I am a resident of Khatau Building. Dr.S.S. Rao Road, Parel Mumbai - 400012 . I am facing leakage problem from my above flat, Last year only we had done repairing through Mhada , but still leakage problem did not get resolved ,we concern with Mhada engineer also he checked but did not take any action against our problem . I am seriously worried about the structure getting weak.The leakage has increased a lot since last few days. daily we are facing this problem. Please help me on this matter.

I have applied for MHADA lottery vide application no [protected] through Axis Bank CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai and made a DD number 018378 for the amount of Rs.25050/00 same handed over their only. After deceleration of result, my name is not in winner list. A list which was published for refund of money, in that sl no -787 i have seen wrong account name so that my amount is pending.

In MHADA lottery on line application i have to include my father name e.g Yamun Sahani
so that in application my name is given Sunil Kumar Yamun Sahani. In salary account my name is Sunil Kumar, For this reason my amount is held up with MHADA .I have called MHADA help line but no response

The Society Name was " Juhu Angan Co op Society" New DN Nagar near Juhu Bus Depot. Andheri West,

The society was a MHADA LIG Devlopment about 25yrs old. Eight societies in the vicinity which were part of the MHADA LIG scheme were demolished in year 2005

The 8 societies- 480 members formed " New DN Nagar CHS Ltd" which entered in to redevlopment contract with M/s Vaidehi Akash Housing Pvt. Ltd Andheri, since then this has been in court cases etc with MHADA, CRZ etc due to use of explosive to demolish old structure etc


my mother in law gets a cheque of 3 months advance rental from the builder office M/S Vaidehi for past 7 years, well that is on time so no issues

M/s Vaidehi Akash Housing Pvt. Ltd then is known to have transfered this rights to Rustomjee Builders in 2010 but no updates are available when they will commence construction, what is the status is, when it will be completed etc. The buildings are in a completely flat to the ground stage as of now ( is to be 14 stories 2 buildings with 3 floor parking)

If you could help me know

1. who when and how is going to complete the project if ever, been 7 years now nothing is progressing and as my mom in law is in thane getting updates now is difficult task? will it ever be completed?

2. can you get contact number name of the person to talk to on this one, my mom in law is thinking of selling it off without waiting for redevlopment at current market rate if possible? she tried getting contact details but nothing working? Rustomjee never metions this project in any property expo, they have another one Rustomjee Elitia nearby but that is different one.

3, what is the rental charges for say a 450 sq ft flat in new dn nagar? what is the current market rate per sq ft in the vicinity as on date?

4. is there any solution to get out of this mess, given that she is staying in rental flat in thane for 7 years now

I am a resident of MHADA society at Sion pratiksha nagar, Bipin smruti co-op soc bld # 01 , I wanted to inform u that person who stays in same society at room # 503 Name of the person is bhim sawant has put up a illegal shop in MHADA premises & in addition to that he has taken an illegal connection from the bldg passage with which he use his all appliances in the shop like computer, fan, tubelights & a video camera which is uses as to keep eye on room next to the shop, I want u to take some serious action as soon as possible.

The mhada is delaying the refund through ECS procedure. There is no helpdesk no where we can contact as well as no authority is giving any reply or suggestions regarding the section who is undertaking this work.
Kindly do the needful at the earliest..

As per the terms deposit money should have been returned to me in case i was not successful applicant within 7 Days but i have not received my 50,000/- so far.

I, Mr. Hasan Radiowala residing at 205/207, Alibhai Premji's Tyre Terrace, Bhadkamkar Marg, 04th Floor, Next to Apsara Multiplexer, Grant Rd. (E), Mumbai – 400 007, would like to complaint against the MHADA Contractor Mr. Arif Bhelen / Mr. Anif Bhelen Also Architect Mr. Farhan Lokhandwala and appeal for justice for the below mentioned concerns:

Extraction of Money : As per the Mhada Contractor and the Architect mentioned above the water proofing and chips (Tiles) are not covered and they say that he Money is paid only Rs 35 per sq. ft. which is not enough to built the same. The Contractor has been repetatively asking for a difference of amt. of Rs 40 per sq. ft over and above to complete the Chips Fitting.

However before the start of the work they promised to fullfill our needs as requested.

Irregularities in work
Ideally the complete Waterproofing of the bathrooms too should be covered but they in the repairs, but I see they have just broken down the above said bathrooms of our premises and is asking for more money to built the same.

The Contractor has already taken 20 thousand Rupees in the name of plastering the inner walls which were completely damaged.

The beams which were in extremely bad condition were not invigilated by any engineers of Mahda neither by teh Architect. Since they seemed extremely in bad condition we had to shell out extra money to get the iron rods replaced. (which again should be covered by MHADA)

Apart from which there were platforms for the Tanks placed on the terrace which were worn out too. The Contractor denied to do the water proofing of the terrace untill the the tank platforms are moved for which he asked for additional money.

Certainly humans cannot stay without Water hence we had to pay him a sum of Rs. 1,10,000 (One Lakh Ten Thousand) to recreate the platforms. The platforms are made up of four brick pillars 1 12 ft each. These pillars are mounted with three iron beams on which the kadappa rests. The contractor charged us Rs 17,000 per platform. There are 5 platforms which are made. He has been continuously charging us on small issues like white cement requirement for external plaster of the building etc...
The amount money given to him is documented with his signature.
We have been tortured to all extents and plead for justice. There is an 81 yr old grand mom and my parents which are 65 plus (senior citizens) which are being troubled and there is no action taken by Mhada. There are initial complaints done to change the Contractor but there are not reverts.
Please work with us and help us in getting our money back....

It is also seen that during the construction the contractor needs break down all the structures which are damaged and repair the same accordingly. However during the break down most of the remains (rabit) just stay on the main staircase unattended during the day. Now since it’s a residential building there are families which reside and commute every day.

The most residents in the building are senior citizens above the age of 65yrs. I reside with my father and mother who too our senior citizens. Due to the construction work all the remains were piled on the main staircase due to which my father lost his balance and slipped hurting himself.

I’m extremely disappointed by method of contractor working since it’s a threat to life of my parents and the other people of the building. Hence it’s an appeal to get me a compensation for the losses.

2. Metal Trauma
After the incident with my father is suffering from mental trauma, where he is not able to climb or descend the staircase due t the threat to his life.
We need serious attention so that the construction work can successfully complete.

3. Disgraceful events and humiliation.
Morning 27th Dec 2010 before leaving for work I informed and alerted all the labors who were working to pick up the remains (rabit) from the staircase so that it does not cause any harm to the residents of the building. However no action was taken.
The same day while my father was descending the stairs which was now filled and piled with at least 3fts of remains (rabit) slipped. However instead of helping the old aged man to get up and escorted to his house the labors had a very good laugh on the incident which was very unethical and insulting.

4. Irregularities in work
Once the work is commenced there is no one to supervise the progress. The contractor comes down to the site commands the allocated work and comes back the other day.
Since he has more than three sites to visit he is not able to dedicate his complete attention to our site which might even cause our lives.
There are unnecessary delays too, at times on asking the reasons for the same the contractor states “The amount for cement and other things required for construction was not allocated or approved. The approval would be given only after the Sr. Engg. Visits the site. Further delay is due to them.” Hence there is a blame game played and he walks-out.

5. Unethical Language Used.
Every-time if there are any issues to be followed up or concerns to rectify the contractor clearly warns us that he would leave the construction as is, in the middle and we have to stay in as is condition.

Hence I plead a compensation for the same OR change in the contractor.

We have been alloted a premises at Dharavi Azad Nagar Janta Co-op. Hsg. Soc. Ltd. C.T.S. No. 83/84 Gani Garage compond Dharavi Main Road Mumbai - 400017. it was a slum area undertaken by MHADA in the year 1996 and the possession thereof was given to us on 3rd December 2010. Inspite of the fact that that possession is given the construction work of the building is still incomplete there is no lift,water supply and electricity and still given to us inspite of the request to the MHADA and the Builder no progress has been made till date.

Sir kindly look in to the matter as we are facing great problem due to the neglience on the part of MHADA and Builder.

I wish to bring to you kind notice that we residents of Nehru Nagar, Kurla East, have been receiving contaminated water supply fro last 1 month. The water coming in our water tanks is full of insects and insect waste and muddy.

I have personally fitted a cotton filter to the taps and in less than 3 hrs of running water every day the white cotton filters turn black and muddy with dirt. We are unable to use the water for drinking or cooking purpose. Many people in the area have fallen sick with diarrhea and jaundice and nos. are increasing day by day.

Small children and elderly people are the worst affected. I got information that the water supply to our water tanks is done by MHADA water tank but then I want to ask why MHADA is not taking responsibility to supply portable drinking water to us, and if they cannot supply then why we cannot get good quality BMC water in heart of Mumbai city.

If the resident of Kurla Nehru nagar are continously exposed to this dirty water, I am sure the dangerous germs floating in the water might start affecting the people in the brain and nervous system some day and this will be disastrous. Suppose an sole earning member of middle class family in locality falls ill to these deadly disease and get crippled for life who will feed the family then.

In interest of the society and its people, I earnestly request BMC to look into the situation which is ticking like a biological bomb can can explode any time now with patients turning up to hospitals in large nos. complaining of severe abdominal pain and distress.

If BMC officials wants to verify the seriousness of the above complain can come to residence and I will show them the filter samples I have preserved as a proof of comtaminated water being supplied to residents of Kurla east.

I am Ms. Reshma Sawant had applied for the MHADA lottery scheme (2010) for housing in Turbhe, Mndale, Mankhurd

I won the lotterry but was rejected since my salary was not fiting for the mentioned code. So to get my refund i have made application for refund to the respective autority at Gruhnirman Bhavan. They told me you will receive refund within 15 days. Now its one month gone but still i have not recieved my money, refund of Rs. 10000/-.

My Application No. 29528, Code No. 290 & DD No.137242 dated 16 Jan 2010

MHADA had promised that the money would be refunded within 15 days from the date of rejection. I have not received any money inspite of providing correct bank details, and writing application for the same after rejection.

Please assist in getting my money and money of people like me at earliest.

i hereby want to ask you is there any security is there for normal people in this society? because before also i lodged complaint about the same matter which i am going to tell you now but there is no any action from your side so i want to know are you really serious about our complaints?sir i am living in ekta nagar kandivali MHADA bld no 50 in our society one lady is staying in 7th floor (room no-702) who was a maid in the mentioned flat but when the owner died in a suspisious death (which shown as heart attac by misguidung the local doc) that lady suddenly started announcing herself as the widow of the dead member,and with the help of 3/4 society member and local police and pollitical leaders she became able to certify that ,but our problem is she is an unsocial lady now she started doing buisness of fresh flesh with the help of present secretary,tressurrer ,next door neighbour and also local police and political leader name GITA JADAV ,i just want to know if these people are running successfully theresex racket with the help of our leaders and police force then are we secured in this society we are middle class people we cnt sleep with any one or we cant feed bribe to any political people then dont we have any right to prevent our self when i objected for her activities then she directly went to a c p of malavani and police without any avedence lodged a case against and when i tried to proove myself then also mr a c p suppported them only ,and the hilight is police also knows about this lady but also dont know why they are bound to this lady ,if leaders and polices are sold then who will help us and what should we teach to our children that donot say any thing if you see also anything happening wrong front of you, and now MHADA is also tranfferred the flat by her name ,please do something and save our society from these antisocial elements.thanx

But there all Agents and peoples say that MHADA tranferd has stopped in that layout. Can any help me how should i go to get loan. Bank want MHADA transfer as well as NOC. I can get NOC. But As MHADA has stopped Tranfered so how can i get it.

as per reqest for room transfer the clerical officer in mhada Miss Raut has given me the feedback that the file for rispected room has been lost and harrasing for last five months.I provide each and every documents but she is not intersted in doing the work

Dear , I am a Tenant of Mhada Building, located at Parel, Gulistan Building, Adam Misty Lane, Recently the repair work has been conducted in our building, unfortunately instead of improving the conditions of the builiding it has become worse, after completion of repair all the muds from the gutter has not been clean, the dirty water is overflowing from the gutter, toilet pipes up to 5th floor has not properly fixed dirty water is falling from the top. After compalining to the supervisor incharge no action has been taken.
The contractor name is siddique and the supervisor is taus.
Please guide what should we do and how we can get the problem solve from the contract.

I am a tenant in the reconstructed building at 1st sleater road, 2nd cross lane, Grant Road, Mumbai-400 007. This building is ready as informed by Mhada and I who was staying in transit camp at Oshiwara, surrendered back to Mhada and took the "Tabaa Pavti" to take custody of my flat. I submitted my Tabaa Pavti to Mhada Resident Engineer's office which was then situated at Shinde Wadi, Dadar (East), Now it is shifted to Tardeo, Opp AC Market. I have been rigoursly following to get the possesion for last two year. I am tired of running from post to pillar. Could you please help me.

It almost 14yrs I had won a plot at Charkop sectot 8 from Mhada. (Category BG-GP).

I had paid my deposit after winning the plot but after that there is no written communication given by Mhada, Since then I have visited Mhada office almost every 6 months, i visited almost all the related officers but am not able to get a confirm answer regarding the non allotment of my plot. They have the same reason of CRZ, with was vaived off in the year 2001.

I am not able to understand why am I been aske to wait and wait.

Please suggest me what should I do to get the details of my allotment as I suspect there could be some faul play in my case. There a socities already built in that area, no crz problem.

Please help me asap.

but still i had not received any refund or intimation of refund or any call from the mahada authority
its almost more than 07 months
so can u guide me with the refund procedure or to whom to contact regarding the same or any customer care no of the mahada authority.
hoping for the speedy reply as there is a requirement of the deposited amount

I am a resident of Jitekarwadi, Thakurdwar Road, Mumbai-2. In my society there is a municipality school whose leave for 100 years are over, The condition of the building is in a very bad and unsafe state and can fall any moment. I here by request you to kindly take apprpriate action as, if building falls it will cause serious injuries to people residing there.

I, Mr. Maruti Gaikwad had applied for Mhada Housing Scheme of 2009, application No.673943.
I have not been selected in the lottery list, but I have not yet recieved my EMD amount (or security deposit or refund amount) yet.

My EMD amount(refund amount) is 25, 000/-

The Mhada website says(http://mhada.maharashtra.gov.in) amount will be refunded in week, but it has been more than month...

I, Mr. Manish Sadanand Pandit had applied for Mhada Housing Scheme of 2009, Application No.492422, code 212. I have not been selected in the lottery list.Even after repeated calling at the Mhada office till date (30.6.2009) i have not received the refund amount of Rs.50, 000/- Mhada is unabale to give information properly even after repetaed calling at the Mhada office.
Look in to matter urgently as we are unable to hold any longer.

Unfortunately my name didn't came in Mhada lottery list, i haven't got my money back yet, so please take action for the same.my App NO is 404833.

I had applied for MHADA Scheme 2009 vide application No. 684025.I have not yet received the refund of the said amount .
I had called up HDFC bank and talk to Ms. Amita, Who as I have been informed by HDFC Bank employee handles the MHADA Refund, and informed her about the same but she has also shown her helpless hand saying the same has been send via Blue Dart Courier and told me to contact Blue Dart courier on 2824 1234 but blue dart also promising me that the same will be delivered with in 2-3 days.
This reply I have been receiving from past 6 days from Blue Dart courier as well as HDFC Bank.
Now why an action should not be take agaist blue dart and HDFC Bank for delaying the same.

Kindly look into matter as I have doubt the big scame may be taking place.

I am a resident of Old MHB Colony, Gorai Road, Borivli (W), Mumbai 400 091situated on plot bearing CTS No.240 wich has 27 co-operative housing society building. I have been repeatedly asking them for the following information but have received no reply. My questions were as follows:

a) How many buildings have got conveyance deed out of 27 society buildings in the colony?
b) How many of buildings have submitted their proposal for conveyance deed?
c) What is the progress on the submitted proposal for conveyance deed?
d) How many open plots are marked in original layout of Old MHB Colony, Gorai Road, Borivli (W), Mumbai 400 091, situated on CTS Plot No.240?
e) How many open plots have been sold and how many are still available as on today?
f) Has Gorai Road MHB Colony Co-op. Housing Societies Association formerly known as Gorai Road Maharashtra Housing Board Colony Federation submitted its proposal for purchase of open plots? If yes, then what is the progress on the said proposal?

I would appreciate your help to enable me to get prompt reply to my above questions.
