from past 2 months i have not recieved my passport,as i m in very much need for it, always the status on their site shows that police report is cleared and is under process. if everything is fine then what is the issue, my file no. is A012268 with passport of my name Varun Bali

The police verification had been done and i had been contacted to the police and they clearly mentioned and guided that they have sent the police verification record the concern department and they told me to contact the regional pass port office at koramagala as per the information i had been to the office and say informed me that the record as not sent and i AGAIN visited the police for the further report and AGAIN the police officer informed me that they have sent the report to the concern department.

So i am throne here and their and i have not received any thing but waste my time and MONEY.

I have SEEN PEOPLE GETTING THERE PASS PORT WITH IN EXCEPTED TIME i e 40 DAYS.

I THINKING I AM THE 1 WHO IS FACING THIS PROBLEM EVEN THOUGH I SUBMITTED REQUIRED DOCUMENT.

I again here by requesting you to kindly have a look on my status of my passport. Last Monday(28.03.2011) I have applied for Police Clearance certificate (PCC) for Kuwait but they said that the police verification was not completed. I had given a letter to Adverse Report section for Police verification and they said that Police will report my house within 10days but still they have not done. I inquired with our area police station and they said that they had not received any such documents for my passport.

I had received the VISA from my Kuwait company and it will be expired by 5th May 2011 so I need to make a travel before that. But still police verification is not completed. Please help me.

passport — Regarding delay of PASSPORT arrival

This is regarding passport delay concern. I have applied for indian passport on date DEC 1, 2008 in Madurai regional office, But i have not received passport till date (01/03/09). and had attached all required documents along with my passport application along with the residential proof of more than 1 year as i am wating For May Pass Port, However still i haven't Recived any acknowledgment For the same ..
My police report was also clear.
Initially the passport status at the bhopal passport website showed that my passport Police Report varefied .. my passport has not yet been delivered while passports of some of my Ankul Pass Port have already been delivered.
And i am still unaware of the actual status of my passport as i haven't received any acknowledgment or letter from passport office. Looking forward to your kind attention to my problem.

My son's passport( passport no H9633542) had no mention of Date of Issue and Date of Expiry due to which it was rejected by Malaysia Embassy for visa process. We submitted the passport for correction on 1July 2010 to the passport officer at Bikaji cama place. we were told by the officer that the corrected passport will be dispatched on 5 July 2010. But to my dismay, the passport has still not been dispatched. We had already got our tickets booked and waiting for the passport back. the Passport staff did not pay heed to our request for the minor correction and made us run pillar to post for the same on 1 july 2010. I even requested the officer to give the corrected passport to me in hand to which he refused.
Is there anyone who can help us in this matter.

Yes, it is ABSOLUTE & very much true that Delay in Passport. tHEY Just eye wash and reluctant to work.

I am very much worried and confused with the attitude of Passport office at Bangalore FOR PAST ONE YEAR- I have submitted all documents, from far distance I have attended personally to Suptd on 29 /4/10.
SOME SIGNIFICANT BEHAVIORS OF PASSPORT OFFICE:
i) For inquiry They Never Lift telephone or engaged continuously during the specified enquiry time...!!!
ii)Very un operative attitude even we visit personally- No user friendly at all.
iii) If you check the status of your application on web- very confusing lines - "as your file has objection, kindly contact superintend bet 9.30 to 12- BUT THEY NEVER CLARIFY ABOUT WHAT IS THE OBJECTION, WHAT IS THE REMEDY .
iv) How it is possible for a person (like doctors, lawers and any professionals ) visit the Passport office at Bangalore without sopecific reply or clarification from them.
v) The officers never reply the postal query.
Hence, WE CAN UNDERSTAND the attitude of PASSPORT OFFICE whether THE CUSTOMERS ARE AT THEIR MERCY? Pleas suggest me How they will be made accountable? Whether to approach Consumer Courts or to The Hon'ble Minister Sri.S.M.Krishnaji. will the Minister even SOLVE this

I have applied for passport something about 10 days ago but on the exit from passport office they didn't give me the letter of acknowledment which is neccesary for police inquiry. I went to passport office today but they told meo that I have misplace it. please tell me what i have to do?

I applied for my passport on august 08th 2012 at passport ofiice at gangtok... My file number is CA[protected] and Reference num: 453/FRO/8B/GTK. Varification and all are also completed and sent to kolkata.
But till now I am not getting application status online neither any response from passport office kolkata. when I asked to office at gangtok they said it will come, it will come only dispatch of passport is left... so when it will come... its too delay more than 6 month... its really unbearable and my PhD work is suffering because of this... I really need it for my studies... please do response.

I am planning to visit chennai during Nov, please let me know how how you proceeded it. • I’ve issued passport in tatkal quota.
• And called for post passport verification. I attended the same and got verified from police station.
• But after 7 months I got letter from regional passport office that I’ve to give clarifications regarding adverse police verification report about residential proof for 1year before applying the passport.
• I applied for the passport 2 months after completing my degree course. And I completed degree in different district which 75-80 kilometers away from my residential place.
• Keeping this in mind, in police verification report he indicated that I was in hostel during that period, since I was doing my degree course.
• But during my final year there were no regular classes and I’ve carryout project work. Project work can be done elsewhere so I was travelling daily to my college to attend classes, exams and to carryout the project work.
• I went to regional passport office and gave clarifications same as above then they got satisfied with the same. And they informed me they’ll re-initiate the police verification. During this period I was unemployed and was staying in home only and searching job.
• Meanwhile I was waiting for the police verification call, during this I got appointed in merchant navy, for that I’ve go abroad for working.
• Till this period I didn’t get any call from police verification.
• After completing my degree course I was being the fresher unemployed for 2 years and now got the job, so that personally I went to police station and explained the same in the police station, then verbally they granted me to join to the job and assured me that they’ll take care of police verification with my parents.
• Then 2 and half months after my joining to my job, my parents were informed by the police station about police verification of passport.
• So that time they asked my physical presence, since I was working in abroad and working on contract basis it was unable for me attend the police verification.
• Then in police verification report they noted that applicant is not present in the given address during police verification. And he noted the place name from where I boarded the ship.
• Keeping the above point in mind regional passport office has sent a letter to give clarifications whether to impound the passport or not.
• Now I can clarify them about this. But now, if I visit the regional passport office they’ll again re-initiate the police verification and it’ll take time.
• Now I’ve join back to my job otherwise I’ve wait for long time for police verification.
• I do not have any other source to earn money since I’m working on contract basis in merchant navy.
• And if I wait for the police verification then I don’t know how much it’ll take. Later I’ve face problem about my job for rejoining because of long period of gap.

MY PASSPORT IS ALMOST READY BUT THERE IS A PROBLEM OF ANY KIND OF DELAY. I WAS ALREADY ENQUIRYED BY LOCAL PASSPORT ENQUIRY OFFICER AND THAT IS CLEARED. I WANT REASON OF DELAY OF MY PASSPORT DISPATCH. SO PLEASE GIVE ME A DETAIL.
