passport — passport procedure not started yet after 7 months

very honorably, i had applied for my passport on 16 may 2008 in suwidha centre amritsar.its 7 months over now, and on my verifications i came to know that its still in amritsar suwidha centre. i went to jalandhar office 4 times because suwidha staff said me so. as i was given file no of jalandhar which is z326046.it should be in my hands now but its too much late. please help me...they are making fool of me which is unfair . please help me quickly...

In the website the status saying that police report has not been received.But I completed the police enquiry on 30/Nov/08(sunday)itself.That police man told i will be send ur form tomorrow(25/Nov/08) and u will get ur passport with in 10 days.But more than 15 days to go, i never got my passport.
Sir i have completed my engineering degree, so now i have a oppurtunity to go abroad, Due that delay i never go that.

Respecetd sir,
I applied for the reissue of passport as i wanted to change my surname after marriage.when i see my reissued passport my surname was changed but it was a ECR passport. My old passport which was valid, was a ECNR passport, even i have submitted my postgraduate degree with original verification at the time of submitting the application.
I think this is the mistake by passprt office side, so what should i do for ECNR stamp of this passport.

I have applied a fresh Passport on 8th February, 2010. As I was staying at two places for the past 1 year, I have mentioned both addresses in the application form. Police verfication was over for the current address during the second week of March. I didn't receive any calls for the second level of verification. I have just checked the status of my passport and it is not showing the current status and shows some error

The police enquiry was done within 2 months. But After that the status of the application is coming Police enquiry cleared , Passport under process.
This status is there for last 10 months & we are still awaiting the passport. I have lodged many complaints thru emails to

My name is Kathleen Dcruz I had applied for an Passport on 02/05/2011 ( Passport File No: COCB[protected] in Regional Passport Office Cochin,but till now I did’nt get my passport.When I applied for the passport there was an problem that at the proof submitting time that actually my matriculation studies was in one address and after we changed the residence to another address from this address I took my Voter’s ID.And I am married to Trivandrum .But still I am staying in my house itself so when I applied for passport I kept my staying address.Because my Husband is working Trivandrum and also I am working in Ernakulam Cochin so I am staying with my parents.After 2 months of my application date for passport I got a letter from the passportoffice for the clarification of address.So we went to clarify it and we them whether there is any other problem to get my passport they said that there is no problem we will issue the passport within days .But till now we did’nt get any information from the passport office .When we called them they saying you have to pay penality of Rs 5000 /- to get the passport.They saying you gave wrong information we had handovered the copies of all address details and Police clearance is also finished.Is it we must pay the amount because we had already given all the required details for the passport,so why they are threatening us please take an immediate action this brutal performances of the authority of the passport office.When asked for this clarification they were speaking very badly to us .Hope you will give the best assurance for me.

This is Sriram Kotha applyed for passport on[protected] after success ful completion of police verification in portal its showing that by[protected] my passport will be dispatched after 16th it is showing status as "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time" please tell me how can approch for getting this passport and not able to call and ask about passport status as telephone numbers are not working and mail also not going to concern mail-id [protected]@nic.in .

After 3 months the status shows that your passport has been despatched on dec 1 . But until i dont receive my passport . I have asked to my nearest post office . passport authority — Delay in Passport Dispatch

I had applied for passport "File Reference Number : PAT-G[protected]" and all the formalities have been completed and after police verification the status was that the passport will be delivered shortly.

From last 3 months the status is saying "IT IS TO REGRET THAT DUE TO UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES THE DISPATCH OF PASSPORT HAS BEEN DELAYED AND WILL NOW BE DISPATCHED IN A WEEKS TIME."
But till now the passport has not been dispatched kindly look after the matter and dispatch the passport as I need it for my official work.

I have been checking my passport status for lost one month, each & every time I have found the status: ( THE PASSPORT WILL SOON BE DESPATCH ) but nothing has been change in status for last one month.You are kindly requested to send the on very urgent basis.

i was applied for the passport file No A023640 dated 27.04.2010 Same is the case here, I am a resident o[censored]-8, 2nd floor, West Patel Nagar, New Delhi and status at the website shows the same issue, passport has been dispatched on 11.08.2010, but I dont have any clue about this till now, many times i visited in your office then the officials reply that i should search in post offoce, but in post office have not receive my passort yet. the COMPLAINT number and the Enquiry number is the same[protected] which is never received and is either busy or ringing, where do we complaint about this????, please provide my passport as soon as possible.
