, because the other options of Cash on Delivery (COD) was more costly. However after the payment, they did nothing to get the book delivered to me. The first time I contacted them (through their portal, but not a one-one conversation with any customer care executive. In fact that is the only option they provide), I was told that they don't have a seller yet, and they are "Awaiting Seller Approval". They even changed the status to this. This is when I sensed something fishy and on checking online about them, I found that everyone has had an issue with them. They seem to be a scam. After that, I wrote again to them requesting an update, but no response. Then after 2 days, I requested them for a refund, and again there is no response. I am completely convinced that they don't intend on delivering my product or my money back. But I cannot let go of this. I really need my money back. I am still in college, therefore this money is big for me. So I cannot let go of this.

I placed an order for a box set in July. It still has not shipped. Customer care has stopped responding as well

Was tempted by their low pricing and accidentally ordered 3 books, and now regretting my decision. No tracking mechanism, no status updates for past 2 weeks after the order. No response to mails, and they don't even have a contact number listed. Should have opted for COD.

I had placed an order of worth 987/- few days back though i got a conformation email yet there's no tracking link or estimated delivery date. Also they aren't replying to my emails. Please help me sir. Either deliver the books or give me refund.
