Taxspanner has given me the worst experience of tax filing. As I was filing for first time and taxspanner was recommended by my company so I bought a CA assisted plan costing 1600 INR.
After I brought the plan I asked multiple times about rebate/return and what they responded that your return already filed. No further steps required....

Sent more than 11 reminders.
Issue: Want my Refund of Rs2358.82 along with compensation (Consumer time and mental disturbance) for unprofessional services of Ticket #560705
In-spite of multiple follow-ups' to get my refund for payment I made to Tax Spanner for services of Tax filing and Tax returns, which they did not provided. When I call at Tax spanner No +[protected] with extension 37 after dialing 2 every time either...

I have paid amount Receipt Number: TS[protected] and also submitted document for ITR, but have not received any draft or response.

This is a fraud company. They did not file my return. The money was paid. I called on the customer care and realised that a number is dubious and bounces to a lady whose husband has passed away. Really sorry for their loss. Do not do not use their services. They are fraud cheats

In fact I was surprised how this firm is verified on INCOME TAX site. They should block their access so others are saved from these kind of frauds.

I took option of self assist completed ITR and submitted ITR on taxspanner on time but they didn't file it on govt website because of which I have to pay a penalty of 5k.

After waiting afor 5 days I reached out to them, case manager assigned was Neelima and they didn't properly respond or call back despite mentioning clearly on mail that their number is not getting connected and is showing as non available

From 5th till 18th daily I was following up with them on mails only as they didnt bother to call back and finally raised issue on chat and got call back and sorted as they didnt even look at ITR i filed and closed on their site till 18th Aug

I paid 5K penality for their mistake - I have recept and completion of my payment to them before due date

I took their services to file ITR. From day 1, their responses have been slow after the payment for their services were paid. Eventually, they missed filing the ITR by the due date and I have to now pay a penalty of 5k for missing the deadline. Their customer care number goes unanswered and when a call back was requested, they refused to call me. The dedicated tax analyst was Pankaj but received an absolutely pathetic service.

I paid over Rs 900 for efiling services they stopped responding to my emails and their customer care number doesnt work. Till i made payments there was communication, after payments they absconded. I am unable to reach them. They are big fraudsters, i cant believe this scam. How are they still functioning? Strict action needsto be taken.

Later understood they are not authorized to e file but running website
They also charges heavily for the services which they not delivered
please block the website its a fraud

Money was deducted by tax spanner for itr support but no support was given for itr filing and I had to ultimately do it using ITD website

I've submitted my ITR returns form on August and after 3 months the returns are still not verified and there is no response from the consultants on their website.
I've subscribed to their INR 234 package . Not they are not willing to refund the amount.

I paid tax spanner rs 471 for filing ITR on 31 August but till now my ITR has not filed . The owner Krishna Gopal Varshney asked for my efiling password. I provided him the same but he didn't file my ITR and now he is not picking my phone. He messaged me that he will call me later but didn't give me call nor filed the ITR.

I took their service for filling income tax return for the financial year[protected].I paid Rs 1532.82 for their service.I had submitted all the required documents including Form 16 and income tax exemption receipts.But they did not file the income tax return and did not contact me for not filling.Now i can not file for[protected] as the last date has passed.please provide me the amount spent for their service and the IT return amount for that year.

I have paid for a request a month ago and called Taxspanner, written multiple emails to them and still no response; thier CA Manjusha assures me she will respond within a day; i have to keep trying thier number to reach them. It has been a month withmultiple emails and follow ups and no response yet.

They don't even know how to do e-filing if there are more than 1 form 16. I'm an employee and INCOME tax payer. If it was single Form-16, I would've filed it myself without assistance. As I had 2 forms, I approached them and paid 300/- as service fee for which I received idiotic service in return. They did wrong e-filing by including some 6 digit amount under other INCOME (section 10). Lethargic dogs with no attention to details. It seems that the amount was from someone else's and he did some adjustments/mistakes without a way to rectify.

It's always better to consult some experienced employees in one's organization in such situations instead of these ###.

Support #367272. I had opted for assistance services and paid INR 942.82 during a customer service chat as i has two form 16s and it gave me an error. However the tax manager Neelam never called me even once proactively. I called her nearly 7 times today only to follow up. And the end i did it myself and since then i have been following up for a refund, however there is no response on email or calls.
highly irresponsible, fake and disgusting customer service.

I started receiving calls from tax spanner early in Jun 2018. At that time i had not even received my documents for tax filing. Once i got my documents i had opted for CA Assisted package and was told that i would get phone & chat support during business hours and the returns would be filed in 2 days time. However, i did not receive any response. No one picks up the phone. The support people in chat ask me the same questions and have a standard response - by end of day you will get a response. Not sure how many such end of days have gone by and am still waiting.

Tax Spanner appears to be a fraud on people.

I made the payment of rs. 1198/- no services received hence claimed refund ticket number #162529] no response from them taxspanner is a fraud company.

On jul 30 i had signed up with tax spanner so that they can help me with my returns. [support #149555]. I gave them all my details as well as paid a payment of rs.3538.82 (Mrp rs.2999.00) for file & plan tax (Ca assisted). I have been sending them emails daily as well as trying to call them up but have not got any response. I would have gone to my finance guys to get it done but i already made a payment to tax spanner and all i needed is a confirmation from them. This has been very frustrating.

Hi have submitted and itr and later got a mail from it dep saying there is some mismatch on my form16 and my itr. So i contacted taxspanner and the support guy asked me to pay and get support, so i paid 800+ rupees for the support and thats all there is no proper support from anyone. Finally i reached the escalation team and that is more pathetic and they say that the amount that i paid that for the support for fixing my issue. Support_assisted_to #88809

I am sure i will take these support guys to consumer court. I will never use this scammers tax spanner. Their support number that is useless

I signed up for ca assisted package (Case number 139320) through tax spanner website and sent all the relevant documents like form 16, savings details etc for itr filing.

I received the payment confirmation reply on same day i. E on july 26, 2017 asking for submission of form 16 and savings details for filing return. I submitted all documents on july 27.

Since then i have not received any reply from them despite repeated reminders and calling their office. My case is assigned to ms lopa verma (Ca) & every time i call, they say we are sending it in 15 mins but it never comes.

I feel cheated as they accepted full payment in advance and are not providing tax filing service to customer!

For FY14 filing, I chose Taxspanner Assited service which is Rs. 796. As part of the process they asked all taxes paid in that year and i provided all the document. They told their CA's verified and they filed it as well. Couple of weeks back I got a letter from Income Tax department that i owe them Rs.80, 000.

I reachout to Taxspanner since they filed it for me. They told to revisit I need to pay another Rs. 1143, so I paid that too.

Intially they told i do not have to pay anything back to IT, later they came back and told that there was an error from their side, so I need to Pay IT Rs80, 000 (Which included the penalty)


1. If TaxSpanner properly filled the incometax for FY14, , I should have paid the Rs. 68000.
2. Now due to this error i ended up paying Rs. 80080 which is Rs.12039 more, due to TaxSpanner filling it incorrectly plus it was reviewed by your experts as part of Assisted Service.
3. I'm asking for a refund for the penalty that i ended up paying and they are giving excuses. They should refund Rs, 12036 which is due to their mistake.

What options i have to legally bring this company in front of law and tell the public they are not worth doing business with since they are not experts in this business. Also I'm spending lot of time in chasing these folks to get a response.

Any suggestion to get the refund is welcome.

I experienced the same. I had given my form-16 and paid Rs. 400to the agents from TaxSpanner in my office for two years file. They entered incorrect amount in the "TDS" field, and thus, my returns became ZERO. Also i raised a complaint to support.[protected]@spanacross.com where i received below email. This is complete cheating. Do not support this kind of cheaters. Initially they take 200 only and later they wont fill TDS part properly. They again come to us and ask for 1300+ hundreds to correct it. Please do not entertain this kind of cheaters. Kindly note that return was filed properly and we have reviewed the attached intimation and noticed that income tax department has not given you the credit of the Taxes deducted by employer therefore they have raised the demand for the same amount with interest liability. Hi, I requested tax spanner for 2015 tax filing via email support. I informed the team ( I Have all emails related to this communication) that I have Form 16 with zero income and foreign tax returns, tax spanner recommend to file the tax returns as it good. I said ok. They asked me to transfer 569Rs online and i did it. They asked me to check the returns online and confirm, I notice that they have furnished my foregn income. When I asked them to check they asked me to pay Rs2000/- + fee. Its just a shock to me. It seems they had communication issue and didn't see my foreign income details previously. It doesn't make any sense to me to pay Rs2000/- for tax returns. I asked them for refund but nothing happened. Forget about refund, I had to send multiple reminders to get an update on my communications. Its really frustrating and time consuming. I am really surprised with the unprofessional attitude.

I have filed my mother's taxes for year ending 2014 and paid Rs 400 to the TaxSpanner agent in my office in Accenture.They filed the taxes incorrectly without even verifying it once with me. Now I am following it up from past 1 month and not getting any reply to my emails....

I filed my return through taxspanner on July 9th and provided them 3 form 16, but while submitting my return they took only 2 in calculations, I have written several emails to them and till now either no reply to most of them or just the scripted reply. There is no way to call them and only Option is to keep emailing. Complain Number [protected]

I am from IBM India and have submitted my Form 16 and PAN card along with a payment of Rs. 150 to the tax spanner stall people here in IBM. Now only I see that they seems to be not responding at all to mails or phones. I am really worried if my tax returns were filed properly.
Their phone is always busy and when I emailed them it came with some automated request Id [protected].
Don't know what to do now as I am doubtful that they have submitted my IT returns.

I have filed the IT returns through taxspanner through an agent from Accenture office, Bannerghatta road, Bangalore.
The receipt number is : BLR1969 dated 25/7/2011.

But I have not recieved any acknowledgement for the same. Also I am unable to locate my email id : [protected]@yahoo.com in the taxspanner website.

My PAN number is: AYYPS6914R

I filled income tax returns through TaxSpanner executive visited our office. I filled two forms for tax returns: 1) A.Y[protected] and 2)A.Y[protected]

They completely screwed up income tax filing and I am not sure how to set right the matter as there are many mistakes done by them and email interaction is very poor to reach them.

They used Form-16 of A.Y. 2009-10 for filing A.Y 2011-12 and went ahead e-filed without my concern and I got acknowledgement from income tax department also.

After several email communications, they finally submitted e-filing of tax returns for A.Y 2011-12 on 2-Aug,2011. I am not sure e-fling status is success or not. I have not received the ITR-V till date.

I have not been communicated anything about e-fling for A.Y[protected]. I paid Rs:150 and they completely ignored this e-filing.

Any hope from them to get the efiling done ?

Even after paying full amount for availing online tax filing services to TaxSpanner, I have still not received my ITR-V. Even the E-file status is showing as "Not E-Filed" in my account. When I had requested for ITR-V, I was asked to give my residence address which I promptly did. But till date I have not received any document. I am really concerned by the lack of response to e-mails and there is no customer support number to contact. Please help me by providing confirmation that the E-Filing has been done and send the ITR-V so that I can send it to IT Dept.

I submitted my efile from Tax spanner and it shows success status on Tax spanner page. Till Now i have not received the ITR -V form on email.Logged a complaint ## [protected], so far no updates.
