Defected Product and are not ready to give the refund

I purchased a Tommy Hilfiger spectacles almost a year ago. The spectacle was getting discolored so I complained regarding it. At first the shopowner was not accepting it as a complaint after repeated complaint he accepted it and told me to courier the product to sterling optics, Mumbai. I being a resident of Kolkata told that it won't be possible for me to see the new frame which he might provide . so they suggested that they will show me the picture I said ok . After that I couriered the product and now they are neither providing me a refund nor a new same product . They are providing me only three choices which are only good for 60 year old person. I being a 20year old guy I rejected them and gave them three choices.
1. Provide me an option to choose a frame at local shop
2. Provide me the same frame in new condition
3. Refund me my money back.
They were not agreeing to it then I said that I will report this to consumer forum and they were not even afraid of this they said that you may do so. I being a student of IIT atleast expect such a small favour from Indian government . Please help me out

Hi Team (Tommy),
This is in regard to the problems I am facing with the watch I did purchase in October 2014.
I am residing in Pune location (India) and I did purchase the watch from Pune Central (Future Lifestyle Fasions Limited) Pune-411007.
The watch has stopped working for the first time in December 2014 (after 2 months of purchase)and then I reached out to the Pune Central shop from where I did purchase it.
It has been conveyed to me by the shop representatives of Pune Central that they have sent it to Titan Service centre, JM Road, Pune.
I was in continuous touch with the Pune Central shop representative and then they have informed me in the month of January 2015 that there is some issue with the machine of the watch and it has been sent to Bangalore Service centre from Titan Service centre, JM Road, Pune.
After that in March 2015 I finally received the watch that has been made working from Bangalore service centre.
Just after a month receiving the repaired watch it has again stopped working. This has happened twice in 6 months after purchasing the watch.
Again 4 weeks back I have re-submitted the watch to Pune Central shop but this time I have lost my confidence in watch itself.
I am not sure even after it gets repaired this time, how many days will it work and not sure by how many days it will stops working again.
I purchased this watch with a confidence in Tommy brand but this is no more working for me and it gives me a wrong feedback about the brand and its services. For most of the time the watch remains in the Service centre and only for few days with me.
I want this watch to be replaced as this watch is more that 10K INR in cost and this is getting stopped again and again even after getting repaired from service centre.

Fading Shirt

I bought a shirt from Tommyhilfiger, GVK mall showroom which costed me 3499. As soon as I bought the shirt, I washed it once before wearing it but the shirt started fading after washing it. I visited the showroom and returned the shirt, the lady at the store told me that the manager wasn't around and will let me know as soon as he is back. After couple of hours, the lady calls me and tells me that we haven't received any complaints till date on this shirt so we won't send your shirt for verification and there might be a problem with your detergent. This is so stupid of your manager.

Bag Skin Out Completely

I had purchased a bag from Tommy Hilfiger, Mumbai and its not even a year the entire outer leather skin from my bag just came out. I was told in case of any complain i can as usual go to any store all over India for my convenience. I went to ahmedabad store in alpha one mall and showed them my bag condition. They told me they will be keeping my bag for Quality check and this will be done in Bangalore. On asking them the entire duration for my bag to get back to me they said the entire process will take 2 weeks. On their assurance i gave my bag for whatever quality check they had to do. Later it was more than two months i kept calling the people in ahmedabad to let me know the status of my bag. But the way they talked was completely a misbehavior. They don't know how to deal with the customers. They would always tell me madam just give us 2 mins and we will let you know. But their two mins never came till 2 months and they had no clue where actually my bag is. After all such nonsense i got frustrated and went to the shop directly do ask for my bag. I went late night almost when the store was just about to close. The employee from Tommy Hilfiger said he has no clue about my bag what he knows is that the bag is in Bangalore for Quality check. I told them i need to get the update on my bag the very next morning. The next morning at 9am i get a call from Tommy saying that my bag is back in ahmedabad and it has failed the Quality check i.e. Meaning they canno0t fix it neither replace it. Now the only question that i have is how can my bag be back the very next early morning that too when they had confirmed me that its still in Bangalore for quality check. I don't believe they even sent my bag for a quality check because if they would have sent my bag it would have definitely got replaced because its condition really got pathetic. I did not say anything to the employees there just took my bag and was coming and during that same time i heard the lady employee saying to a guy " yaar isko bheja tha kya bangalore? bheja hota to reject nahi hota".
I had even asked the employees there to show me any mail or a proof that my bag was being sent to bangalore for check, but they didnt had any such proof.
I just dont belive even after buying products of such high range the service delivery to the customer is pathetic. Tommy needs to look after the complains of their customer and not just fool around.

Pathetic, cheap quality of watch - needs replacement

I purchased a Tommy Hilfiger wrist watch on 22 November 2013.
In july 20014 itself, the belt is totally into pieces. The worn out, rugged, everything that can happen to it.Also the watch has stopped working.
I really did not expect this quality from a brand like 'Tommy'. Have spent 5500 on this watch and it didnt even last a year! I want a replacement of this watch.
I am following up with the Titan team (as in India Tommy Hilfiger customer support is provided by Titan) since 23 Sept. Till now have dropped 5 mails and 4 calls! But n response. When I call up they say my issue has been escalated, but have not received any mail or call guiding me what to do next!
Am really annoyed by the way Titan/Tommy treats their customer!

handbag
I purchased a handbag approx. a year ago. The bag was not used that often and now removing it from my closed I noticed the leather is extremely soft and ready to tear. All my other Tommy bags never showed this kind of damage. I am very surprised and love this bag. Want to know what happen to the leather? Since I have no receipt what is your return policy.

about the exchange policy for clothes

i purchased a denim worth rs 9999 before sale.and then after some time the sale begun.i want to exchange this denim but they said there is a loss of 3000 while uh exchange it.so they suggest me to come after sale.when i went there today but they said that the sesion has changed.so we cant exchange it.thats all.so i felt vey bad for it.while my total shoping in the last year is worth 3lakhS..so how they can do it..its all about one denim.

Good day, yesterday i bought a pair of ladies shoes from your spring 2014 collection. Whilst paying for the pair i opened the box to make sure of the correct size. This pair had clearly been worn. I asked the salesman to please get me a new pair. He told me that was the last size and they had only been on the mannequin. The mannequin actually had a pair like that on.
I am looking at this pair of shoes for which i paid full price and feel hard done by as i dont have the joy of actually putting on NEW shoes..
I still have not worn them. Please advise.

However I found that the same T shirt is available for INR 789 on snapdeal.com.
I am curious to know that whether the products sold by snapdeal are genuine or not?
If yes, I am feeling cheated by tommy hilfiger.

Tommy Hilfiger not replacing a defective Overnighter - > 6 months passed

I purchased an Overnighter from Tommy Hilfiger (TH) Travel Gear (R-City Mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai) last year around. Within 2 months the bag developed a problem in the zip and I deposited the bag in the store for rectification / replacement.
It has been around 6 months and still I have not got any words regarding replacement of the same.
- When I submitted, I was told that the bag will get rectified / replaced within 2-3 weeks ===> 1 month passed; No words / call from TH
- I called back and was told that some issues were going on in the shop and that TH shall be replacing my bag within 2 weeks ===> 2 months passed; No words / call from TH
- I kept on following up and was told that they are trying to arrange a bag from Indore / Bhopal and that TH will revert in 2 weeks ===> 1 month passed; No words / call from TH
- In Jan'14 end, I was told that new stocks will arrive at the store on 20th of Feb'14 and I ill surely get a bag then ===> on 9th Mar'14 I went to the store; still no bag was available and TH was clueless what to do.
Even after providing more than 6 months to TH, I have no visibility when I shall get the replacement of my bag.

poor quality of shoes

My wife purchased one pair of shoes from Tommy Hilfiger international showroom which is located in express avenue ground floor on 10th January 2014 the quality of the shoes was so poor she had shoe bite on both the legs and she could not walk in the tour of Dubai for which she bought the shoes after returning from Dubai we went to the showroom and lodged the compliant and the staffs are so rude that they are not bothered to listen our grievances even the area manager of the store did not bothered to respond us back even after leaving our contact numbers and even after repeated request to replace they are not bothered in frustration my wife handed over the shoes to the stores without getting replaced its of no use and till today i.e 19.02.14 there is not even a single from the store manager. this the reputation of this international brand goods are of poor quality and the staffs are ridicule's and rude and to my wonder how this international brand like Tommy is doing like road side shop.

while visiting the store i noticed that the manager in charge Ms. Anna at Tommy is very rude and insensitive to the sales staff working under her. while i tried to convey her for betterment she was loud and sounded very frustrated. i am also into international business and feel that such violations are serious for a company like Tommy.

Watch stopped working

dear sir,
i took one watch from tommy hilfiger showroom in chandigarh, it stopped working with in 15 days and i returned the watch to helios store in chandigarh itself and they changed all mechanism of it but after few months it again stopped all the hands of the watch are free/loose . i want my my money back or a new watch.

Rude outrageous customer service
On June 26, 2013 my daughter and I went to Tommy Hilfiger store to check out their sales. My daughter had found a few items while I was still looking. She went and got a dressing room to try on the clothes that she had picked out and I came to see how they fit on her. All of a sudden this Malasian woman one of Tommy Hill sales person (I myself am asian not being racist) came and said that my daughter was in someone else's dressing room.when in actual one of the other Tommy Hilfiger sales girl had open the dressing room door for her. That rude woman said there was a sweater in the room and if my daughter have it. However, the dressing room was emptied out when my daughter was let in by one of the sales girl. As they walked away i over heard that rude woman said what could have happen to that sweater and to keep an eye on them. That made me very upset and I told my daughter that we have to go not wanting to make a scene. I have been a loyal customer of Tommy Hilfiger for many years and we spent over $500.00 every time we're there about every 3 to 4 months and to be accused of being a thief is outrageous. I will never set foot in that store again ever.

T Shirt Poor Quality

On 17.04.2013 against Invoice no 000178 I bought a Tshirt for Rs. 2999/-. After using two times the Tshirt had a hole in front side of it. It was due to knitting problem of the manufacturer. I went for exchange to Show Room, but they denied for changing that Tshirt. When I told them I will make a complaint in Cosnsumer Forum they kept my Tshirt for sending it to the manufacturer for Verification. After three days when I called them, it was told to me that manufacturer will have quality check for replacing it. I do not understand what is the benefit of purchasing such a costly Brand, if they are not supporting us due to manufacturing defect.

watch stopped working thrice in spite of getting it repaired thrice from the same service centre

Hi..this is regarding a tommy hilfiger watch purchased from THE WORLD OF TITAN -PRATHNA SAMAJ purcased on 10/1/2010, model no-TH1710108/D.
It has been repaired two times within a year because it had stopped working.. before few days again it stopped working and today I visited the same service centre again at 4:30pm today they said its a minor issue they fixed it but it again stopped working within half an hour..
I would like to get the watch replaced because this happened for the 4th time

I am a privileged customer of tommy hilfiger since last 5 years. It came a shock to me that this time when i purchased clothes worth Rs.1,85,000(approx).Most of them either are torned off or fadded or deformed.
I went to the show room which is located in the khan market ,New Delhi to get my clothes exchanged and got 3 slips to get it done on 22/09/12. But Miss.Neha ,manager of the store behaved in a rude manner, but an employee of that store assured me to get it exchanged after the sale reason.
Again on 16/11/12, i enquired about its status then again madam Neha had taken two slips out of three and said only few clothes will be exchanged, even this time her behaviour was very rude.
This is against the reputation of the name of this brand. I want an appropriate action against the manager of the store (Miss. Neha) and also get my clothes exchanged.

Miserable handbag quality exchange

I bought a THD handbag from Shoppers Stop at Inorbit mall, Mumbai for my mother about 6 months ago. Despite being used under 10 times, it has developed cracks on both the straps and also one clasp exposes the cheap build quality. When I took it to the flagship store on khar linking road, the guy sent me to the travel store, which is a franchise. After they refused, I took it back to the main store again and they accepted it. After ten days, when I called, the store exec (Sameer) said the manager (Nimesh) had authorised the exchange and two days later, I get a call from the manager to apologise it can't be done. Since he was not clear as to why it was declined, i procured the number of the regional manager (Rishab Mehrotra) who knew lesser. He didnt have any answers, he asked if i had the bill. I reminded him it wasn't a bag purchased off the road, it was a Tommy; we walk into stores like this so we are assured quality. He explained the bag has be
en spoiled through wear and tear. He said the Quality dept had confirmed this bag went out 10 months ago. When I asked him if he knew for sure Shoppers didnt stock it, or if Tommy bags are only good for 9 months, he didn't have a reply. Then i pointed to the fact that the bag was used by a 50 year old woman who travels only in a car and pointed to the sheen on the bag. He insinuated the sheen could be polished on. I lost my cool, because he was insinuating that a customer was lying. My obvious response was "Are you kidding me?" I said that twice. He asked me to watch the word, I said he should watch the fact that he was calling me a liar (for a little bag). Then he childishly said (and this seems borrowed from some inept call centre training he has had) "please don't use that word, because I will have to disconnect the call". And then he childishly said I should "get lost" thrice before hanging up.
I would like a refund, because the bag hasnt been used. And these kids don't know that every complaint should not be treated like some reference number. Not every one out there is lying for a new bag.

Hi
I bought this watch from tommy Hilfiger from HELIOS watch store located at Bangalore (jayanagar) When i bought the watch the strap was red in color.
After like about a month's usage the strap turned maroon , a layer of dirt has settled over it. And when i tried going back to the store they said they tried cleaning it with liquid but the color started flowing. So i really don't know how to get back the actual look !! Please look into this!

I went to get Tommy shirts for me from the recently opened "Tommy Hilfiger" exclusive showroom at Brookefields. I took out few shirt for trial and during then I noticed a shirt with the code "P1ATW048" & color "CHATEAU GREY" where there were poor stitching and uncut & loose threads hanging at most of the places. Since, I being an apparel manufacturer usually check the garment before buying it. I made a complaint at the store too and told them to pass on the same to their management. If they are going to keep such garments, then surely none will be willing to take it as other brands provide really a good quality just for 1500.Rs

CHEAP QUALITY WATCHES AND POOR AFTER SALES SERVICE

Me Sourabh Kochar resident of Faridabad purchased a new Tommy Hilfiger Watch from Ansal Plaza , South Ex. on[protected] worth Rs.7995-
I got hurt when the watch stopped working properly only after 2 months of purchase. I called up Store Manager and told him the exact position. They repaired the watch and returned it to me confirming it will not bother me again.
Opposite my hopes, I received a setback when the watch again started troubling me.
I called them again and they told me to go to FINE SALES , G-46 Crown Interior Mall, Faridabad and explain the matter. On[protected] I gave them the watch and got the promise that the matter will be resolved at the earliest. After few days after the follow up I got to know that Tommy Hilfiger have issued me a coupon against which I can get any watch upto the purchase amount. I asked Fine sales to get me the same model new piece which they did not had in stock. Other than this they did not had any options in the same range. The things got WORSE when they ( Mr. Subhra ) even refused to use this coupon at any other store in India.
They used the Harsh and Abusive Language and made the situation even more Worse. ( RECEIPT NO. TH10227 )
When I asked them to amaekabally resolve the matter else I have to move to the Consumer Court for the cheating done by the company.
Kindly look into the matter and allow me to use this coupon at any Tommy store OR get the same model new watch.

Tommy Hilfiger — Bad Service & Bad products
I bought a Tommy Hilfigure Laptop bag 6 months ago and within 3-4 months it got worn off badly. When I went to the Tommy outlet in Ambience mall, Gurgaon they clearly told me that since you didnt buy it from our outlet, we cant get it repaired. Also they said that Tommy just sells the bags, it doesnt repair them. I still insisted on them getting it repaired. It has been more than 10 days that they have kept my bag but i have not heard from them, neither do they revert on the phone.I have bought various other companies bags e.g Aldo/ Hidesign and all these companies have shown a prompt response in taking care of the manufacturing defects.
Must say I will never ever buy any Tommy product, niwther will any of my family or friends buy any of the TOMMY products.

I had purchased a T – SHIRT GREEN BASIC POLO [ Product Code 473539 ] and soon I found that the colour had faded. I approached the authorized show room from where I had purchased the item. They kept it for good over a month and responded by saying that the quality was OK. I told them that the cloth was OK but the colour had faded. They directed me to Ms Anuja Shah. I have written two e mails but there has been no response.

leak of shoe colour on socks

on sunday, 15th of november i bought tommy hilfier shoes n on tuesday,17th of november i wore i but what i saw after wearing that my white socks becomes blue... i compained on wednesday,18th november about their fault . they said us to bring socks n the very next day (thrusday) we go there to show them socks. instead of changing our shoes they said its not a genuine fault. i need u to take strict action against them cuz it come under warrenty more over a thing bought can be replaced with in a week. so i want u to please show some strictness because a brand like tommy is showing such a bad service than whom to expect else ??

I had bought a wrist watch of Tommy Hilfiger (Model no: 1790565) from Lifestyle, Mulund on 23-12-07 worth Rs. 7995/-. The strap broke on 18/11/08 and I had given it to Titan World, Ghatkopar-W, Mumbai for repairs (Job Card: 788 dated: 19/11/08). It was returned to me after a month with new strap.
Unfortunately, the strap again broke on 5th Aug 09 and in similar way like last time and I had to rush to same Titan show room where-in I was informed after a month that it cannot be repaired and you will have to pay Rs. 1500/- for another strap (not the same style) or replace the watch with new watch but the new watch cannot be worth more than Rs. 6500/-. I am wondering, why should I pay for another strap which does not look similar or why should I compromise for another watch.
I was really very shocked to hear these statements from a premium brand like "Tommy Hilfiger". They should be customer centric. Their watches are not bought by any Tom, Dick and Harry. I was so damn frustrated that I never looked back at the watch again till date. I was just cleaning my house I now found it and I thought to pen down my frustration to someone.
I am wanting someone to help me out in getting this watch repaired. I am even willing to pay for new strap but it should be of same style as it was bundled when I bought the new one.

water proofing

I have bought a tommy hilfiger watch from Khaleel &co.,#4-1-848, opp.mosque, abid road,hyderabad-500001 phonw 66682266 , i was witnessing the problem of water entry in the watch and then i went back to the shop again and told them about the problem they took the watch and told me that they will send back this watch to the company and try to rectify the problem with in 5 days and it took them 14 days for finding a solution after which the watch was worked fine for just 9 days and again the same problem was started ,
i again took the watch to the shop from where i bought the watch and even repairs one's and demanded them to replace this watch with another or return my money back they said that they cannot replace this with another and again they took the watch and said that they will again send it back to the company
i as a regular tommy hilfiger costumer demand's a replacement no matter if it's much expensive watch then what i bought , am ready to pay the difference , on the other hand if their will not be any action taken on the issue i will defiantly i will take a legal action.

Bad Quality

I took 3 tommy tees for my brother in fresh, we generally do home wash that too by only dipping in the detergent water and washing with clean water and drying......After 2-3 wash the t shirt was having holes in it at various places.
When i showed it to the shop they said we cant do anything as you dont have the bill....when i took the tees the shop was very new at our place so they were not having the billing software at that time, so they just made hand bill and gave it to me.
Tommy is a good brand and i generally wear this only. But such cases are not good for the company repo, i dont want a new one in exchange of it or i dont want money but the thing that matters to me is the bad quality which is not reaching upto the company for being taken care of.
Please resolve my complaint asap.
