Work from home
Dear Sir/Mam,
I had been for interview and they have cheated me.
Company name: Regus
Address: Raheja towers, 26/27,
MG road, level 9, near bharat petrol bunk,
Bangalore
They are running a big group of spammers. No company asks for money to get a job.
(First they call you for interview and forcibly ask you to attend it even if you are not willing to attend it without Company's details. Once you attend interview they will show you package that you need to pay for getting job which is fake)
They are looting money from innocent people. Please make people aware about this. If not they will create havoc.
Bangalore is a nice city with various innocent people coming from different cultures. You people are having the power please make use of it. Let not unknown people suffer who are already struggling to get a job.
Regards,
Divya

inhumane working conditions
Address: DLH Park, SV road, Mumbai City, Maharashtra, 400064
Website: regus.com
Have been using two office spaces and since day one there has been aricondition temperature fluctuations, which also is to an extent that either the team members are shivering or sweating.
Members leave early and avoid being at office so that they do not have to go thru the torture
Upon complaints only cosmetic actions happen and no end result
Now when we decide to move we are being shown 3 months notice clause as if we are moving with our own wish. Rather its a big pain to us as we have to relocate and change contact address with all documents and clients.

Incorrect billing and demand to make payments into foreign accounts by non-Indian persons located outside India
Address: Pune, Maharashtra
I had a contract for office services with Regus Pune in 2011. Last year I attempted to change the contract but Regus insisted it was an auto renew contract and sufficient notice was required. After demanding the who years payment they agreed to reinstate and continue the contract at my request and a reinstatement fee was charged. I have made the payments for the subsequent periods. They arbritrarily put a late fee of 30% even though the late fee shouldn't amount to more than 2%.
Regus issues no receipts for payment and hence there is no official record from them for receipt of payment for the specific contract.
In October I informed the service office I deal with that I do not wish to renew the contract. The service office manager confirmed that there were no outstanding payments due and that all was in order.
I kept getting payment notices from a Regus person in the Philipines who never replied to any mail after I insisted that she should check with the relevant branch. The REgus person in the Philipines has been copied on all emails.
Then, in Feb 2015 I received a payment demand letter from Atradius Collections asking me to pay the outstanding amount to an account outside India. The matter is still under dispute even though the REgus PUne office has clarified that there are no due outstanding payments.
The issues:
No receipt issued for payments made
Payment demands by non-Indian citizens who were not listed on the contract and who do not have a permit or PAN to work in India
Arbritrary billing
Demand to make payments to foreign accounts - this could be a serious violation of Indian laws.
No response from amorphous Regus management. Regus Pune Centre is the only party that responds whenever they do respond.

The way REGUS doing business
A business is an organization involved in the trade of goods, services, or both to consumers or to other businesses. However, what will convince a consumer spending their money on your product?
The answer will be TRUST.
REGUS is the company I trusted when I just came to the U.S. As a foreigner, I choose to trust what REHUS’s agent had told me about their product and I signed contract with them.
Things change afterward; I cannot get my deposit back after returned the office I rent. It is an unethical behavior when doing business, especially for big company like REGUS.
I am furious because when I signing the lease with our agent, he told me I can move out anytime, but I have to let them know 3 month earlier. I did so. I let them know three month earlier and they approves it. But thing end up with no deposit back and they said I am not qualify with their deposit return clause. What their agent sales and what their contract says are totally different; This is what I learned from REGUS, Stay away from REGUS as soon as you smell it ~~~

Regus-Don't get fooled
Address: Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra
Dear friends,
I suggest, please take lessons from my experience below with Regus.
I had a horrible experience with Regus.Sudden changes in rules on membership, additional fees to be charged as they have authority to charge anytime they wish considering they are house rules. Different promises are made to customers when they want you to join and suddenly the rules change.Nothing is in favour of the consumer.I was asked to pay for a client when I had a meeting in their business center, whereas while i took the membership i was told that i can bring one client for free. There was no intimation provided on email and it was so embarrassing to face such a situation with the client around. The Regus staff got away saying that they had put a notice in the lounge at BKC.I being not a frequent visitor was not aware about such a rule. This was a pure cheating the client case as on my joining the membership i had told them my sole purpose of joining this center is for meetings. The Relationship manager agreed to all at the time of joining showing a rosy picture but at the time of addressing complaints he just said rules are subject to change and its mentioned in terms and conditions!
There has been no response from the Regus team regarding my complaints. My deposits are also blocked for more then 3 months now.

I have a similar situation. I merely rented a desk in order to have a business address to qualify for my distributorship, then worked 99% from home. Upon completing the 90 days in order to leave (you must provide 90 day notice), I made an apt to drop off the keys. The manager was not there and they said to simply leave the keys with them. I felt a little uncomfortable, but was stuck.
Later I saw a charge for $457 for "wear and tear" on the office (the desk that I sat at like 5 times) and to continue to pay for them to collect mail (which I don't want but they won't let me forward mail at the post office). They still owe me a $400 deposit.
Don't work with them, they are smarmy.

Sly practices - Just DON'T to Go here
Dear Companies, pls pls avoid this sly and horrible crook service provider. The policies of tarification, Well beyond tricky prison-like terms & conditions of Regus, I want to warn you all that it is the worst managed product ever available in the category on all the fronts: be it quality of offices, furnitures, fixtures, services: Regus internet access, hidden fees, Quality:Price ratio, AC, ventilation & everything possible. Just because it is an international business center it is trying to position itself at a level-above..but will definitely not succeed in doing so. International investors visiting the city just get lured with a heard name in their country of origin and enter Regus in India, But dear India visitors, pls avoid this Regus for your trips as well as your project offices in India. There is nothing of international standard here..leakage in offices, musty odors, bad maintenance, access pass not working, AC failures or freezing cold on top of all the monetary harassment that a company could imagine such as exit fees, heavy security deposits, undue advantage of retainers. A group o[censored]nsatisfied consumers is preparing to take Regus India to Consumer courts soon.

Regarding : Complaint about Regus Delhi Office.
Dear Sir/Madam,
We had good experience in having relationship with Regus USA.
We start to use the services in New Delhi India from September 01, 2009 where since beginning we are having problems. The people working at Regust, Jasola Office are totally unaware about Regus's service culture, very prompt to ask money without providing any service.
We would like to submit as follows:--
1. Two Month Free Service:
Without giving us dedicated tel no.fax no. the Delhi office has started the service from September First 2009. They inform our tel/fax no. only in October, 2009. There is a need to recorrect the service contract and paid service should start from Nov.2009 and keep October as free.
Second month service will be given at the end of the contract.
2. No records of call/fax :-As per our request we asked Regus New Delhi to send us caller/fax details by email as the undersigned always travelling, the Delhi office never informed by email. infect they dial my overseas no. They never keep any person to answer the call, pl. call this no.[protected]
3. Never Honored their Promise:- It is a fact that due to my regular continuous stay in USA, I am not able to use the Regust New Delhi, so I requested to freeze/suspend for 3 months. They confirmed and asked the payment of Jan/Feb 2010, but after I paid the money they refused to freeze and suspend. (enclosed the copies of email)
We, therefore, have no other option but to discontinue based on ABOVE EXPLAINED reasons. No service, no email from Regus Delhi, since beginning they are not answering our telephones. most of Indian clients never leave any message in voice mail like western countries. Regus Delhi is only interested to charge money without providing their servicers. The customers are cheated due to Regus Brand but there is no commitment for services like Regus Global.
We are totally frustrated with regus New Delhi since very beginning, instead of extending good service, keeping their promise for freezing account, they just trying to forfeit our deposit, which shows that they are not interested to give services and they are not efficient to give services.

It is everything and worse! Once your in they( watch your pockets women and men) nickel and dime you on everything. If they could charge you $3.00 every time you sneeze they would. Regus's business model is to lure small or medium company into their offices at attractive prices and locations with a contract that they can get out of at anytime and subject you to constant price increases for everything they can think of and they will not give you notice. They just charge away until they get every last penny out of you. Price increases All the Time! If you want your mail after you leave them, you have to pay huge amounts of money. This has to be a crime. It is true that they all lie except for a few new employees. But, it will not take long. They are all in on it. It is not just me. Someone I know left a few years ago and he confirms this and I have met at least two small business owners who left in 2011, too. They do not care if they destroy the businesses they are suppose to service. The day offices are usually filthy. If you complain, they tell you it is not in their budget to clean it. Bold face lies. Directors and Managers rarely return calls. This past year has been a battle practically everyday. A person has their business to contend with everyday. It should not be with one's "landlord". I was told that I would have to pay $25.00 for an extra chair for my customer's mother while in my office who would spend less than two hours in my office. I could write a book but I am busy looking for new space. G-d willing, maybe tomorrow. Please be careful with Regus. They are bullies who harass their clients.
They will give big promises at the time of signup but charge you for every littls hidden thing once you are in their net. AVOID
They are unethical, disorganised, inefficient and crooked. We had a 6 month contract with the Vashi, New Mumbai centre that expired in end July. We gave notice and left in early June, asking them to cut the fees till the end of the term and return the balance deposit held by them. Instead of doing this, in early August various people from various Regus offices started asking for various amounts- all of which had the details wrong: the first mail had the wrong period of contract; ALL had the wrong office address and ALL had different amounts (ranging from Rs 6+ lakhs to Rs 10+ lakhs) that we owed them instead of the other way around! They've now passed it on to a 'collection agency' to whom we've passed on the details for the nth time.
There should be serious legal action against these guys...and everyone should be warned off them. Attrition rates are high so there is no one particular person you can collar. Just an all-round sleazy outfit.

I am facing similar issues with Regus.
They renewed the contract after I wanted a refund of the membership fee and that too after a lapse of 2 months of my initial contract.
They are sending me invoices on back date for a PREPAID service.
They are very unprofessional, unethical and extortion specialists.
They threaten of a legal action and the same time email about sending recovery agents to my place.
You will never hear from them about any details, service status or anything.
But once you ask for a refund of a refundable fee, they start making excuses and start back date invoice for the last 12, 24 or 36 months.
We need a collective action against them.

I am facing similar issues with Regus Gurgaon.. I wanted to close services and informed them in September 2014. The renewal began in December 2014.. they stopped taking my calls and did not answer any emails.. So I stopped payment. Now sent me legal notices saying that the account got renewed and I will have to pay for the whole year 2015. Crooks..! On being asked why my earlier mails were not answered, I am told all staff from September 2014 has left now and they cant answer my queries.. good joke..! How can a foreign legal authority be liable in India by the way..?
Try out Air BnB. They are simply outstanding. Dont know where all they are available in India but have used them in the West and they are truly value for money. Like the British, (rightly described by Napoleon as a nation of shopkeepers), that is exactly what Regus is.
Regus Ballance Sheffield, UK - Unbelievable experience
I would warn anyone about the issues we've had with Regus in Sheffield.
We we're initially given promises by the sales rep prior to signing the agreement which were purely to meet monthly sales targets within the building. We we're assured of a monthly cost but beware there are many hidden costs which were only disclosed once the agreement was signed. We we're told by the sales rep our monthly bill would be in the region of £750.00 but with hidden extras such as additional data charges the monthly cost was £1100.00 - £1200.00. Subsequently that sales person left the business.
We also had tenants in the office next door who for 5 months played music full volume and shouted to each other during sales exercises for 2 hours every morning. We made several complaints but nothing was done about this. Regus are clearly incapable of enforcing their house rules. Initially before we signed up we asked on 2 occasions if we could view the office in the morning but we were told that it was only possible in the afternoon which was clearly down to the noise every morning.
There were more than 5 incidents of people flying round the corridors on electric segway boards carrying hot drinks. Again little was done about this. On one incident we had clients nearly hit by someone flying down the corridor as they stepped out of the office door.
The office cleaners come in to clean in the morning between 9-10 which disrupts the office during this time.
The front desk receptionist failed to acknowledge our company existed in the building even though he had been told on many occasions. Even to the point of arguing with clients that our company was not in the building.
Very poor customer service and lack of response to emails was very frustrating.
Also beware of the auto-renewal as this caught us out. The reminder email comes through 3 months before the lease ends and then auto-renews for the same period again. Unfortunately the auto-renewal email had gone into a junk email folder and as a result we had missed it and were locked in for a further 6 months even though we have left the premises.
We asked Regus for a show of good faith to see if there was any movement on the period of auto-renewal but there was nothing even after everything we had endured during this period.
Being at the Regus office has affected relationships with our clients due to the various incidents and has affected productivity within the company.
An extremely bad service overall.

I agree. Regus india is so corrupt and trying to swindle money from customers and Sign up for services that we can't use. Then very slow to process cancellations and overcharging and agressive at collections. Who could help us fight against them?
I completely agree with all the problems noted above by the victims of the Regus. They are really very bad people. They harassed me so much mentally and physically. They never resolve problems and always are very aggressive when it comes to collections. The money charged is also never proportionate to the services provided by them. I will contest cases for free against the Regus by only accepting nominal expenses. PRASHANT [protected].
