Amount taken by the shop keeper for milk - Nandini Fresh and Pure- is Rs.1.30 extra from the MRP. This is at 'Save Bazar' RM.Nagar. Almost all shops are taking like this in this area. Is there any guidelines from the company that they can sell at their fancy price? Shall we approach the consumer fourm or will you be able to do anything on this? Sahana C Advocate Ramamurthy Nagar [protected]
Nandini outlet next to "pai vihar" maintained by the same pai vihar administration nearby to cantonment railway station is selling Nandini products more than the MRP rate.
In anekal agent vasudev selling more than MRP. I purchased one 500ml curd packet MRP 21Rs. But they have asked 22Rs. They are charging more on all dairy products. Kindly take action against this. Pin 562106.

Authorized agent selling like this. How a common man can accept this.

Kindly look into the matter.

I am a resident of Maruthinagar Yelahanka, everyday I purchase 1 ltr milk from nandini parlour kogilu road near Foodex mart opposite to Naina clinic.1st of all they don't keep 1ltr pack everytime and when they keep they chargeb1 rupee extra on that I.e.npr is29/- but he charges 30/-giving the silliest reason on the earth that 1 rupee is service charge as milk comes at 5.00 a.m so he has to keep it in refrigerator.Hoping you people will take a serious action regarding this.

I am Tushar Amonkar form GOA (vasco). I had purchased 2 packet of nandini milk in the 3rd June 2015 at 7 pm in the evening. As the milk got spoiled at night at the time of boiling we complained it to the retailer (Mr. Yadav from Dabolim ) on 5th June Showing the empty packet. He first refuse to listen & upon forcing gave a call to Marketing person Mr Kumbhar from Belgaum (Karnataka). Mr. Kumbhar also denied to listen & started doubting our boiling method & condition of the vessel. he also asked to submit spoiled milk which was not possible. When a customer is coming with a complain neither the retailer nor the company person is responding. Retailer is saying its not his responsibility & Mr. Kumbhar is asking retailer to say to me that he can not do anything ask customer to go back. I would like to give complain on both the Retailer Mr. Yadav from Dabolim Vasco Goa & Mr. Kunbhar (nandini marketing person +91 [protected]) from Belgaum Karnataka.

Dear Nandini Authorities, I am a resident around Neeladri Nagar, electronic City, Phase-1 . There is a Nandini Milk Parlour situated in Neeladri Road opposite to Genesis Ecosphere Appartment where at any time of the day or night denies us nandini milk packets. This has been happening very frequently. Instead he promotes other brands such as Dodla, Heritage, Mukunda, Gomukhi which is not a nandini product i hope so. I have not faced any such problem in the other outlets. Will the authorities kindly look into this? thanks

I am a regular user of samrudhi Milk, from its introduction. The fat content should be 6 percent. But most of the days it will be for below the promised percentage, that even a lay person can find out depending on the layer of cream collects when the packet is opened and milk kept in the fridge for some time I request the officers concerned to see that the quality is maintained.

Hello, we have been using Nandini from last few years, particularly the blue packet, over the years the quality has been reduced and this time it shocked us as we all saw a thick black residue left after boiling the milk. I would like to bring this to authorities notice so that corrective actions are taken. Else Citizens health is at risk. We dont know what we are being served. We will be paying to get us into health issues by buying Nandini Milk Products.

Nandini milk booth @ E-Block, Sahakaranagar, Bangalore sells milk at higher price than MRP. For 1 ltr the MRP is Rs. 29/- but the owner sells at Rs. 30/-. This too during early morning 6 AM. On questioning the reason he replies arrogantly if you wish you can buy and he didn't asked any one to buy from him. Unfortunately the KMF web site has no option to complain about this.

                          Sir,
Time and again people have been complaining about being charged higher than MRP by every shop keeper in the area the reason is because they get that milk from the distributor at MRP. So they charge Rs. 2 for every litre and Rs. 4 if you are late arrival which is their freezing charges.

As per my understanding, any producer after considering their profit margin and the retailers margin they put an MRP on the product. In that case, the profit margin is covered by the producer which also includes a profit margin for the retailers or so called distributors which enable a consumer get a product on MRP.

I see no action been taken despite such malpractices going on in Bangalore. I have been staying in Bangalore since 2007 and have always faced these kind of situations. So, if I am buying 1 litre of Nandini Orange Milk everyday, I pay Rs 2 to Rs 4 extra on MRP meaning Rs. 60 to Rs 120 additional every month for no good reason.

If we are planning from the street side distributors of Nandini Milk - they always say that their quota has got exhausted. Why this is happening because they have tie-ups with the shopkeepers who purchase 60-100 litres of milk on a dialy basis to sell in their shops.

So, what about the common man who cannot afford to pay Rs. 60-120 extra every month.

Can you consumer courts take some positive action on these matters.

Please take some prompt and immediate action on people sellling products higher than MRP or the distributors selling the product at MRP whenst they receive at a lesser pricing than MRP.

Let's make this a turnaround of events taking place and people stop these malpractices - this is also one kind of corruption when you are being charged a price higher than MRP on a daily basis.

Dear Consumer Protection Council members and authorities - do we have a choice, if you guys don't take care o[censored]s - there is no way we can stop this and who know on how many such products we are being charged highly on a daily basis.

People are ready to pay that extra money coz they don't have the time to fight for such causes and that is the only reason such practices get a boost.

Come on guys, do something, this is for all citizens of Karnataka who consume Nandini Milk on a daily basis.

I have complaints about Nandini milk, more price for 1/2 liter or liter mild pack (1 Re extra for 1/2 and 2 Rs for 1ltr). In addition, I recently found out how even KMF (Nandini) is cheating people. After the price hike in March, I found the quality of milk to hv become poor (Watery). After few days, when I went to Nandini parlour to get milk, I asked if they had any different variety. The lady there told me that yes, they had two blue packets for regular milk for same price, one which is good and gives thick milk for coffee and curds (marked Homogenized milk in Red on the pack) and the other not so good ordinary pack. I was shocked. How they are cheating people. Only because I asked, i got to know. But now, they have stopped that homogenized pack also. What is happening? Is thr no one to check and question them??

I am not really sure whether one of them is a fake one but the regular pack we get in all the stores is definitely not of the same quality it used to be before. I have tested using both and found the difference. The regular one is half filled with water itself. Nandini milk quality has really gone down but we are still paying high price. Somebody has to look into this matter.

Nandini Milk — Quality of Milk

The Nandhini Milk is supplied around the area of Mallathahalli. The quality of Milk obtained here is very Bad, First its not tasty and doesn't taste like Milk. The Milk spoils very quickly. If the milk is fermented for curd. then the curd quality is bad and there is thick layer formation which doesnt taste like curd. I request you to inspect the quality of milk sold in these areas, especially in interior areas of mallathahalli and also in bakeries. Because , These bakeries have large stock of milk and the quality is worse with them .
                            Dear Shantinew,

Even I too have been facing the same problem, Nandini milk is no longer the way it used to be before its completely watery, as when i drink milk there is no flavor of milk, its as if I am drinking powder milk with lots of water in it. The other day I made Badam milk at home and it tasted like flavored water.

I live n Rajarajeshwari Nagar and I have tried getting milk from various other Nandini parlor or booths available in our locality and all are turning out to be the same. Because of which I have turned to other milk source (MILK ROUTE) Its pricey costing Rs.20/- but trust me it gives you actual milk. But I pity those people who don't have the means to buy such costly milk.

I am pretty sure that Nandini is trying to cut its cost by producing such low quality milk. Hope more people to post more complaints here so that some action would be take.

I am forced to buy Nandini milk 500ml packet at higher prices than actual MRP from near by retail shop. 13.50 and 16.50 are actual MRP prices of two different Nandini milk packets but they are selling at 15 rs and 18 rs respectively. For a common man its very dearer price. Plz concern the issue. and take necessary action at the earliest.

How much he is earning illegally think once. if daily he sells 200 packets, 300rs extra on actual MRP. for one month 9000 rs his illegal income on only NANDINI milk packets. that means what about other product costs. how much illegal income he is earning.

He can do business not an issue but why he should put burden on common people. who ll go to his shop, below average people only . is it ..!! then how much burden for a common man. Already cost of living is more. again extra burden because of these guys.

Plz concern the issue. Take necessary action immediately.

Nandini Milk — Doubt in Quality of milk available in kankanagar bangalore

                              Hi,

                              I stay in bangalore karnataka.
I have seen many milk product companies (which assure to give 100% pure milk) are either selling milk powder mix milk or artificial.
One of doubtful companies is 'nadini' milk which comes in white and green label.

Please enquire and take the necessary action.
Also please update about the procedure.

                              Thanks,
                              Shuchita
I fully agree with you. All the shops in Koramangla 1'st block charging extra for Nandini Milk.

                              Milk — Higher Prices

I reside at dahisar west nr rlwy station. There is a milk supplier in the vicinity who charge rs.1 higher then the price mentioned on the product. Pls look into it as they are duping customers. Cartel is been formed by this dealers in the area and all charge rs.1 extra. Request you to take action on the same.

Nandini Milk — Products being sold for prices higher than MRP

This is probably the most common problem faced by consumers. Whenever I buy a pack of milk I have to pay 1 rupee extra on the MRP and every time I've asked for explanation, the dealer says "everyone does it". I just need to know why is there an MRP set if retailers are allowed to sell at a higher rate?
Same applies to cold drinks where the dealers supposedly take "cooling charges" in addition to the MRP.

Milk — Selling price more than MRP

Shopkeepers in this Balkum Dadlani vicinity like Chamunda and Jai Bhavani are selling Milk packets of companies like Amul, Gokul, Thorat etc, at 1 or 2 rupees above the printed MRP.
I too face the same issue in my locality (B.Narayanpura) on daily basis. Today I even fought with the shopkeeper for selling 500ml packet more than defined MRP.
Is there any way this issue can be escalated. But I hardly believe that any steps would be taken on them.
Also shopkeeper complained back saying that "We are getting the Nandini (blue color) milk packet (500 ml) for 14rs only(But MRP is Rs.13.50). If thats the case, they can't sell it for the same price". I am not sure whether this is true or not. But he also added that, "you can check with any shops nearby saying that, they also sell it for Rs.15 only". He agressively told that if required, go and complain to anyone. If educated people like us are being cheated by these shopkeepers, then think about the people who are un-educated or people who don't know about the rights to ask.
To my knowledge this shopkeeper, sells minimum 50packets of nandini blue milk packet (500 ml - Rs.13.50) & 50 packets nandini orange milk packet (500 ml - Rs. 16.50).
                              Per day Illlegal income - 3 * 100 = Rs 300.

Not only this, they also sell Tirumala milk packet or curd packet more than defined MRP. Another 100 packets / day.
                              Per day Illegal income - 1 * 100 = Rs. 100.

They don't even give any bills. By that way they simply escape from Sales Tax as well.
Any action on such shop keepers across India is very much essential to save the economy, such that the black money which is going to their pocket can be diverted to benefit of government for some good projects(which in-turn would benefit the people).
I have the same complaints as above about more price for 1/2 liter or liter mild pack (1 Re extra for 1/2 and 2 Rs for 1ltr).
Today I too fought with a Milk vendor, he is selling 200 g curd of Nandini of MRP Rs 8 at Rs 10, ( In Kegeri ). I bought two packs and had to pay Rs 20. His explanation is he has to pay to whole sale dealer Commision and cooling charges. He was not even ready to give a cover to carry the same. These mididleman in business including Nandini wholesale dealers are simple examples of corrupt Distrubution system we are having in India, Consumer is always Victim.

Nandini Milk — Nandini Milk is contaminated with Chemicals

Packed Milk/Curd — Overcharging than MRP

Shops in Bangalore are charge more than the MRP written on the milk/Curd packets.
When questioned on overcharge they are abusing and scolding.

I bought Nandhini milk and Curd from one shop in 7th Main, 3rd Stage, Gokulam (on the road opposite to Ganesha temple, Gokulam contor road).
Vendor charged Rs.14 for 500ml-12Rs(Blue) pack and Rs.17 for 500ml-15RsCurd pack. The reason he gave me for the higher cost is that the products are kept refrigerated.

half litre, milk Rs.12 (Sold at Rs.14)
half litre, curd Rs.15 (Sold at Rs.17)
Overall, I have got 4packs of milk and 2packs of curd for Rs.90 instead of the MRP Rs.78/-

I want to bring this into notice that milk and dairy products can not be sold without proper refrigeration.
If a booth or shop owner do not have enough facilities to keep the products preserved then they should not be given license to hold/sell Nandhini milk products. Anyways, the products cannot be sold at a higher price than MRP.

Nandini milk is not pure milk and Cow milk is not at all used single drop.

If you would like to check the milk...keep milk outside at 1hour..then immediately expired.

Not only nandini even thirumalai ...

This milk really not at all health ... i am sure...
Really don't know if it's gonna be safe buying Nandini milk... It happened to me on 12th of July... That the green milk packet is mixed with some kind of chemical or if it's the drainage water mixed to milk... It smells bad and when you drink you know the difference for sure... I'm shocked that Nandini milk could cause such problems.. I had food poisoning from 12th evening where I did drink the tea(made out of nandini green milk) and the same night I fell I'll cz of food poisoning cz of Nandini milk... And tried calling the toll free nos and others nos. today but no use and no response from their end... This s a serious issue.. Don't know how many are suffering like me.

The M.R.P on the milk packet is Rs. 10.50 but for it is charged at Rs.11 or Rs.11.50 even though M.R.P is Rs.10.50 but now the shops here has started charging Rs.15 even though current M.R.P is Rs.10,50.

me : M.R.P is 10.50 why are u charging Rs. 15 for it.
                                      Shopkeeper : Prices has increased.
me : Its not reflected in M.R.P and i will pay M.R.P.
Shopkeeper :I[censored] dont want then leave it but its for Rs.15.

This is a usual practice of shopkeepers here(HSR layout), they cite any such reason and overcharge and since it is being practiced here by all the shopkeepers, so whether u have to give them the price they ask for or u wont get it.

The same practice is followed in case of all milk products.

Same i have also faced..Here in Richmond road the shop opposite to convent road has been charging curd 10 rupees instead of 8 and they just dont want you to argue..they say if you dont want you can go and buy from some where else..And funny part is this is not the single shop who does this.None of the nandini guys are taking any action against customers being overcharged.

I wish some day the police/ some autherized person goes here and fine this shop fellows that much that they learn a lesson

I am a resident in Whitefield, Bangalore working for a software company at a senior level. I am writing to you for a common cause and a collective interest of the Whitefield neighbourhood.

"Nandini Milk and milk Products" are being sold at rates that are much more than the suggested MRP by the outlet located near Immadahalli Road, Whitefield, Bangalore. I am not sure if this is a standard / recommended practice elsewhere in the city as well. The reason stated by the one in-charge of the milk parlour is the refrigeration costs incurred.

Nandini brand is certainly well known (as well evinced by the periodic TOI advertisements) for the competitiveness of its pricing as compared to private dairy brands. So then, from a consumer point of view, this practice apparently reduces the attractiveness of the Nandini brand (from price perspective). I am sure that this practice of "middleman" or "brokering" [perhaps which is even illegal as sources of making black money] only tarnishes the brand equity of Nandini warding off all potential and current customers to seek other alternatives.

May I request KCMPF to take immediate action against such seemingly illegal practices plaguing the neighbourhood. This will not only ameliorate the conditions of consumer exploitation but also helps re-build the damaged brand equity of our "Nandini milk".

Over Pricing of Nandini Milk Products at local shop in Amruthahalli, Hebbal, Bangalore

An authorized Nadini dealer in Amruthahalli, Hebbal, Bangalore is selling Nandini Milk product overpriced by rs 1.50 p. (Charging 11 Rs for 9.50 ps MRP for half a litter of milk by justifying it is for his electricity bill payment).
Kindly clarify, whether we need to pay the MRP or more than that? As per my (limited) knowledge we are not supposed to purchase anything more than MRP.

We have one more problem, instead of taking it from the shops we went to the local dealer(i think he has some contract with Nandani) who sits on the road early morning to sell milk, but he refused to sell us the milk and asked us to purchase it from shops or take it from the delivery boy. Nandini Milk is a dearer commodity in the areas around Jnanabharati west side around the ring road.A booth at Doddabasthi road near to ring road started functioning recently and he also must have started supplying in bulk to to other shops around and for namesake a small portion he sells between 6.00A.M. & 7.30A.M.at MRP.Other shops sell @ Re.0.50/packet up to 9.00Am & Re.1.00/packet after that. This doesn't happen in a booth @ Ullal cross, 2KM away, where milk will be available all the time @ MRP.The the the concerned milk union/producer must have turned a deaf ear to consumers' vows like this.
Not only Nandini Milk but Local Shops near Hebbal - Kempapura are Over-Charging for Tirumala Curds and Other Curds Pack and Milk Packets by Rs 1 for Every Half Liter of Curds and 1 Liter of Milk. We are not Supposed to Pay Extra Then Why are we Ending Up Paying Extra, Will the Concerned Officials look into this Matter??????????????????????????

                                              hi
I have a complaint against all shopkeepers in bangalore charging more than the MRP written on nandini milk packet.
For full cream they charge from Rs 2 to Rs 4 extra on MRP. actual price for 1 lt. full cream is Rs. 24 but we have to pay 26 or 28 for the same.
Even if you tell them about this they don't bother.

I am from Bombay brother. Sorry, Mumbai. The useless Governments simply want to change the colonial names on the pretext of culture preservation. Why don't they demolish the colonial buildings and all that the good British gave them? The English that we are using right here is their alms.

Anyway coming to the grievance at hand, even here AMUL milk packets of 0.5 litre costs an MRP of Rs 12.50. But the shopkeepers charge Rs 13.00. Why? Simple. Because the Government is useless and acts impotent in such cases. Brother, it is better to QUIT INDIA FOREVER rather than complain. Nothing happens here. Nothing won't happen here. Unless you take a gun or a sword in hand and start slashing the testicles of rascals. That is the India in which you and I are staying.

I am ashamed to call myself an Indian.
Hiii myself sanath from mysore. i usually buy milk from near goblimara circle j.p.nagar mysore-08
2 days back i had been to buy 1/2 lt of milk and she charges me Rs 11/- for which is Rs 10.50/- MRP i asked that lady why you are charging more she told BEKADRE THOGOLE ELA CHANGE KODE NAM KASTA NAMGE GOTHU" and i have faced the same in the milk booth police booth near J.P.Nagar he threw money when i told i dont have change My question is if they really have problem in doing this business who forced them to start this business, I request the authority to take action and provide some small change to run business smoothly, and you should send a notice regarding the behavior i have hope the concerned person will take action,

                                                Hello Team,

I used by Nandini milk dailiy, and price for Nandini Milk is around 8 RS (MRP), however I used by on price of 9 Rs, earlier I though there is a problem with 1 Shop only, however later I found every shop in Kormangala (80FT road) - Bangalore, used to sell on price of 9 Rs. But as I had no other option I buy.

However, since last 3-4 days everyone selling on price of 10 Rs, and MRP still 8 Rs. Shopkeepr said the price is hiked, if price is hiked then it should be mentioned as MRP.

As far I know, as per government rule one should not sell on more than MRP.

I am not sure if this is issue with shopkeer or it's directly from Nandini Milk.

I am happy to pay on MRP whatever amount it is.

Request you to kindly investigate on this, it will help many other guys as well.

                                                Gala. — Hike beyond MRP

                                                Hi,
I would like to register a complaint against a small (gala) shop in my vicinity that charges consumers beyond MRP. I doubt that the owner would also hold a license. I purchased a cigarette packet brand: Gold Flake Lights. The MRP cost is rs.44.00/- & the shop keeper charges rs.50.00/-. He also sells the same cigrattes in loose (i.e as no. o[censored]nits as per requirements on hiked prices). The sop contains more items which I have not yet purchased. Please take action and respond asap.

Exactly...I face the same problem everyday

Nandini Full Cream milk MRP is mentioned as 11 Rs. whereas the shopkeeper is selling at 13.5 Rs...And when I tried to talk to him about this, he shouted at me telling me that this is the price he is gonna sell at so I can either buy of [censored] off...

Can somebody here get me the number of nandini milk office so that I can have a chat about how much the MRP really is???

                                                Thanks

There is a mafia of milk traders growing in Bangalore and this mafia is led by retailers. No one knows the office of Nandini milk head office. No one cares about the customer anymore.
People like us have to pay the price, no matter what. There is no regulation of prices.
India is such a bad place to live in nowadays. We seem to be independent from British rule, who will save us from mafias like these?
                                                Hi,

Its the same case in Bellandur also. The MRP on the packet is 13 Rs for an orange cover pack. But the buggers take 15Rs. There is no use protesting or fighting with them. Bcos, if not me, there is some one else who will buy for 15 Rs. Can any person from Nandini milk office take any action on this??

                                                Regards

                                                  Milk Price Anomaly.
Nandini milk has become a dearer commodity in the areas around Jnanbharathi western side near to ring road. A nandini booth at Doddabasti road , near to Kenchanapura cross started functioning recently and he also must have resorted to bulk sell to shops and a small portion keeps for selling at MRP, between 6AM & 7.30PM only. Evenings he again sells at Re.0.50 more than MRP. However the shops sell at Re.0.50/- more/packet up to 10AM & Re.1.00 more/packet afterwards. However this booth has become helpful for bulk lifters only. It is required to review the license of the said booth in respect of this. However this type of malpractice doesn’t happen in a Nandini booth at Ullal cross around 2KMs away and milk will be available @ MRP all the time.

".. not sure nobody will cares about this people.. because i never heard the Nandhini products prices are gone high i only know there is a proposal for hike.. but the milk booth people already started collected more money.. could someone help me to lodge a complaint against thes buggers..or get me the phone number...my phone number is [protected].
I want the price list for nandhini milk (fino pack&brick pack), 200ml, 500ml, 1000ml packs in tamilnadu, what's the margin given for the super distributor, sub distributor&retailshops is there is any constrain, pls mention it
                                                  thankingyou.
If the MRP printed on the packet violated why actions are not taken? These traders do not issue reciept to prove these violation! The scarce supply also encourage these petty traders for such telemarketing. Even in the nandini booth at Kencanapura cross at ORR also with understanding with these traders around and a small portion of their supplies will be kept for sale in the booth to a maximum of 1/2 hours in the morning and the bulk of the supply made to the booth clandestinely routed to these traders here to sell at a higher price. Milk will be available at these black marketeers at any time at a higher price. With so many complaints pouring in Why the authorities become action less!!

The person who is manning the place is invariably missing in the early mornings for long periods of time as he is busy distributing milk on his two wheeler. This happens everyday, and it is very irritating. Please do the needful to set the functioning right.

I have noticed that the packing print is different at various outlets/shops for blue packages. Even the Nandini outlet has the packing print different. Apart from print the size of the packets also varies. The quality of milk at Nandini outlet is different that other shops. The Nandini outlet milk is better when compared to milk sold at shops and delivered at door step. Even the stamp of printed date varies. Question is how to find which one is coming directly from Nandini dairy and which one gets tampered. If anyone has observered similar situation , pls share your thoughts.

I am a resident of Bangalore HAL Airport Road area. In my locality, the local Nandini milk distributors seems to have come up with some fake Nandini milk buisiness. They mixup the fake packets with the good ones and sell/distribute them to the consumers. The packets are priced the same with the geneuine single toned milk packets, but the milk will be more toned and some times even bad. The colour of the packets will be slightly pale blue and rest all looks same. Looks like some one is using double toned milk in the single toned milk packets and making some money out of it.

I am a resident of BSV Nagar, Bangalore.

I have the same complaints as above about more price for 1/2 liter or liter mild pack (1 Re extra for 1/2 and 2 Rs for 1ltr).
I am not really sure whether one of them is a fake on but the regular pack we get in all the stores is definitely not of the same quality it used to be before. I have tested using both and found the difference. The regular one is half filled with water itself. Nandini milk quality has really gone down but we are still paying high price. Somebody has to look into this matter.
i am a resident of marathahalli and i've been noticing some granules and even black dust particles settling down in the milk pan. after the milk is boiled and cooled the top milk is ok but as the quantity decreases in the milk container the bottom milk is dirty with some black particles. i've complained so many time to my milk distributing fellow but of no help. is there anybody else also having same experience??
