I have been waiting in ashok pillar for a while
Even though the bus route is via Thiruvanmiyur the conductor is not allowing me to board inside the bus
He is saying not to board into the bus
This is offense in my side take severe action in this case
Morning time they are picking up a passenger why not picking up the passenger in other time I don't know why please take severe action
This should not be continued
They should pick up passenger to thiruvanmiyur though the bus is via Thiruvanmiyur only.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to bring to your notice that the driver of PRTC bus (Chennai-Pondicherry) drove rashly resulting in an accident on 20-Jan-24 around 5:45 PM. Fortunately, there was no injury to anyone.

Bus # : PY01-BV-5184

The bus driver had to take a U-turn in ECR-OMR link road in Sholinganallur. Instead of waiting on the side and checking for incoming traffic, he started taking U-turn without any wait time. This caused a motor bike to skid and the driver fell down as he applied sudden break. He was not expecting the bus to turn so suddenly. Luckily, the driver did not suffer any injury. But he could have easily been injured or went under the bus tire and lost his life altogether.

The driver instead of apologizing for his reckless driving started abusing the bike drivers and onlookers when we questioned his rash driving.

Request you to pls take appropriate disciplinary action against the driver.

Py 01 bv 5178 bus on 17/01/2024 4.am trip to Chennai the bus was filled with passengers reserved seats too . I've reserved two seats and that was occupied by non reserved passengers on asking the conductor he spoke harsh words as that to stand for whole trip as I didn't come at 3.50 am after a long quarrel I was made to sit on my seat this is soo ridiculous and I'm mentally disturbed by these activities by concerned prtc employee. It's been a regular practice done at the reservation buses . The act of reservation is been meaningless for prtc corporation and it has to regularised for passengers comfort not to conductors illegal earning.

Conductor needs to give the ticket only for the passenger provided destination and not to the last stopping of the bus. Also he didn't respond properly for our concern....

Very rude to the passengers... And there is no space for passengers to stand

Sir, i have boarded at thiruvanmiyur for going to pondicherry. While purchasing tickets from conductor he asked me Rs.210/- from thiruvanmiyur to pondicherry for one ticket. I asked conductor from thiruvanmiyur to pondicherry AC bus fare is Rs.180/- why are you asking Rs.210/- immediately he told me that you get down from bus.. without explaining the fare details... being a government bus conductor, how can he tell the passengers to get down...

Conductor is demanding for extra amount for carrying extra bag
One backpack and
One big shopper bag - katta pai (Tamil)

For this i never asked for extra money, but this conductor is behaving very rudely and demanding extra money for it.

I'm lokesh working as a scientific assistant in department of atomic energy on May 20, 2023 i went Chennai for personal work while returning i tried to board at Ashok pillar in prtc bus that driver told kalpakkam we won't stop and bus will not go that route also then he told if i allowed you 25 approx seat will be empty after kalpakkam that's loss for me so I won't allow and that driver stop the bus in side of the road then they talked with me rudely...this is happennig for all people those who are going to kalpakkam daily please address the issue or don't bring your prtc bus in tamilnadu road please drive within your state itself

PY01CH6676 - pondicherry bus is not at all have responsibility about passengers or public. Not stopping in correct location or place stopping in middle of the road. Both conducter and driver are useless and very irresponsible about the job.

I board bus from guindy Chennai... All the bus goes through Kalpakkam... But the conductor never accepts passenger from Kalpakkam... But he fills with kalpakkam passenger from Tiruvanmiyur... The passengers from Chennai to Kalpakkam are not given importance... They never allow them to board the bus... How can a government bus say not to board people... And how a passenger will travel from Chennai to Kalpakkam with all this worst government bus service...

Hi i booked the ticket in prtc on 13/08/2022 from banglore to Pondicherry .My pickup location is Shanthinagar bus stand. I reached there by 11 am. The starting time is 11.15 am. I waited there for 1 hour and bus didn't show up. When i asked in enquiry he said the bus left @ 10 50 am. How this is possible . Very awful from prtc. I want to attend an important meeting in the evening. Everything is mesed up with this. I want componsiatian for this nonsense behaviour. Don't play with the time of others...

Prtc bus ticket price is 120 from Pondicherry to Thiruvanmiur but bus conductor charging 140rs which is till Koyambedu, when i asked question they simply told i[censored] are intrested come or get out of the bus.

Bus timing 5am on 27th Jun'22.

Then i board the bus 5.25 conductor charged 120rs only without raising any concern.

It is directly loot from the public by government employee.

My name is Murugavel K, i am a frequent traveller from pondicherry to chennai. I usually book bus tickets online via BUS INDIA app, I have booked a PRTC 5.25 am bus on 27th Dec 2021 and i have been allocated seat no '43'. I boarded the bus on Indra Gandhi Signal stop (around 2 kms from pondicherry bus stand), the bus was crowded and every seat was occupied, i was searching for seat no 43 and to my concern not a single seat is numbered. I took the issue to Bus conductor, he replied to me stating lethargically every seat is occupied and i cant allot you a seat anymore. I saw many people didn't e reserve the ticket but they were occupying the seat and i questioned the same with conducter, he told that, only the people boarding from the pondicherry bus stand has the right to sit in the reserved ticket and if not boarded there is no possibility that you will get a seat. I was shocked by the reply of conductor, since i am a frequent traveller i know and i have boarded the same bus many a times in the same location and i havent been denied a seat. It seemed ridiculous. see the scenario here, I had booked the tickets on 25th Dec (2 days prior to travel date) and i have been alloted seat number 43 and when i boarded the bus people who hasn't reserved the tickets were occupying the seats. I had to stand for the entire 3 hrs journey strangling myself in the crowd where i have paid 162 rs inclusive of online fees and people occupying the seat paying just 140 rs and not even reserving the seat prior. If the conductor had came in to the issue and asked anyone of the unreserved passengers to stand then the issue will be sorted but he didnt. He was cornering me and abusing me for asking the question.

I booked a ticket for pondicherry to Karaikal on 11th Jan 2021 for morning 5:20 am bus, they issued more than 30 tickets for this timing and on the day of journey they said they cancelled bus for the reason which they can't able to specify the reason if you decided to cancel the bus then why provided ticket for that timing?. Kindly, take some action about this.

I booked a PRTC ticket for a journey from Karaikal to Pondicherry on 4/11/2020 at 5.30 AM. But to my surprise, the bus started at 6 AM and despite being reserved, the conductor persuaded us to leave one of the reserved seats and asked us to sit close to each other not adhering to the social distancing norms prescribed by the government in this pandemic times.. Shame on the government protocols and the roadways corporation..

I am currently taking a journey from tirupati to pondicherry and i booked 2 seats in the prtc bus, when i got to the buse all seats were full.. I went to my seat only to find the seat is broken and i'm unable to sit in the seat and journey takes about 6 hours and i have to take this painful tripat night without a seat, i could manage but my mother is having spine problems, this is seriously outrageous

Sir i traveled in prtc local bus on 16.11.2019 at 6.00pm from pudhucherry bus stand to murungapakkam. I got the ticket no 141491. When i got down the bus stop at murungapakkam the conductor asked me the ticket. As i tried to take the ticket from my pocket he suddenly scolded me using vulgar words. I asked him why you are using these vulgar words even as i showed the ticket he got down from the bus and said that why you are pointing hand towards me and pushed me down fiercely. I tried to take photos. He told me nee yenna periya paruppa i will kill you and claimed the bus. Sir please take action against the irresponsible conductor.

Exactly @12:20 am, i lost my bus (Prtc) after a halt for tea break! With my essentials and luggages inside that too in a heavy rain! Out of desperation, i was running behind bus!
One gentleman called and asked, "can you chase it down"! With a childish weep, i said "i know, i can't but my everything is inside bus!
He smiled and said," come on, we'll catch it and took his vehicle (Mini load van with bunch of passengers inside), i boarded backside and that man risked in rain with a speed to catch my bus!
At some point, he chased the bus and i started swinging my arms to stop the bus and when bus stopped, i ran jumping from van with hell of anger and shouted like a devil pointing conductor how he started the bus without ensuring head count of passengers against tickets and how the driver started bus without a horn alert! At first, conductor pretended by threatening with a louder voice and when i started pointing questions of rules, everyone woke and calmed me down!

Mistakes:
1. Driver doesn't raised any horn alerts before starting, even while moving no horns raised!
2. Conductor doesn't took headcounts against tickets!
3. Also the driver wearing a bluetooth headset while driving without concentration!
4. The halt point is just on the roadside is not a regular or authorized halt point (It is not at all a halt point, just a tea shop)

Im ask ticket from chen - sirkali. Bt conductor gives ticket upto pondy. While i ask him to ticket till sirkali. He casually said "u buy a another ticket from sirkali once u reach pondy"

Here my travelling expense is high while i compare to take a single ticket instead of two tickets.

On 08-06-19 i booked the ticket from puducherry to chennai for my wife for the date, 17-06-19. The ticket was booked online through redbus app. On 17th morning i came drop my wife at the bus stand at 4.25am. At the time of booking i made sure that i was booking a ladies seat and also checked the adjacent seats. But at the time of boarding the bus when i checked a male passenger was sitting next to her seat. When i asked about the problem at the prtc help desk i was given a blatant answer that since it was booked online they cant do anything about it. I couldn't talk to the conductor because he was busy checking the tickets without seeing the details. So i urge the concerned authorities to take necessary actions to rectify this problem and a proper education of the rules of their own organization (PRTC) and to stop any such incidents like this from happening.

I'm from trichy. Myself and my wife travelled from muruga theater bus stop to hotel tamizh park bus stop. I went from front to back inside bus and gave money 20 rs to conductor, he gave the balance money of 6 rs but didn't give ticket. I asked him to issue ticket. He got down in the next stop and got in front side. Still i went and met him in the front and asked him ticket. He didn't issue and told us to get down as our stop came.
He didn't issue ticket purposely. I don't know how much money he makes without issuing bus ticket in his daily trips. Hope there will be action.

I am V.MUTHAIYA, (Mobile number [protected])Residing at Mamallapuram. I am working as a Assistant Professor in D.G.Vaishnav College., Chennai-106. Today 02/01/2018(Wednesday) at about 3.50 P.M, I was waiting at Kovalam ECR bus stop to go Mamallapuram ECR stop. A PRTC bus bearing Register number PY 01 0936 was came from Chennai, I got into the bus and asked ticket for Mamallapuram, but the conductor told me that bus wont stop at mamallapuram and he forced me to get down from the bus and driver stopped the bus, both driver and conductor scold me in filthy language. I requested the to stop the bus at Mamallapuram but the conductor assaulted on my cheek continuously then he pused me out of the bus . Also the conductor scold me that " if possible you go and complaint against me, i can face anybody". I dont know the name of the conductor and driver but i can identify them in directly. I kindly request you to take necessary against them. Thanking you.

Auto driver behaved aggressively and charged a high amount of rs 550 at 9am in the morning for a distance of about 10 kms. Just because we were tourists he fought with us and we were forced to pay the amount.

.. It was raining heavily.. And i was waiting for the chennai bus to come.. Tn1825 is the bus number which moves from pondy to chennai.. I was waiting for the bus in pondicherry.. This tn1825 bus don't stop the bus in the respective stop. My brother and i were literally chasing the bus hoping it would stop in the next stop at least.. But they dint.. I really astonished that whether they have heart or not i got drenched and carrying two heavy luggages..in accord signal the conductor peeped and said come and get into the bus.. So i got down from my bike and i was about to place my feet on the footboard but the bus driver has started the bus again.. I was about to fall on the road.. Hopefully nothing bad has happened to me.. This was the worst behaviour i have never seen in any of the bus driver.. The whole scene was happened between 12.20 pm to 12.35 pm. I would like to raise a complain against the driver.. Please take necessary actions.. If you need further more details i am ready to reply.

Bus no on 8-oct-18 travelled from pondy to chennai. Conductor told that last stopping will be guindy and will not go to cmbt. It's really a pain to catch auto or another local bus to reach cmbt. Auto are charing 2.50 rs. This also happened with bus no 5185 on last saturday morning at 6.30am. Why is that happening with prtc again and again. Higher officials pls take action

I think that india and pondichary are two different part of country.
We paid full money but we were not given seat.
It's corruption and i feel sad going in such journey.
We will never go to pondicharry
Please help us and do justice with us.
We all feel cheated and when talked to other customers then we got to know that this happens regularly.

I was travelling from chennai to pondicherry (Via ecr) on 2/08/2018, there was a bit of rain out side bus because of that reason there was a flood inside bus. All the passenger was suggesting for the while travel including me. Please address this issue very seriously since rainy day has been started, else make the passengers free to travel in such bus.

I have reserved 3 tickets for travelling from chennai to puducherry with koyembedu boarding point, due to unavoidable reasons i happened to board the bus at guindy bus stand, i happened to find out that my tickets were already sold out to another passenger which was totally unfair and when asked about this he answered lethargically that it was not his concern and we were made to travel in standing throughout our journey which is totally unacceptable therefore through this complaint i kindly request you take action on the conductor who was responsible for this with the below details (Bus: prtc ac bus chennai to pondicherry, bus time: 5:30 pm, bus number: py01cd2065) so that this can be avoided in future.
