I have applied for renewal of my passport on[protected], police verification is done almost 40days back and still the status is saying (it is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the dispatch of passport has been delayed and will now be dipatched in a week 's time ) since one month. For get a visa need new passport number.

I applied the passport for my wife in Lucknow passport office on 2007. Now almost 3 year completed but couldn't get the passport. Many time I personally met to the PRO officer in Lucknow and asked him anything is pending from my side or not. that guy replied nothing is pending, you will get police inquiry soon in Allahabad.
But till now there is no progress. I am not sure how to follow up this . I am really screwed up the service given by Lucknow office.

1. My wife Mrs Ritu Khajuria had applied for issue of Passport from Jallandhar on 01 Jan 2008 vide File No. JALW96247808.



2. Police verification was carried out by Police Station Divsion No.2 on 22 Jan 08 vide 1059-CRPC/25-01-08 and 68-6V/PS Div No. 2 Pathankot.Infact, Again Police Station Division No.2 had called my wife at police station on 24 Jan 08 for obtaining certain signatures on verification form. Police had also taken one Photograph of my wife and one residence proof of my wife from my organisation i.e INDIAN AIR FORCE.



3. Its now about 8 months back my wife had applied passport but till date she has not received her passport. Online ENQUIRY site is showing the passport STATUS as Police Report is incomplete and the case is being examined.This STATUS IS BEING SHOWN FROM LAST 4 MONTHS from last 4 months.

4. From 17 Jul 08 site of online enquiry has also not been updated.

5. Also I had applied passport for my son(UTKARSH KHAJURIA) along with my wifevide JALW96247908 and passport was issued to him on 03 Mar08 .

I have applied for passport on 27th Jun 2008. My Police Verification is completed on 3rd Jan 2009 still I don’t know Status of my Application. Thane Regional Passport Officer is really very lazy... Even they don’t update the Website (Passport Status Page) it was last updated on 21 Jan 2009. It is really shameful for Indian government and thane passport office. They are assuring that we will get passport within 45 days but as in my case 7 month is already gone and still I don’t know the status.

Even I don’t aspect any action from this portal but want to convey message that S. Y. Chavan chief officer of thane regional is a very Lazy and irresponsible. One example is here ... On 26 DECEBMER 2008 whole India were working all the government office were open and his staff was on holyday (celebration BOXING DAY).

I HARJEET SINGH MALHI being an ex-serviceman (Indian Navy) had earlier made my passport from Kochi (Kerala) as I retired from the service from Kochi, my previous passport expired on Jan 2010.
It is taking a lot of time for the issue of my next passport, my File Reference is No: JAL-O[protected].
I have already personally put up an enquiry about the status of my passport on the 04th of April 2011 at the passport office Jalandhar.
I was told by the passport officer that my confirmation from the passport office Kochi is awaited and we will be sending them a reminder about the same.
I still don’t understand that why this is taking so much time. Is there no other way to speed up the enquiry about my previous passport issued from Kochi Passport office .? Why is the Kochi Passport office not responding ? Why so much of delay for the confirmation of previously issued passport?
Whereas the status of Ministry of External Affairs Government of India Application Status of Passport Offices doesn’t give the actual status which says Police Report has not been received. Though being update regularly.
Presently I have got a job in hand abroad, and I am eagerly waiting for my passport.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The executive director shall have general charge of the operations and administration of the public utilities staff. It shall be the duty and responsibility of the executive director to supervise and manage the offices and personnel on the public utilities staff and formulate written policies and procedures for the effective and efficient operation thereof. The executive director shall be responsible for hiring persons on the staff who meet established qualifications for comparable positions of duty and responsibility. The public utilities staff as formerly Economic and Planning Division, Legal Division, Engineering Division, Accounting Division and Administrative Services Division. Also The Executive Director shall manage all committees and contract employees. The Executive Director is to manage the day to day operations of the association. This includes but limited to operating the organization at a surplus, act as liaison between the Executive Committee and the Committee Directors and continue to develop membership strategy to attracting new members and retaining existing members. The Executive Director will manage the Nominating Committee. The Executive Director will uphold the Constitution and By-Laws and recommend Amendments to better serve the organization and its members.


(2) The following personnel and members of the public utilities staff shall be competitively appointed by the executive director and shall have at least the knowledge, skills and abilities set forth herein. These requirements shall not be waived, and possession thereof shall be certified by the State Personnel Board.

(3) A Chief engineer who is a graduate licensed engineer and who has a thorough knowledge of engineering principles as applied to the design, construction, operation, maintenance and expansion o[censored]tility facilities and rate structure determination. The chief engineer shall possess a thorough knowledge of techniques and practices of public utility service and regulation and shall have the ability to evaluate same and to formulate accurate conclusions therefrom.




ENTITLEMENTS
SALARY : Salary shall be paid monthly at $10, 000.00 USD after tax .
TRAVEL : Drillog Petro-Dynamics shall pay each intercontinental trip $3, 000.00 flat rate travel/entertainment allowance to employee. Travel shall be by business class/first class. However for the purpose of commencement, the cost of travel ticket shall be paid in addition to travel/entertainment allowance. Cost shall be substantiated and shall be the rate charged at the Period/time of purchase. Drillog Petro-Dynamics shall also take care of employees' travel ticket including that of employees' family.

WEEKEND/PUBLIC HOLIDAY DUTYALLOWANCE
Where an employee is required to be on duty on Saturdays, Sundays and Gazette public holidays, he will be paid as follows:
Total Performance: 9.0%- for work done for 6hours and above
Partial Performance: 4.5%- for work done for 3 hours but not up to 6 hours
Transport Allowance: $300. 00 USD per day worked
Meal Allowance: $80.00 USD per day worked

Presence Weekend (PW), this rule will apply to periods arising from delays in evacuating the field, location site or office according to the arrangements subsisting between the employee and the Department in question.

SHIFT ALLOWANCE
Drillog Petro-Dynamics /Employer shall pay shift allowance of $850.00 USD only per shift to employees who work on shift either in the offices or fields.

COMPASSIONATE LEAVE
In the event of death or serious illness of employees’ father, mother, wife husband or child, necessitating presence of staff, Drillog Petro-Dynamics /Employer shall grant compassionate leave with pay up to a maximum of 18 working days per year.



HOURS OF WORK
The standard working hours shall be 40 hours, 5-day working week; Monday to Friday inclusive.Saturdays, Sundays and Gazette public Holidays shall be rest days. However, some employees’ who work on Shift may have different work hours and rest days other than Saturdays And Sundays.


FIELD LOCATION
Employees’ in the field shall work in accordance with the roster in Operation in a particular location. Hours of work and daily starting and Closing times will be determined in each location to suit operational Needs. Should there be a need to vary existing hours or introduce new Hours of work, the employee will be given prior notification.


INTERNATIONALIZATION OF EMPLOYEE
Employees’ shall be given the opportunity for international assignments Within the group for the acquisition of experience and exposure to enhance their competence and not limited to job engagements as shall Be required by the Drillog Petro-Dynamics


VACATION
Employees' shall be authorized Four (4) times paid vacation during the term of the contract, to be used at the employees ‘discretion after duly informing and receiving approval from employer’s management.



EMPLOYMENT STATUS
This engagement is a family status employment as such, employees’ are fully allowed to make job engagement trip with their family if deemed necessary by employee and shall be accommodated by the Drillog Petro-Dynamics for duration of contrac


ACCOMMODATION

Drillog Petro-Dynamics shall provide for employees quality single or family housing accommodation in the Drillog Petro-Dynamics housing upon employees’ preference of accommodation type.

a) Single Accommodation:

This will be a Three (3) Bedrooms Flat bungalow inclusive of a sitting room and Two (2) rooms detached for employees’ domestic staff.

b) Family Accommodation:

This will be a Six (6) Bedrooms Flat bungalow inclusive of Two (2)
Sitting rooms and Four (4) rooms detached for employees
Domestic staff.

c) Drillog Petro-Dynamics shall also make monthly payment to employees’domestic staff for duration of job engagement with the Drillog Petro-Dynamics .

MEDICAL, DENTAL AND OPTICAL
Drillog Petro-Dynamics shall provide free Medical, Dental and Optical care for employees’ registered dependents (a spouse and maximum of 6 Children, not more than 25 years of age.


INEVITABLES
i. Notwithstanding any thing herein stated, neither party shall be considered in default in the performance of its obligations under this Agreement as a result of Force Majored.
The term “Force Major” shall include but not limited to Act of God, War, Nation wide strike, Lockout,



Riot and Civil commotion. A strike or Lockout embarked upon by only the EMPLOYEE.
ii.. If an interruption of work occurs as a result of “Force Major” for up to seven (7) days, 85% of the basic daily fees shall be paid as standby.
However, if such suspension results in EMPLOYEE not being able to perform its duties for more than
seven (7) days, then Drillog Petro-Dynamics may at its option elect to continue the implementation of this agreement at adjusted standby rates to be negotiated by Drillog Petro-Dynamics and EMPLOYEE or to terminate the contract.


EFFECTS OF LEGISLATION
Where the Government of the Nigeria either by legislation or administrative pronouncement, provides for new and/or additional benefits, includes increase in salaries or directs that such benefits should apply to private sector, the Drillog Petro-Dynamics and employee shall meet to discuss the new measures.


DISCIPLINE
The employee recognizes the right of the Drillog Petro-Dynamics to discipline staff for infringement of company regulations; however the company shall formally discuss with the employee any disciplinary action to be taken thereafter which may result in suspension, termination or dismissal.


TERMINATION
In addition, the company reserves the right to terminate the employment of any staff who flagrantly or repeatedly fails to comply with the company’s code of conduct or commits an offence of a magnitude that the company considers him unsuitable to be in its employment.

SUMMARY DISMISSAL
In rare cases, an employee may be dismissed for the commission of a grave offence, in which case no notice is given. Such offences shall include inter-alias.
a) Theft and fraud in connection with company’s business or property. Any staff found guilty or implicated in any of these offences may be liable to prosecution.
b) Disclosure of confidential information of the company or its
Associate to a third party.
b) Conviction and/or imprisonment for criminal offence.

The Employee’s High Commission, Embassy/Consulate shall be given benefit of consultation in any case involving the dismissal of its citizens as such, Employee will also be given the chance of fair hearing and proper investigation prior to decisions conclusion


OFFICE ASSETS TO BE PROVIDED BY EMPLOYER:

a) Computer resources: Laptop Computer, 1.6 GHz Processor, 256 MB RAM, 24XCD-RW, 30GB Hard Drive, Floppy Drive, Integrated Network Adapter, Internal 56K Modem, Spare Battery and Necessary Software. Full time Internet access is also made available
Phones: the employer will provide each employee with one (1) landline and one (1) mobile
telephone. This shall have a reasonable credit limit application per month.

b) Local transportation: Shall be fully provided for employee by employer.

C. Office Space
Adequate private office space in a conducive and comfortable work environment shall be provided for
each employee.

I applied for re-issue of my minor daughter's, Tunvii Khurana passport on 29.04.2009 at RPO, Delhi, File No. M008785 (Key No. [protected]).

After depositing the penalty he did not receive his passport.

Passport Status Information Removed from Lucknow Passport site
I have applied for passport in august 2008 and didn't got my passport yet . It was dispatched to the Postoffice once but due to my non availablity i was unable to recieve and so it was posted back to Lucknow but the after that I went to Passport office Lucknow and checked from enquiry and applied for redispatch and then after that on passport site I was gettinf the info about mny passport that it will be dispatched in a weeks time but after 1-1.5 month there wasn't any information regarding my passport dispatch and it is 1-2 months from then . Now what should I do to get my passport either I should complain the to Lucknow board or anything like this .
